Finally the bell sounded. Dorian quickly grabbed his bag off the ground, realizing that he hadn't even taken his book out for class to pretend to be paying attention. He didn't dwell on it too long. He needed to catch up with Fen before he left. He hurred across the room to where Fen had been sitting and said, "You mind if we have a little chat outside." He said this quietly, knowing the teacher's eye were on him.
Clair gently put her things back into her bag, taking her time to organize it. She swung it onto her shoulder before catching up with Maya. She hesitated at the doorway, watching Dorian and Fen carefully. "Lets wait outside for everyone," she said to Maya, nodding her head at Dorian and Fen. "It looks like discipline goes into affect today."
Jack had been out of the classroom before the bell stopped ringing. He stood outside of the doorway, leaning against a locker just outside the room. When Clair, Maya, and Laia came out, he went to join them. "Lets go get some good seats for the big show."
Griffin waited outside of the classroom for the rest of his pack to come out. While there, he tried to listen in on the Slatina's conversation. He heard the blond mention a show. What was he talking about? That was when he noticed neither Fen nor Dorian had come out yet. "Do you guys know what's taking Dorian so long?" he asked Alyss, Haley, and Hiro as the came out.
Haley shrugged at Griffin as she walked out of the classroom. She hadn't paid that much attention to what everyone else had been doing. "Maybe he left already?" she suggested.
Rina hurried out of the classroom, but glanced at Fen and Dorian. She wondered what was up with those two. She was so distracted that when she turned her head to look where she was walking, she slammed into the back of Maya and landed on the ground. She gathered her bag and was standing up a minute later, but her cheeks her bright pink with embarrassment. "Sorry about that," she said quietly.
Rose shoved her books into her bag and got up to leave, but she noticed Dorian and Fen at the front of the room. She stopped in her tracks and froze in her spot, staring at the two again when a puzzled look on her face.

Fen just shook his head slightly, not even bothering to answer in words, like usual. He picked up his bags, and slung them over his shoulder, standing up. Without a word, he walked out the door, stopping in the hallway.
"This is going to be interesting," Maya murmured to Clair, looking once more at Dorian and Fen before walking out with her. Jack was waiting outside, and he spoke when they came out.
"Lets go get some good seats for the big show."
"Alright," Maya grinned.
Laia, as normal, replied in a soft voice. "Do you think they will start fighting?"
"He's talking to Fen," Alyss said dismissivly. "I bet there's going to be a fight," she added, sounding a but more interested in that prospect.
"Probably," Hiro said, agreeing with Alyss. He shifted his bags on his shoulder, wondering why there had to be so many books inside. Wasn't one enough?
"Someone have a crush?" Aaron teased, walking up to Rose. He knew she didn't, but it would be enjoyable watching her reaction to those words.
"Knock it off, Aaron," Katherine said, before walking out the door. She gave him a friendly nudge before heading to her locker. With a sigh of relief, she shoved everything inside, slamming the door shut. A metallic clang followed, but she ignored the loud sound, relieved to have the weight of the overburdnened bag off of her shoulder.
Maya felt someone slam into her, and she found herself on the ground, breathless and slightly confused. She looked behind her to see Rina behind her. "It's fine," she said, struggling to stand up.
Laia offered her hand, and Maya took it. She pulled, but not being the strongest, had to lean backwards to get her in a standing position.
"Thanks, Laia," Maya said, wiping off the dirt that surely remanined on her pants.

Dorian sighed at Fen as he walked away. "Was that a no or a yes?" he mumbled to himself, Fen already out the door and unable to hear. Dorian rolled his eyes before walking out in the hallway, making his way to where Fen had stopped.
Clair through Rina a glare before turning her back on her and continuing the conversation. "Even if they do, Dorian will take out that mutt in a second."
Jack shook his head at Clair's rudeness. He turned to Rina and said, "Just remember that looking always helps one walk straight," he said with a smirk to show he was just teasing.
Rina smiled at Jack's kindness before nodding her head in shy acceptance of his advice. She carefully walked around the Slatina group to the end of the hallway where her locker was.
"A fight?" Griffin asked with concern just as Fen came outside of the classroom. Griffin immediately quieted as the two passed them. "No way. Fen knows better than to get into a fight here, right?"
Haley shrugged, a michevious grin spreading on her face."You never know with those two. We've all been waiting for the tension to finally break."
"What?" Rose asked, caught by surprise. "Oh, no, of course not," she said hurriedly so it didn't sound much like the truth. She wasn't really sure she felt anymore than intrigued by them. She quickly followed Kat to their lockers before Fen and Dorian came out of the classroom.

