I get teased because I love vampires and werewolves and I am the only scene kid at school. Its awful. They even teased me because I told them one of my kittens died.

Lawl I've been teased for my hair, but most recently of my family. (Part of my family is German) so they tease me about that.

how do they tease u about ur family?? whats wrong with Germans??

I use to get teased, and pushed around quite a bit when I was younger, mostly by kids that lived in my neighborhood. I'm a very quit easy-going person, my guess is, that those kids took that as a weakness. Eventually I got fed up with the threats of being beaten to a pulp, and my dad taught me how to fight. I never had to fight any of those kids , because they knew that if they messed with me they would be the ones hurting. That was a long time ago, I'm 19 now and I could really care less what people think, and I think thats the key to not being pushed around.

I hope I'm not bumping an old topic or anything, because I feel this is pretty important.


because they know you've been hurt, that;s why. They WANT to drag you down and make you feel like dirt, and hurt you and all that crap, just so THEY can feel more powerful and bring themselves up. I'd wager that they have stuff going on inside them. Many bullies bully others simply because they feel insecure themselves.


One step to preventing bullying, is to look confident and strong (not neccesarily physically)
Always have friends around, Bullies are more likely to target you when you're alone.

This isn't professional advice- but from my experiences, this is what I have found out.

and in conclusion, bullying hurts. I'm the "new kid" at school this year, I'm older then I look, but everybody automatically assumes that I'm a stereotypical "stupid little freshman." -.-
This is because I get confused about certain things easily, and have some hearing problems, and when I'm suprised, nervous or scared, I freeze up and can't respond.
The school is about as large as L.A <.< and Im always wandering around, feeling lost and stressed because of the heavy workload. I do have people I sit with at lunch, but I have been ditched and replaced several times, they aren't true friends, just people I hang out with so I don't feel so alone. Now, I do have some good buddies, an older (senior) girl who actually was nice to me, a talkative girl in my first period, and a friend from English.

Everyone, keep in mind that bullies come in all forms, not just other students, but adults- even teachers.
I've been bullied and humiluated in front of the class by a teacher, while everyone just stared at me like I was some sort of idiot, it hurt me a lot, i was at the point of tears, but after school, I tearfully told my mom about it and she helped me take action to stop it. Nothing has happened since, thank God, but the students will never change xD

The trick is to think about the reasons they tease you for something you love, and wonder if they feel the need to tease they must not feel very good about themselves, be proud of yourself for showing the love you feel towards something even threw the teasing, it shows great character, heart and passion and in this world its hard to find those which you can feel that towards, so most hide it and tease others to make themselves feel better, but you don't, you continue to show your love threw all there crap and to me thats something to be proud of and feel good about, makes you different from them and they don't realise what there missing^^ In the end there the ones who really feel like crap while you thrive and they continue to cower away behing a mask of hurtful insults and unwanted teasing. *huggles*^^
