Ilac coughed. "It's a level checker, moron. Here, press the button on the handle and aim the top at me," he said. Once the smog cleared, he sidled over to Leif. "We'll have to fight. What moves do you know?"

"Ummmm" Lief thought for a moment and said "I know scratch and leer!" and without hesitation he dug his claws into the side of koffing's face.

"Not the best form," sai Ilac, "but it'll do." Saying this, he scratched three gashes in Koffing, each puncturing one of the craters in its body.

Zubat used Supersonic on the two.

"Well at least you've got some guts." said Koffing. "But if you want these things back, you'll need to catch us first!" he said, he and Zubat running into Beach Cave nearby.

OOC: Can I add another character so I have a member in the hero group as well?

Ilac snarled. "I can't see where I'm going!" He pulled out a berry from somewhere under his fur and ate it. "Much better," he said. "Let's go get them!"

OOC: Fine with me. And you both know about my rancher powers, can I use them here?

"Agreed!" Leif screamed as he charged into the cave at top speed, leaving Ilac in the dust.

OOC: Ok, thank you! Though my character finds out now. He's a Treecho named Swift.

"Hey!" yelled a Treecho, running over. "Are you two ok? Those bullies never cut anyone a break." she said, then saw Leif run off. "Hey! Wait for me!" she said, running after him. "Its dangerious to go into a Mystery Dungeon alone!"

Ilac skidded to a halt. "A what?" he asked.

"Oh, okay," said Ilac. But it's almost impossible to replace a level-checker of that quality!" He paused. "Maybe we could go together."

Leif, paralyzed on the ground was quietly thinking to himself Why on earth did i go off on my own?!? I have never been this brave...

"Yeah, I think so", Leif replied.

Ilac panted, running up. "Ranchers do a lot of this..." he muttered to himself, "but this body hasn't." He looked up, where Leif was just standing up. "You okay?" he asked. "Don't run off. It's not safe."
