It's just a movie. But he didn't directly fall, he hit rocks with made him lose momentum.

Land Before Time and Pebble and the Penguin . Steele is soooo lucky he lived, he is a statistical anomaly. The writers for children's films are really homicidal maniacs who just relish throwing characters to their dooms.

Though it's ironic you should bring that up. And I do think that they should think of a more unique death. They probably use the 'falling to their dooms' death for it's not gore-y and they can still get the point across that they're done for.

And in LBT, though t-rex did fall once, he survived. Second time he drowned.

The Road to El Dorado also has a falling villain that survives, now that I think about it. Maybe Disney is just a more blood-thirsty company that wants to kill all evil? :9

He's shown alive in everything else, not that I believe the sequels are canon of anything. Cactus wrote: The Great Mouse Dectective A rat fell off the London tower which is a 384 ft drop. So that's equivalent to Steele falling about.....20 times the height he fell, minus the branches and stuff there to break his fall. Cactus wrote: Beauty and the Beast Gaston fell off a huge castle to land in a river, with rocks and probably a 5 foot depth xD Cactus wrote: the Hunchback of Notre Dame Frollo fell about 200 ft onto pavement. Not only pavement, but burning hot liquid xD Cactus wrote: Atlantis Yea, he exploded, among other things. Cactus wrote: Rescuers Down Under McLeech fell down a friggen waterfall, which was also hundreds of feet high, and besides that he probably drown and had even more water smashed on top of him xD Cactus wrote: Steele is soooo lucky he lived, he is a statistical anomaly. In conclusion, sorry but Steele's fall was no where near as lethal as the other villains'. And the whole point of the villain dying in these movies is "you get what you deserve" by karma or whatever. So yea. Sorry to burst your bubble, but not really

Aaaa you're right! Sorry, I meant Sleeping Beauty. The princess films all just run together in my tiny brain. ;_; All those blondies with polite, gracious attitudes confuse me.

Well five year olds don't exactly know physics or the thousands of ways a person can or can't die xDDD Just the same, the fact that he didn't die makes it all the more interesting. He's a bad guy who lived, and its awesome.

Definitely. I love Steele and I love that he wasn't killed Disney fashion... he just got slapped in the face and a door shut on him, haha.
And then he was never seen or spoken of again! haha.
