Breed: Timber Wolf x Alaskan River Husky x Ethiopian Wolf
Personality: She is very kind and honest, always willing to lend a paw to another wolf or dog in need. She loves meeting new people and making new friends she's also very adventurous and original. She hates blending in with a croud, she wants to be unique, and dosen't care what other's think about it. She's super smart, but not nerdy, and gets very determined when she sets her mind on something, but knows when she's taken it too far.
History: She was born in an overgrown pack against the alpha's orders. Her mom was alpha femae and her father was the beta, which made them not allowed to have pups, but they did anyways. Carter stayed with the pack only until she was 1, big enough to take care of herself, only because the Alpha had a spoft spot for puppies. He kicked her out and her father the first chance he got. Carter accually was seperated from her father the first night because of a small earthquake. She was devestated, but Carter moved on, and went looking for a town. She thought that the humans might want her, but they rejected her too. Feeling so alone, she left there and lived on the outskirts of Nome. She wakes up every morning at the same time, and watches the Mail team run by, thinking about how fun it would be to pull. She knew about here Dog heretige, but all the humans just thought she was all wolf, much to her disappointment. She loved being a unique individual, and liked hanging out with the sled team after their runs. They told her about a pulling contest, happening that afternoon and she was all for it. When Carter showed up, the owners of their "pure breds" just laughed, until one came up to her, and studied her.
"This one's got wolf in 'er." He said, and they went crazy, knowing she could pull strong and far. That man that was kind to her bought her and attached her to a sled. People were betting thousands of dollars for her to pull 100 yards, pulling 700 lbs of gold,.
" Now, girl, you gotsta pull past that lightpole, please girl, im countin' on ya." He patted her head, and attached the harness to Carter. When the whistle blew, She began to walk, using every muscle in her body to pull and make her first human proud. Finally, she crossed the line, and her human cheered. Everyone began offering money, by the hundred thousands, for Carter. Her human refused to sell "his prize" and she now pulls at least twice a week, and she has never lost.
How They met Zach: Carter stomped through the snow angrily, swishing her tail back and forth.
Stupid dog, stupid dog stupid DOG!!! she snarled to herself, remembering how she lost her first pull.
She was going great, almost finished, when the dog she was competing with got to her ankles, and began biting her. Annoyed, she tried to flip him off, but he then took advantage of her attention and... She hated that part, so she walked up to her master's door, and planted herself at the foot, huffing in the wind. Snow lightly drifted down, as she fell to sleep.
The following day she stalked through the woods, wanting to hurt something. Carter steemed, and then a cream male bumped into her, tipping her over he edge.
"How DARE You!? How 'bout you stick your nose infront of where youre going and Dont run INTO PEOPLE!!" She snarled, then stopping realizing the dog was apologizing like crazy. "I-im sorry, i was..... I didn't mean to!!" He said, and she lightened. "Oh well..... Im sorry too... I was in a mood, and.... Im Carter." She said, ashamed. The cream wolf smiled, and walked around her, then planted himself infront of her. "Im Zach."
For the next couple of weeks, Carter and Zach began to hang out more, and Carter accually begins to trust him. Unlike in her fling with Whitt (who immediantly wanted pups) she knew he wouldn't 'crave' the same thing, just by the way he spoke and protected her (even though Carter did NOT need protecting, she didn't want to ruin his fun). She grows closer to him, and soon she finds herself constantly thinking about him, and who he's with, and when she finds out she likes him, it's a hge weight lifted off her shoulders.
What they like about Zach: Carter likes his attitude, and how he's not afraid to yell, and get mad. She loves that he protects her, and loves his family too. She likes hanging around him because he is so funny when he tries to be all cool, so she laughs a lot. She thinks he's real cute, and loves his eyes.
