Maya smiled as the warm, if humid, breeze washed over her. It had been a while since her bruised face had made the effort to grin, and it made her feel light and happy for once. The grin hurt her bruises, but she ignored the pain, somthing she had learned to do a long time ago. Her grin immediatly faded as she heard the door slam, meaning her father had returned home. Fear jolted throught her. Her father was bad news. He was also early, which meant he had had a bad day at work.

Maya's blue eyes looked around for a place to escape too. She quickly climbed up a nearby tree. Incase any of her siblings where also outside, she called out a warning. "He's home!" Her voice echoed around the lawn for a few seconds before fading, leaving obvious dread and silence in it's wake. She clung to her branch, the bark imprinting her skin with it's whorling patterns. She found herself fervently glad she was outside as she saw her father's figure through the window. He was drinking again, most likely something strong.

OOC: So is the setting before they're sent to the experiments? If not, I'll edit my post

Seth stood in the darkness of an alley, waiting for the right moment to leave. He finally saw an opportunity to walk out, when none of the cops were around. He walked out into the sunlight, which made his blonde hair shine even brighter. His ice blue eyes focused on any police cars around him. He finally pulled his hoodie over his head, in order to disguise himself. He then began to walk down the sidewalk, praying that the fuzz wouldn't notice him.

It's the setting before they are experiments.

Seth kept walking down the street, noticing the cops weren't around the area much. That seemed odd because the only reason he was forced to sleep in the alley in the first place was to hide from the cops. But he shrugged it off and kept walking, unknowing of the "surprise" he was soon to get.

We need Paws to post before anyone else does again.

And Husky, their dad is home. He would have realized that as soon as she called it out, and then, somthing bad would've happened.

And I really don't mean to nag at all, I just forgot to add this, They don't have a mom. I'm going to edit my first post with that information, and do you mind editing your post?

[Sorry, I didn't know they were all siblings. I'll edit my post. Maybe I missed something or forgot something.]

OOC: So is Seth a sibling too? Because if he is, it could be that he couldn't take the father (abusive parent from his history) and ran away while he wasn't home, although he vaguely remembers his siblings since he was so young

Seth continued walking down the street when a weird thought occured to him. Should I visit my family? he asked himself. He wasn't sure why, but somehow, he had a feeling he need to see his siblings. He turned around and ran across the street, remembering vaguely where his previous home was. He didn't know the address, but he knew the area.

Soon he arrived there, being careful not to be seen by his horrible father. He went around the back, and saw one of his siblings in a tree, Maya. The other was on the grass, Bridget. He waved to them, making sure they recognized him.
