Lucy limped back the next night, and layed in the feilds. The sheep started bleeting loudly again, but she wasn't attacking. She layed there, Pain surrounding her, worrying for her dog. MY male.. I miss him...She thougt. She howled painfully into the sky, hoping to catch his attention, but received nothing. Se longed for his company, but could not retreive it. Where are you? Soon, she heard russling in the bushes near her, and Lucas popped out.
" There you are! You've been here for a day now! Common!" Lucas circled her.
"He's not coming back sis! Now, let's go!!!" Lucas begged, but Lucy stayed where she was. He murmered something about suiting herself, and frogs, but she didn't catch it all. So, Lucy lay her head back down. But suddenly, she heard the steady thump of his paws on the land. She howled again.

Aranos coudn't of course hear Lucy's howl, because he was now inside the house, but that didn't mean she wasn't in his mind. No, for all that night he couldn't stop thinking about her, and he couldn't help worrying about her when he heard the gunshot.
"I hope she's not dead... I want to see her again" Aranos said to himself quietly in his mind, right before closing his eyes and falling asleep. But that night he kept dreaming about that wolf... Lucy.

The next morning, the sheeps were being herded again, and then one trampled Lucy. She let out a feirce growl, and yanked the sheep's leg clean off. It bleeted in pain and agony as Lucy devoured it, and then she wobbled up. She had lost too much blood, and she wobbled to the house. Lucy lay down under the porch hopefully out of sight, tying to wash off the dryed blood from her coat.
" No use.." She said to herself. She wimpered and wished Lucas or the Dog was here, to help. Or at least to kill her and get it over with. She wanted to see him again, but thought he didn't feel the same. SHe fell asleep into her dreams of the tan dog. Her dream was the 2 of them running in a medow followed by 2 little puppies. Gray and tan, and tan and gray little tail waggers. She beleived they were hers, until the pleasent dream turned into a nightmare. Thunder rumbled in the sky, and Lucy was running, she had seen a body laying in the dirt. She rushed over to find it was the tan dog laying in the mud, ripped apart, with her beautiful puppies' broken bodies in her mouth. Thunder rumbled again, and Lucy woke up. Gasping for breath, she lay down her head again, but not to sleep, to think.

Aranos slowly opened his eyes, letting out a big yawn and streched his legs, then he slowly got himself to sit dow.
"Well it's about time you woke up, you sleepy head" his mother said smiling as she walked up to him, and Aranos turned his head towards her.
"Morning, mom" he said with a tired smile on his face, and yawned again. Then he rose up to his feet, and walked up to the window, and looked outside. He still couldn't get that female wolf out of his mind, and especially her beautiful, golden yellow eyes.
"I wonder what happened to her..." Aranos mumbled quietly to himself, and pinned his ears down with a dreamy and also worried look on his face.
"To who?" his mother asked, and was suddenly behind him. Aranos quickly perked his ears up, and turned towards his mother with a surprised look on his face.
"Umm... uh, no one, I just... nothing. I'm going to see the sheep" he said quickly, jumped down from the window, and then ran outside from the door.

Lucy Wimpered again. A fox cub had started knawing on her leg again, he just wouldn't leave! She barked and growled at him, and he ran away. Then she hard someone trot down the porch and the steps, and walk towards the sheeps. Howled at the fox again when he came back. GO AWAY YOU MISERABLE CREATURE!! Lucy thought. Finally she swirved around and bit down on the fox's neck and it ran off for good, and Lucy lay her head down again. Maybe, he won't find me again... She thought misreably. Lucy sighed, and tried to go to sleep, but the stupid sheeps would be quiet.

Aranos walked up to the sheep fence, and sat down to look at them for a while.
"Don't mind me, guys. Just keep resting" he said to them with a reassuring and comforting tone in his voice, and smiled at them. He knew they couldn't understand him, but at least they could tell by the tone in his voice that there was nothing to worry about. Aranos looked around him, but suddenly a scent came into his nose. A wolf's scent. Aranos raised his head, with his ears perked straight up, and rose up to his feet. He started following the scent, and soon, he found Lucy laying in the ground, looking like she was in pain.
"You??!" Aranos gasped, with a surprised yet also reliefed look on his face.

Lucy gasped, as she heard a familiar soothing male voice. She lifted her head, and was shocked to see him standing not 5 feet away. She wimpered, and lay back down, trying to not start a conflict.
" Please... I don't want to fight..." Lucy wimpered, almost gasped again. her leg fire was growing. The fire was burning her away, she just wanted to die. The cold dirt under the house was comforting to her, a good place to die, under the house of her crush. I love you She thought, knowing her couldn't hear her.

Aranos clearly saw Lucy was in pain, so he slowly walked closer to her.
"It's okay, I'm not going to fight" he said with a calm voice, and walked up to her carefully.
"Uhh.. Are you okay?" Aranos then asked her, though it was pretty obvious she wasn't, since she was panting so hard and said she didn't want to fight with him. And he didn't want to fight, either.

She didn't answer, she couldn't think straight over her loud panting. She tried to stand, but couldn't hold up her weight. She fell to the ground once more, and wimpered. She lay her head down flat, ad looked at him, with her golden eyes.
"I'm sorry for hunting your Sheeps sir" Lucy replied politley, "I will not do it again. I was simply starving, and the elk herd migrated for the winter. My brother and i are not like other wolves. Please, trust me, i hate killing other canines. I understand you were frightened, do you have a bad past with us?"

Aranos pinned his ears down, he wasn't quite sure what to say.
"That's.. that's all right, I understand you were only doing to stay alive" he said, but when she asked him about having a abad past with wolves, he went very quiet, and turned away from Lucy, looking at the ground.
"I... actually I do. A group of wolves killed my father, when I was a little pup" Aranos said quietly, with a sad tone in his voice.

Lucy's Head snapped up.
" I'm sorry for bringing that up... My father and mother was killed by Man, so... I guess we both have excuses." Lucy smiled at him, but then her smile faded, and she fainted from a loss of blood.

Aranos was just about to reply, when he saw Lucy passing out and panicked.
"Hey, don't give up!" he said, with a worried tone in his voice. Then, he rushed up to Lucy, lifted her on his back, and headed back to his house. Once he got there, hemade sure his mother or his uncle couldn't see him, and took Lucy in the basement, and put her on the floor.

Lucy woke up, with her leg bandaged up, and she was in something.
"WHa- WHere am I??" Her tone went from angry to scared. She whimpered, all she saw was balckness.
"Am i dead?" She wondered. Then she saw a light flicker on and a man start walking down the steps. Lucy ran and hid behind a barrell, until the man was out of sight. The lights flivkered off again.
"I'm in his house?! Wait... Dog! Umm, guy... Are you in

Lucy looked at him and smiled.
" My name is Lucy. You are?" She looked at the dog and continued
" Why am i in here, i mean don't you hate wolves or something? If you're owner finds out, im dead!!" Lucy was worried, but felt safe around The dog. She wanted to stay with him forever, and for him to love her that way back. But she knew his past, and she knew it wouldn't happen.
