Taz had been asleep in the backyard, still tethered to the fence, when the thunder woke him up. He looked up at the sky and yawned. "Great... Rain..." he growled lowly, standing up and stretching. He went into the plastic home that his owner's had set up, a rounded top home for him. He lay down, careful of his rope, then laid his head on his paws, trying to go back to sleep as he heard more thunder.

Storm yelped a little bit being startled by his friend Rocco. "He watch it" he ordered still half asleep as he rold over onto his other side so he wasn't facing the discruntal mutt, as he shut his eyes once again and just like that he was back asleep. Even though the rain was coming down in sheets he was lucky enough to have been situated under an old awning that was still in pretty good shape, no holes or anything wrong with it. A few drips hit his paw but he was fine with the rhythm of the drips and soon was back into his sub-conscous mind and was back in dream land.

"Ooop sorr----" Before Rocco could finish his statement Storm slipped off into sleep again. He too tried to fall backs asleep but it was to no avail since he wasn't lucky enough to have been under the awning tonight. He was able to manage to get half of his large body under it but that was all. Nothing more as the other half of his body got drenched during the downpour. As the lightening lit up the midnight sky.

Alli trudged onwards. She walked by a puddle, and slipped in it, becuase it caught her off guard. She grumbled at getting even more wet, an got up, trying to shake the mud and water from her somewhat dirty, yet somehow clean coat. She panted as she started to race down the alley, seeking shlter, fast. She saw a awning, but it had two dogs under it. So she raced on. Her paws hit the dirty pavement, hard enough to be heard. She dashed quickly, though. She stopped for a minute, gaspin for breath, wondering if she should turn back or not.

The dog was taken aback, and yelped, "Ummm, maybe?" she squeakd out, and realized she did, then she deepeneed her tone, and spoke calmer.
"yeah, do you have somehwere I can stay?" she asked.

Crash acted as if he wasn't surprised by Shadow talking. "Sure do! There's a roof over there in the alley!" He shook his fur.

Ooc:// Thanks for waiting! My interenent went down for the weekend, but I didn't think I would miss much. I guess I was wrong XD

Bic:// Karma sighed heavily as the rain began to pour and the lightening lit up the sky. The disadvantages of having thick fur were apparant in storms like these. Her stumbling steps were weighed down with the extra weight of her wet fur. She tried shaking it off, but to no avail. It was slowly becoming misty and hard to see because of the down pour, but Karma thought she saw some kind of shelter in an alley. She ran to it as quickly as possible, and gasped when she could see that there was already two males in there, one of them very large. "I'm sorry," she stuttered, not sure what else to say.

Buck trudged through the rain, looking behind his shoulder every couple of steps to make sure that Max was still following behind. He wanted to get the pup to someplace dryer that out in the open.

Max concentrated on putting one foot in front of the other. With the rain, Max couldn't make out Buck anymore than a big black shadow. He hoped that his gaurdian would find some kind of shelter soon.

"oh, o...ok..." Alli shivered, "may i join you tree for the night?" she asked, cautiously. She shook her fur again, slightly. is it dryer than out here?" she questioned.

"Don't worry I wasn't asleep" Rocco said with his head positioned under the awning and that was about it. He didn't really bother to roll over to see who it was, eventhough it was an unfamiliar voice to him. "If you want to get under this awning good luck. The one who's under fully won't budge."