"I heard something about a fight," Katherine said, turning to face Rode better. "Do you think it's between Fen and Dorian?" Even as she spoke the question, she realized how obvious the answer was. But there was no use trying to take back words that had already been said, so she just waited for the answer.
"Probably," Maya agreed. Even if Fen was slightly stronger and bigger, Dorian and more anger, and was most likely smarter, just due to the fact Fen never talked. Or at least, not that Maya had ever heard.
No one answered me, Laia thought, knowing if she said it outloud people would think she was petty, and would make people shoot an odd glance her way, like she was mentally ill or something. She hated it, so had reverted to normaly speaking her replies inside her head, where whataver she said was safe.
"A moment that might happen soon," Alyss said, turning. "Looks like Dorian may began the fight early."
"Why would he do it in the middle of a hallway? Why not outside, or something?" Hiro wondered aloud. Yet he still turned to look at where ALyss was pointing. Sure enough, Dorian was making his wya towards Fen, who stood tall and silent, as usual.
Aaron had ignored Kat, and just grinned wider. He walked out of the room a second before they did, and was busy stuffing things into his locker. He had closed the door when he heard the word, "Look."
Thinking someone was speaking to him, he turned, finding nobody looking at him. But he did see Dorian walking quickly towards Fen. This'll be interesting, he thought.

Dorian didn't stop by Fen, but brushed by him, all the while staring at him with a challenge in his eyes that was very animalistic. As soon as he passed by the tall alpha son, Dorian turned his head and growled a quiet and quick, "Outside." Most humans probably would not have noticed the exchange. Dorian didn't hesitate in his walk and continued out the doors and around the back of school to the practice football field.
Clair watched Dorian pass Fen with a concentration that was unlike her. As soon as Dorian was out the door, Clair tugged at Maya's sleeve, trying to led the group to the back doors. "He's going to the football field, I know it."
Jack rolled his eyes at Clair's eagerness. She always had to be in Dorian's sight. It was actually quite annoying. Still, he wanted to be there if there was going to fight. He was about to follow Clair and Maya when he turned back to Laia. "Oh, and, yes. I do think they're gonna fight." He gave her a knowing smile before walking towards the back door.
Rina watched Dorian and Fen's small exchange from the corner of her eyes as she packed her bag. There was hardly anyone in the hallways anymore. And there wasn't going to be many outside either. There was definately going to be a fight today. Rina packed her bag a little slower, debating whether she was a part of this dispute or not.
"It looks like he's planning on outside," Griffin said to Hiro. "Wonder where he's going?" he muttered as Dorian walked outside.
Haley smirked at the whole situation. "Even if Griffin gets into a fight, there's no way he can win. They're all bound by pack courtesy or whatever to have a fair fight between only the top dogs. If he thinks we all aren't getting involved in this, he's crazy."
Rose nodded her head, to concentrated on the two Kat was speaking about to really pay much attention. "Do you think maybe we should find out more about this fight?" she asked.

Fen didn't reply further than a fractional dip of his head. As Dorian walked out the doors, Fen put his books away. He followed the way Dorian had left, his pace slow and steady, unlike the other werewolf's quicker steps.
Maya shook off Clair's grip gently. "How would you know that, Clair?" she asked, cocking her head. Her eyes were narrowed fractionally in mild confusion.
Laia shivered as she closed her eyes briefly, picturing blood and imagining the pain. She opened them, her face a shade paler. It wasn't noticable unless you looked closely. But Laia's dry mouth was certainly noticeable to her.
Alyss nodded her agreement. "Are we going to follow them?" Already, a few students were walking towards the doors, apparently excited at the possibility of a fight.
"We'll find out if we follow him," Hiro said, his tone making the answer sound as if it would be obvious to even an idiot. He had to bite his tongue to refrain from adding, 'Duh.'
"I guess we could ask aound. Or we could just follow them," Kat said, somehow gesturing to Fen, and the leaving Dorian at the same time as the students beginning to follow.
Aaron joined in Kat and Rose's comversation. "I heard about a fight to," he put in. A grin was evident on his face. "I bet it'll be awesome, too," he added.

