yes, i've read this book, and enjoyed it greatly. on the book cover, they said it was like watership down with deer (or something like that!) i'd recommend firebringer to fans of books such as watership down or redwall, and to readers who aren't intimidated by a thick book (the thicker the better!)

Yeah totally, i finished it in 3 days cause it was so engrossing. IMO Fire Bringer is better than the Sight I fell in love with the characters, while in the "The Sight" The only character I sympathized with was Kar. Also i though Firebringer was a very sad book, i felt the ending was sad too.

Its not like its a race to finish the book. Heck, i can read books in just a few days if i want. Sometimes though, books i read are too thick to finish within a few days for me. Eldest would be a perfect example.

If you were talking to me, I never said I raced, I said I finished it in 3 days cause it was so interesting I would just keep reading on and on.

Yep, Im reading it now. Took me so long because of a fine ive got at the library. Over 20 dollars so i can't check anything out until i pay that. My step brother was nice enough to check this out for me. Ive been reading it quite alot today. I had to wait in at the dentists office today. 2 different times too. Ugh, no need to go into detail what the condition of my mouth is though. lol, what can i say, ive got a weakness for Oreos.

Yay! Im almost on part 2 now. This author is great. Gunna have to check into 'The Sight' tomorrow. Im sure ive seen it up at the library before but i never looked at it.

I saw the Sight at the library and read it and liked it, so I bought Fire Bringer and read that to and liked it as well...

I've read both 'The Sight' and 'Firebringer', and I have to say I like The Sight better. #1, it was about wolves ( :) ) #2 It had characters I could relate to and sympathesize with, and #3 The ending is so sad, and yet so good. I almost cried when I finished The Sight the first time, and the second time I felt just as sad! It is so good! I hope I can write books that have as much emotional impact as David Clement Davies' someday.
My only complaint is that in both books there was a prophecy. Too many books have prophecies nowadays! At first it was cool, but now prophecies are just getting old. There's a prophecy in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Harry Potter, Twitches, and on and on and on...That's my only complaint.
'The Sight' is one of my favorite books!

Here's a summary:

A legend clings to the wolfs' frozen home - a story of man and wolf, of power and death. In this tale of wild wolves and supernatural powers, both Morga, the lone wolf cast out of her pack, and Larka, the young white wolf, possess The Sight, the ability to see into the minds of other living things.
If it sounds really weird, it's not! It's an awesome book! And it's Morgra, not Morga. That's a typo.
