History before the team and during/after: She was born in a litter of 2 with her sister Charla. Their mother was a very detached dog who didn’t mix well with others and held a lot of anger. Pester grew up worried for her mother but her first master’s friendliness rubbed off on her rather than her mother’s. She became close to her mother and would always try to cheer her up whenever she could. When she was eventually sold, she was trained as a sled dog and was put on a team. She enjoyed what she did and loved to win because it would mean her team and owner were happy. However, when she developed a crush on one of the wheeldogs things started to go downhill. She then meets Morning Glory, a female who lives with her brother, Hawthorn, and they become good friends. Pester confides her love of Mr.Wheeldog to her and Glory suddenly becomes distant. When Pester is rejected by Mr.Wheeldog, she goes to Glory who comforts her. Then Glory attacks the wheeldog which frightens Pester. Glory then tells her that she loves her. Startled by this, Pester then becomes the one who is distant, which upsets Glory. The wheeldog later approaches her again and apologises and Pester foolishly agrees to spend the night with him. In the morning she is rejected again and Mr.Wheeldog admits to using her. Pester attacks him in a rage and he retaliates and the musher kicks him off the team as he always caused problems. Pester then reconciled with Glory but found out she was pregnant. She falls into a depression at this, despite be accepted by Glory again and they become mates. She is then given to the rescue team (before the musher discovers she is pregnant) and she joins the team. She has her son, the only surviving pup, while as a member on the team.
Personality: Very friendly and playful, she is far from being like her parents or sister in that she willingly shows her heart of gold and doesn't let anyone stop her from being herself. She enjoys working and playing and visits her family even when it seems like they don't want to see her. She is almost always smiling and loves to help others and be there for them when they are down. She's somewhat like a personal little ray of sunshine for everyone who is friends with her.
Likes: Swimming, long walks, helping others, puppies, her parents and sister, her younger half-siblings, clear mornings, Glory
Dislikes: Not being able to stretch her legs, failing at her job, users
Advantages(skills): Good sense of smell, very fast, good endurance
Disadvantages: Smallish size means she is as physically strong as the others
Feelings about Fendlee: Doesn’t particularly like her but admires her desire to be heroic. She finds her to be a little annoying, which is strange considering Pester herself is very friendly. She doesn’t consider Fendlee a close friend but would stick up for her if she needed it and can hold a conversation with her.
Feelings about job: Loves to help people and enjoys that her job means making people happy. She wouldn’t give it up for anything.
How they came to have the job: Used to be on a race sled team but after the incident with Mr.Wheeldog she stopped working as well. Her owner decided she needed a bit of change and thought she’d be good for the rescue team because of her friendly, bright nature and loyal and determined demeanor.