Dorian tried to slow his quick pace as he made his way to the field. He knew that Fen would take his time coming down just to test Dorian's limited patience. But the anger was coursing through Dorian's body like blood flowed through his viens, and his long strides were the only things keeping his mind slightly focused. When he finally made it into the field he continued his walk around the perimeter, on the verge of a run.
Clair sighed as Maya stopped her. "Where else would he be going? The parking lot is too filled with people. Besides, the field is concealed behind the school and is near enough to the woods that if things get out of hand..." Clair didn't feel the need to finished the sentece. Any werewolf knew that if things got really heated between two high ranking wolves that the claws and fangs would come out. No human could ever see two werewolves fight or else the secret would be hard to keep after that sight.
Jack nodded, agreeing with Clair. "Surprisingly, coming from Clair, that makes sense." He ignored the glare that she sent him to turn to make sure that Laia was keeping up with them. She looked a shade paler and scared to death. "Are you okay?" he asked with an eyebrow cocked. "You look like you're gonna pass out."
Rina swung her bag over her shoulder and headed out the front doors of the school. She headed the opposite direction as Fen and Dorian, walking around the other side of the building. It was the longer way to the field, but Rina wanted to be there when it was too late for her to be part of the actual fight.
"Yeah, we're gonna follow them," Griffin said, ignoring Hiro purposely. He headed toward the front doors, throwing his books into his locker without putting them anywhere specific on his way.
Haley set her books down on the ground, not even bothering to put them in her locker as Griffin had. She was too excited and anxious about the fight to care about school work.
Rose shot Aaron a stern look. "How can you say that any fight will be awesome?" she asked him. "What if someone gets hurt?"

The field was in view, and he could hear the buzz of students behind him. Fen's mouth twitched in a shadow of a smile as he saw how impatient the younger werewolf was. Dorian was pacing around the field, and even from this distance, Fen could tell his cheeks were flushed with anger.
"And thank you for maing me feel stupid," Maya muttered, inaudible to anyone but herself. Raising her voice to a volume they could hear her at, she changed her attitude to a better one. "You're right," she agreed, dipping her head fractionally in a small nod.
"I-I'm fine," Laia saif softly, her voice almost a whisper. "I just don't like fights." She seemed to go a shade paler at even the word. She could picture blood, bruises...she shivered. She struggled to swallow through her dry mouth.
"We should hurry then," Alys said. "Fen left the building a few minutes ago." She didn't want to miss the fight, the thought made her palms get damp. She wiped them on her jeans.
Hiro could tell Griffin was ignoring him, and couldn't help but roll his eyes a little. "If you guys aren't following them, like, right now, then I'm gonna leave by myself. I don't want to miss out on the action."
"THat would make it better!" Aaron said ecstatically. A sharp glare from Kat made him speak again. "Oh come on, I doubt anyone will get hurt real bad," he said. "Even if they do, there is a nurse you know."
Katherine elbowed him hard, ignoring his protest. "If you don't want to watch, I'll walk home with you," she offered. Personally, she really didn't care. She didn't even know either of them, Fen or Dorian. The whole thing was pointless really.

Dorian glanced up at the path to the field, wondering what was taking Fen so dang long. But Dorian spotted the Avalon wolf walking calmly to the field, as slow as he could possibly walk. And behind him, more than a doezen humans coming to see the show. Dorian growled in irritation. How was he suppose to get his point across with a bunch of humans looking on?
Clair nodded, now nearly draggin Maya down the hall in her hurry to get to the field.
Jack put an arm around Laia, walking with her down the hall as Clair, with Maya in two, disappeared out the doors. "Don't worry. We won't be doing any of the fighting. This is between Dorian and Fen. And I doubt there will be any real fighting," Jack lied, pretty convincingly seeing as it was so obviously false.
Rina stopped when the field was within sight, but no one would be able to see her from the distance. There was someone pacing in the field. Dorina, she assumed, but she couldn't tell for sure. But Rina could tell that a big crowd was headed for the field. Amazing how a fight could bring a bigger crowd than a football. What entertained humans was sickening.
Griffin nodded, agreeing with Hiro for once. He ran down the hall at full speed, only stopping to open the door open for the rest of them.
Haley ran after Griffin, not pausing to wait for him after she was out the door. She quickly made her way to the back of school and spotted Dorian pacing the field and Fen approaching the field.
Rose rolled her eyes and sighed at annoyance, though not shock, at Aaron. "No, no, I want to stay," she said to Kat. Just because she didn't want them to fight didn't mean she didn't want to miss the outcome if they did. "But I have a feeling we're running a little late." She nodded out the nearly empty hallway, the last people being Jack and Laia and they were almost out the door.

