Fursona and their babiez?!

E-mates and e-babies really creeps me out. I strictly adhere to the "no fursona mates" rule and I think it's really weird. It's like marrying your imaginary friend.

Well this is a very nice rant. I agree with it totally.

Fursona's mating are just wrong. I mean, if they are actually married, then I guess it would be okay. But still.

It's rather creepy. As Sora said, 'Like marrying your imaginary friend.' Plus it sets of the wrong signals for newer members.

I make my fursona have mate and puppies but doesn't mean it's gonna happen in real life.It's just for fun^

But your fursona represents you. It is you. ANd if you mate with anotehr character, it's like your mating with an actual person, as the character does have a creator.

And saying you've had pups/babies or whatever is even weirder. It's a lot like telling your Mum you're pregnant with a cartoon character.

I'm just imagining all the dissaproving parents finding out their kids/teenagers are saying they're married and got children with someone on the internet. It's strange.

Well, Zion (my fursona) Has a mate called Hailey (Shadow's_Angel's fursona) and me and her are REALLY in love so thats fine. but in the roleplay we added pups for the fun of roleplay. It is alittle creepy when you put it like that. but i find its Fine aslong you and the other are really in love and both agree on the term for adding some fun. BUT when you make up a mate (like any old character) as your fursonas mate it is very creepy.. So yes i have pups with my love. But we find it fine aslong its for the fun of the roleplay me and her do together

(Though really now we aint roleplayed on there, we roleplayed before pups for more romance.. so really right now im safe ^^)

Zion-I do have a bf on this site who trully loves me & he doesn't mind if I use his fursona being mates with mine cause hew is gonna meet me in real life next summer so that counts right?we even talk on skype on webcams.Oh AND me and Ben known each other for three years over the site. :mrgreen:

Ontopic - Thats fine then, your fursonas are you. so if your fursona loves acharacter then you love that characters owner. and you love his fursona. you love the owner. Thats perfectly fine! its quite nice to hear it ^^ atleast i like hearing of it.

But lets not offtopic my dear, So its perfectly fine to have your fursona have a mate aslong the mate is a fursona of someone who you love. (and ofcourse he/she loves back) point was if pups were accepted..

Okay so here's my two cents, maybe three

So far I haven't seen much of this around, maybe it's because I don't read over much.
But It's really not my place to be 'zomg your fursey had babies???' and anything
along those lines.
If you are a responsible child and want to make your fursona have a mate
and babies, then knock yourself out. Just don't flaunt it everywhere,
actually TRY and keep it discreet
because, trust me, it'll end you up in trouble, and as you can see, some people don't like it.
So try and respect them aswell.

Now What i Dont want to hear is the 'omg he left me for another one' and all that
drama. We seriously don't need it. IF you let your fursona have a mate and he/she moves on,
deal with it, that's part of you sacrificing your own fursona,
and don't flame on the ohter person that you left
or they left you.
That happened to mine, Azeriel and Nightjaws, in real life, me and him
DID have a relationship. but we broke it off, now did you see me posting
all the hate notes and bawl my eyes out every single day? No.
Be mature, if it happened, it happens, you can discuss matters in PMs, but
please avoid the major SB drama.
Yes I know I haven't seen this yet.. but IT may happen so im just telling you now.

Now for people that are in relationships and have their fursona's together it's very nice.
I like looking at cute pictures of two people's fursona and what not.

Everyone has free of their will as long as the rules aren't broken.
Please.. don't abuse that power now.

I agree with fay.I think you should be able to bew creative with your fursona/representing you with your loved one like a best friend or dating. Just don't go overboard with it :mrgreen:

I have to agree. That is rather... odd. A fursona, or anything that represents you, shouldn't be used in mating situations. For example, I have a fursona(through my deviantArt account) that I use that I've draw with others' fursonas(such as Saske's), but they're simply "friends", since we're both friends. But I'm not going to tell people that my fursona can have a mate and babies because, first of all I don't want that, and second of all, I don't have a boyfriend.

It's like having children with a person you've never met face-to-face. Imagine how strange that would be. Ugh...

Now, if you use your fursona more like a character than a representation of yourself, go ahead. But if you DO use it as "yourself", save us the awkwardness and don't do that.

My fursona's mate is actually my crush in RL... I know we won't break it off cause we don't exist, but I like him but i'm too scared to talk to him bout it... BUT, I don't plan on pups o_O i just find it odd for fursonas to have pups... if you don;t have kids in RL..

But then later, I found that...really..creepy, so I took it off, xD No mate for meh 8D

The things that are fine for me are:

Your 'mate' is your REAL Boyfriend/Girlfriend.
You and your partner have a kid(s) so, your 'pup' is like your real child.
You and your partner plan on having kids.

Things that are annoying (or downright creepy):

'Heeeey. This is my fursona! Isn't she awesome? She needs a mate wanna help me out?'
Fursona to fursona mates when the couple is NOT real. (Oh god. Let's hope THIS doesn't turn into a fad...)
Mating your fursona with a fictional character.
'Heeey. These are my fursona's babies. They're his/hers from this litter she had with randomcharacter wanna adopt one?'

I support the no fursona mates rule. (With the exception of having your fursona paired with your real partner.)
