Kenta yawned awake, and looked at her brother, Zuri. "Wake up!" She cheerfully said.
Zuri blinked his eyes open and yawned. "Huh....? Oh, morning Kenta." He murdered, and yawned again.

Kiara heard the rustle of her cubs awaking and smiled while padding into the cave. "Good morning you too!" She said staring down at the two cubs.
Kovu walked into the cave and smiled at his mate and cubs. he noticed Vitani still asleep and went to awaken her.

Kenta looked up at Kiara. "Morning, mom!" She exclaimed happily. "Zuri was sleeping in again." She giggled, looking at him.
Zuri rolled his eyes. "Can we go hunting today?" He asked cheerfully. "I'm bored to death, sitting here, playing with Kenta all day. I want some other friends!" He exclaimed.
Kenta glowered at Zuri.

Vitani woke up and got to her feet swiftly. "Hey now don't fight." she said in a motherly way. she loved the two cubs as if they were her own... sometimes she would even pretend with the leaving of Kopa no longer did Vatani have a mate... maybe one day he would return... she quickly got off that subject because if brought to her attention depression would set in she focused on the wonderful new kingdom that her brother and his mate reigned over

Zuri nodded, and stood up, bolting out to the entrence to the small cave. He looked over the Pride Lands.

Kiara like her cubs on the heads when she walked to the mouth of the cave. "You to can go and play but, be careful." She said giggling at herself for sounding like her father.
Kovu nuzzled Kiara. "Stay away from the crocodiles!" He warned as they ran off into the savanna.

Kenta walked bolted away from Pride Rock with Zuri beside her. "Why couldn't there be any other cubs?" She asked her brother.
Zuri shrugged "Dunno." He answered.

Kiara watched her cubs play in the grasses. She sighed.
Kovu walked out, "What is it?" He asked looking at her. She looked him in the eye.
"I remember when we were cubs, but then that was a hard time in the pride... I just hope the cubs don't have to go through what we went through." She said quietly.

Kovu nodded agreeing with Kiara. "And don't call your brother a whiner Kenta." He said looking at the cub.