Fen secretly hoped Dorian's agitation was growing. He knew, though not from experience, an agitated lycan would do worse in a fight than one with a clear head. A small smile formed on his face as he pictured the outcome in his mind. Soon, he was at the edge of the field, pausing briefly before approaching.
"Let go, Clair!" Maya protested, pulling herself away from her clearly excited friend. "I can keep up without you dragging me!" She rubbed her arm where Clair had grabbed her as she ran.
"I hope not," Laia murmured, though she wasn't convinced. She was trembling ever so slightly, and silently hoped that Jack didn't notice. The were practically the only ones left, excluding the three humans that still remained inside.
Alyss ran, her blonde hair flying out behind her as she sped towards the field. She was glad of her long legs as she soon skidded to a halt, trying to find a position with a good view.
Hiro, being the competitive person he was, was basically racing Griffin to the field, panting lightly as he put all of his energy down into his legs, propelling himself forward at a quick pace.
"I guess we should hurry if we want to see it," Katherine agreed.
"I'll race you there, then," Aaron said hopefully, the sentence almost a question.
"We're not going to race, moron," Kat grinned, rolling her eyes teasingly.

Dorian took a few deep breaths and calmed himself enough to stand still as Fen came towards him. Dorian's foot still tapped impatiently, but he no longer felt the urge to lunge at Fen. "Took you long enough," he said in a voice more even than even Dorian thought he was capable at that moment. "Thanks for brining the crowd."Clair huffed in annoyance at Maya's irritation. "Than hurry up," she said, even though Maya was having no problem keeping up with Clair. She turned her attention back to the field ahead. "Look, Fen's there already! We better not miss any of this."Jack was at a lost of any more comforting words. He normally wasn't one to lie or sugarcoat the truth, but Laia was already trembling at the idea of a fight. He didn't have the heart to tell her that there definately was going to be a fight that day. He held the door open for her was they came to the end of the hall.
Griffin ran after Hiro, quickly coming up on his heels. They were pretty evenly matched in a race with Griffin's sheer strength and Hiro's tall, lanky legs that gave them each on advatage on the others. Griffin slowed his pace when the reached the crowd that was forming around the field. Griffin tried to be as polite as possible as he moved through the bodies.Haley wasn't wasting time with courtesy. She shoved passed all the humans fascinated with Fen and Dorian, some already exchanging bets on who would win. She wondered if they even expected the rest of the Avalon pack to get involved, because she was sure that none of them would hang back if Dorian tried something.Rose nodded her agreement with Kat. "But we should hurry," she said, not quite running but jogging to the door. When she opened it and spotted the field, she also saw all the people there. "Don't they have anything better than to with their time?" she asked in annoyance. For some reason, she felt like none of them should be there besides her, Kat, and Aaron. It was an odd feeling of belonging to the fight, but it was one that she couldn't helf feeling.Rina walked around to the opposite end of the field where nobody was standing around. She couldn't hear or see as well from the distance, but it was safer being farther away. She sat herself down under the old wooden bleachers, concentrating on catching any part of the conversation between Dorian and Fen.

"It wasn't me who brought them," Fen replied, voice slow and deep as normal.
"I'm running right beside you, Clair!" Maya pointed out. She soon skidded to a halt. "Can you see a good spot to stand?" she asked, standing on tip-toes to get a better view.
Eventually, they did reach the field, though they were walking slowly. "You go and find Clair and Maya. I think I'll stay near the back of the crowd," Laia said softly, her voice not quite so shaky as she truggled to calm down.
Alyss eventually stood near the edge of the crowd, closer to the front than some. However, she still had to stand on her toes to see properly.
Hiro didn't bother with being polite. He shoved his way through, ignoring protests and harsh words as she stood in the front of the crowd. Obviously, it would have the best view of the fight.
Aaron whistled. "That's alot of people," he said, impressed. "If I get in a fight, do you think there would be a crowd that big?"
Kat elbowed him again. "Oh, shut up, Aaron," she said. "No one would pick a fight with you."
"Hey, you never know. It could happen," Aaron said with a shrug.

