Let's add two girls but it doesn't really matter to me. It just seems more realistic that way because girls would have more female best friends than male best friends I think.

Fern walked into school, her school bag over her shoulder, unconsciously scratching at the scars on her arms. She noticed that not as many people stared at her as she wandered through the hallways. Her attack was only a two weeks ago, but already it became old news. Fern was glad that the attention was no longer on her.

Cody was standing near to the entrance of the school wishing he wasn't even there to start with when he noticed a particular girl who stood out of the crowd easily to him but she was surrounded by teenagers and he didn't want to make a scene in front of everyone who was there so they could gossip about it.

Humphrey walked up to Fern from outside of the building and looked at her curiously. He said while smiling widely "You look a lot better than you did last week and the week before Fern."

Elizabeth shouldered Humphrey in the ribs and said "That not a way to say hi to our injured friend Humphrey." She looked at her friend and asked "How are you doing today?"

"Guys, I'm fine. Honestly," Fern said urnestly. "It feels like it happened forever ago. I've pratically forgotten the whole thing." What Fern was saying wasn't at all true, but one thing she had learned through the passed through weeks was how to lie.

"Yeah, it was just a little bear attack, dudes," Katie said sarcastically, with a roll of her eyes. "Nothing at all to worry about." She eyed Fern knowingly.

Lana glanced at the hallway clock. "Well, we all agree that it's a big deal, even if some of us won't admit it. But we will all be late for class if we don't hurry up to get to our lockers."

Cody headed to his locker which was right next to Fern's.

Humphrey started walking to his locker and said hurriedly "Well, I guess I'll see you guys later then." HE went to his locker and got his books and other things for his next class and went there

Elizabeth smiled at Humphrey and said friendly "Okay. See you later Humphrey." She grabbed Fern's arm and started pulling her to her locker. She said "So what are you doing after school Fern? Do you want to come over for a sleepover?"

"I'll see you guys in a few," Katie said, walking to her locker and getting her things for the first class, which she shared with all her female friends.

Lana nodded at Katie, Humphrey, Fern, and Elizabeth in good-bye before heading over to her own locker.

"Yeah, sure. Sounds like fun," Fern said to Elizabeth. She spotted a new guy at his locker, which happened to be next to her own. "Do you know who that is?" she asked her friend. "I don't think I've seen him before."

Cody smiled while getting his books when he heard Fern noticing him.

Elizabeth shook her head and said "I have no idea who that is. He's knew to the school. That's all I know about him."

"Thats strange. I didn't know we were supposed to get any new students this year," Fern said, walking closer to her locker.

Elizabeth said "Yeah. I know but I think he's some sort of foreign exchange student or something like that though."

Cody finished getting his stuff for his next class and stood up. He closed his locker quietly, turned to look at Fern, smiled at her, and left for his first class which so happens to be the same class that Fern and all of her female friends have. He looked at the sitting chart and took his seat which was right next to Fern's.

OOC: You're on early. I'm glad. How long can you stay on though?

"Yeah, you're probably right..." Fern drifted off when she looked in the new kids direction and saw him smile at her before walking passed. "Well, I guess he's friendly," Fern said with confusion in her voice as she got her things out of her locker.

Ooc:// I;m not sure. I know I have to leave for a baseball game later.

Elizabeth got her stuff out of her locker and said when she came back "He's TO friendly if you ask me. It's kinda creepy."

OOC: Can you stay on until then?

Fern shook her head and rolled her eyes at Elizabeth. "He just smiled at me," she said. "Don't call him creepy until he starts stalking me or something."

Elizabeth giggled and stated "You like him don't you." She started walking to their class.
