i've read all of them, and the lion the witch and the wardrobe multiple times(i have a beautiful illustrated version of it too besides the paperback). i saw the movie in theaters and am gonna buy it next tuesday! yay!~ i agree with ghraeh, i was sad when it ended. i liked the ending a lot though, i thought it was very appropriate. it makes me wish c.s. lewis knew something the rest of us didn't... there was one detail i didn't like, but i'm not gonna say what it is, it would spoil part of it for those who haven't read the last book.

I haven't seen the movie yet, is it as good as the book is? I thought they messed up on Lucy and The white Whitch,(You know, on the pre views) but I'm still going to rent it whenever it comes out.

i wouldn't say it was amazingly accurate, they added a few parts, like *SPOILER* the scene @ the beginning, the river and the fox deterring the wolves. but those parts certainly didn't do any harm, and i enjoyed them. the rest was very accurate, though.
the special effects are incredible, and the fact that they didn't use famous actors to play the children made the story more real. i also thought they did a great job in keeping some of c.s. lewis's hidden themes, where people could choose to see them or not (i.e. when aslan says to lucy and susan how he'd like some company before you-know-what, sound familliar? think the garden of gasthemony. and i have no idea if i spelled that right.) but people could choose to interpret that or not.

Yes, your right, and I especially agree with you on the "hidden" parts of choosing whether or not to see them. That was a great step in the film