"Well, it sure wasn't me," Dorian, crossing his arms tight around his chest as he tried to keep his cool facade on place. "I was actually planning on a more private affair, surprisingly."
"Yeah," Clair said, making her way through the crowd. "Right up front." Her thin frame made it easy for her to slid herself through the crowd and make a spot for herself in front of all of them. She glanced over at a tall, brunnette who she recognized as an Avalon wolf. His name was something weird and started with the letter 'H.' But that wasn't really important at the moment. She tried her best to ignore the Bitten as well as she could.
Okay, only if you're sure your gonna be alright," Jack said, really wanting to go join Maya and Clair, but a little hesitant to leave Laia in her shaky condition. He was already a few steps closer to the crowd, ready to run through them when Laia gave the okay.
Griffin became satisfied with a spot near in the middle when he saw the blond head of Alyss up ahead a few feet. He shoved his way to her, a little less politely than before. "Hey," he said when he came up beside her. "Did I miss anything yet?" It didn't look like Fen and Dorian had done anything more than talk so far, but Griffin wanted to make sure.
Haley emerged from the crowd next to Hiro. "I didn't know that Fen and Dorian were so popular," she said lightly.
"Doubt it," Rose said, though she was distracted as she tried to find a spot for the three of them to stand. "Who has a problem with you?"

"I guess they don't have lives, then," Fen said. "Shall we began?" he asked, after a moment of silence. Tension and excitement were obvious emotions in the air and in the crowd.
Maya barely managed to squeeze her way through the crowd. However, she was soon standing slightly behind Clair, wishing hshe had her thin frame. Her wistful thoughts turne dto slight disgust and surprise as she saw the Avalon wolf standing next to her friend. Sloppy, stupid Avalons, she thought, shooting a small glare his way. Her gaze soon turned to the two on the field though.
"I'll be fine," Laia said, moving towards the back of the shockingly large crowd. From this position, she could barely see, and she could slip away easily if the situation called for it.
"Oh, hey Griffin!" Alyss greeted. "No, they haven't started yet. I think they will any second now, though," she added, her tone taking a more excited turn.
"It's the fighting that's popular," Hiro replied quickly, his gaze not straying from the two lycans on the field. He was so absorbed in it that he didn't notice the Slatina werewolf beside him, or her friend who was shooting daggers at him.
"It's more of a question of who would fight a scrawny boy who acts tough but's a big teddy bear at heart," Katherine grinned.
"Oh, come on, Kay!" Aaron protested. "I'm not scrawny."
"If you say so," Katherine said, her voice lilting and teasing. It was normal banter between the two of them, no harm usually came from the teasing comments.

"I didn't come here to fight," Dorian said in with a growl that greatly conflicted with his words. "I just came to warn you that there will be consequences if you and your... friends don't clean up your act." Dorian reframed from saying 'pack' in front of all these humans.
Clair concentrated on the quiet talking between Fen and a Dorian that she knew most these humans couldn't make out. But she still couldn't help standing up a little straighter and tilting her chin up to show her superiority to the two Avalons. She even took a step to stand farther up than the two wolves.
Haley nodded in agreement to Hiro before noticing the blonde Slatine took a step a head of them. She growled loud enough to turn some heads as she glared at the blond. "Who do you think you are?" she asked threateningly.
Jack nodded at Laia and walked through the crowd, knowing that Clair probably dragged Maya all the way to the front. Being tall, he could see over the heads of the crowd and spotted trouble brewing up front. He wondered what Clair did to get the Avalon girl all revved up. He was about to just go in other direction, but decided that he should probably stop a fight if it was going to happen.
Griffin nodded grimly, not at all excited about this fight. "Don't you hold any hope that they'll just talk it out?" he asked Alyss.
"Maybe, but you don't have their bodies," Rose said, nodding to Dorian and Fen who were both tall and well-built. Which got her to thinking who would win in a fight. She listened in on a few of the bets that were taking place, and they both seemed to have equal supporters.
