Ian growled at Nuka, but Ivy shushed him. "Can you be just a tad less ruder?" she asked sharply, glaring at her brother. She turned back to Kishma, but she was already running off after Nuka. Ivy hurried after the two with Ian at her heels. Kishma ran as fast as she could to catch up with Nuka and smiled widely when he told her that the team was there. She quickly ran up next to him and her eyes almost popped out of their sockets with surprise at how close the team was. "Nuka, we can't let them see us!" Kishma said worriedly. She had never been out in the open for the team to see her before, and she actually reluctant to go back deeper into the woods. She was completely transfixed on the way they ran together.

Ivy came up behind Kishma, a tired smile on her face from the ran. But her smile faded when she saw the approaching team . "What are you two doing?!" Ivy exclaimed. She looked around frantically and pushed Nuka back into the cover of the trees, thinking that Kishma would followed behind. But Kishma stayed sitting out in the open, staring at the team as they came closure and closure.

Ian pushed against Kishma to try and nudge her back into the woods, but she refused to move. "Just wait a second," she told him. He sighed at her, but sat next to her, his flank against hers to force her into the woods if he needed to.

Tony raised an eyebrow at the strange behavior of the wolves. "What do you think they're doing?" he asked Mishka and Inuit. He eyed the wolves as some of them pushed pushed others back into the woods, but one female would not budge from her spot. The whole thing was just odd. Normally, wolves ran when they saw the team coming. It was their natual reaction to humans. There was something weird going on with thise group of wolves, and Tony became very wary of them.

Mishka nodded slowly "The one light colored one looks familiar, but I don't know where from..I'm nuts." She laughed weakly.Mishka felt her paw hurting again, the pain was gaining more and more until she couldn't run any longer.Falling to the ground in pain she looked at the wolves once again, the brown was seemed to be inching closer.Mike sighed and pulled the rest of the dogs to a hault, Mike knew exactly what Mishka wanted:to see the wolves."Be home soon girl.." He whispered, Mishka was supprised at her owner's reaction, how did her know?

Inuit laughed in disbelif "You think your going alone?You wish!" Walking forward with her an dlooked back at Tony, knowing he might want to come.But when he went to say something to Mishka she was gone, running towards the wolves "Mishka!No!" Inuit raced after her, but couldn't reach her until it was to late, she had already said 'hi'.

Mishka was growing impataint and darted over to the wolves, a timid look on her face, but oddly she wasn't scared."Hi." She was suprised that she was as tall as teh wolves, why was that?She figured it was just in her blood, maybe from her mom's side?

"Guys, wait up!" Tony called to Mishka and Inuit as he shrugged out of his harness. He started to run after them, but looked back at Echo after he had only gotten a few feet away. He and Mishka were the only dogs on the team remotely kind to her. She'd get eaten alive if they left her alone with the team. "Echo, are you coming?" he asked, strangely hoping that she would say yes.

Kishma smiled brightly when she saw the gray husky running up to her. Ian nudged at her side, trying to get her to retreat back into the woods, but she pushed against him and shot him a glare. "I doubt they're dangerous. They're just huskys," she said to him. Ian just rolled his eyes at her, but took a step back anyways. He was pushed aside as Ivy came up beside Kishma, who smiled at the gray husky. "Hi," Kishma said to her.

Kishma looked over this first husky curiously. There was something stangell familiar about her. Kishma shook the thought out of her head. She was just excited to be finally meeting the husky team.

Mishka smiled "We aren't just huskies, we're the fastest and strongest dogs in the town." She didn'tw ant these wolves thinking they were just common and pampered house pets."Well I'm Mishka, lead sled dog." She looked over at Tony and Inuit "They are swing dogs, they run behind me." She noticed Echo was running happily behind Tony "And thats Echo, shes new here, shes a wheel dog, she runs in the back." She hoped the wolves would understand.

Echo smiled at Tony's request "Of course, I'm totally not terrified of wilf wolves!" She joked, running to the group.Sh ewas glad that Mishka nd the othershad taken her under their wings, yes Mishka scolded her often, but sh eknew that wasn't Mishka's fault, it was her own, so she didn't take it to heart often.

Nuka looked at the sled dogs in awe "Your team work is alot like ours, but we don't have to pull thinsg of course, besides our own wight." He chuckled warmly, hoping he made the huskies feel welcomed instead of frightened.

"Don't worry. I understand," Kishma said, understanding almost perfectly how the sled team worked. But having names to all the different positions sparked a curiousity in her. "My name's Kishma," she added, not wanting to forget to introduce herself. "And this is Ivy," Kishma said quickly before anyone else could speak. "Me and her always come up here to watch you guys race. But we usually stay out of view. We figure we're a lot less distracting that way," she said pointedly at Nuka.

Ivy sighed at Kishma's introduction. She hated others speaking for her. She figured she had to say something now so she didn't seem like a mute. "We both think the entrie sport is fascinating," she said. She glanced over her shoulder at her brother, who looked like he'd rather by facing a bear than a couple of huskies. "This is my brother, Ian," Ivy said, mostly to annoy him. It worked because Ian gave a small almost inaudioable growl at her. Ivy just shrugged it off.

Tony smiled widely when Echo came to join them. He ran with her to join the rest of the group. He looked over the wolves but his eyes stuck on the white and brown one... Kishma? It wasn't so much in her fur, but her eyes looked vaguely familiar.

Mishka laughed at the annoyed and mad looking Ian "What, scared of a few huskys?" Laughing she looked back at the white female "Our names sound the same, Mishka, Kishma." Inuit nodded in agreement "Maybe your related!" but Mishka's face had turned serious."I'm not part wolf, don't say that." She had always been picked on how she looked somewhat similar to the wolves, but she never thought about being a real wolf/dog.Hearing Kishma's comments about how they loved the sport and what not, she smiled brightly "Maybe you could run with us sometime!You and your friend could easily sneak in at night, we all know how to hook the halters on." She thought of the idea, her running with wolves, wolves.

Inuit felt bad for Mishka and ashamed of bringing up the fact of the two canine's similarities and names.He knew that Mishka was very often pick on as a pup, the purebreds threw rocks at her and howled at her kennel at night to keep her awake and frighten her, she was tortured completly.

"Not afraid," Ian said with a growl. "Just distrusting and annoyed." He sat down in the snow with a deep frown.
Kishma shook her head at Ian and turned her attention back to the huskies. She smiled brightly at Mishka's idea. "Could you really? Oh, wow, that would be great!"
That was when Ian had had it. He stood up and marched to stand beside Kishma. "No way are you going with this huskies to their home," he said with a snarl. He glared up at Mishka with clear distrust. He wasn't at all prepared for what he felt when he met Mishka's eyes. It was a strange feeling in his belly, like he was laying near a warm fire. He stared at her a few seconds longer before Kishma pushed him over and out of the way.

"I;m going," Kishma said strongly. Ivy nodded her agreement with Kishma. Ivy looked at the huskies. "Just ignore my brother. He was born a jerk and has yet to change hin way," she said with a shrug as if it was just a slightly tragic childhood story.

Mishka growled at the male and pinned him down, showing she wouldn't take attitude like that."You may be high and mighty in your pack, but your you are a very low rank." She looked at his eyes that seemed to sparkle and jumped off, she was assertive at times and didn't take crap from anyone.Looking at the female and Ivy "Well c'mon, the team still hasn't gotten home yet, we have a nother good two hours and the extra harnesses are still at the kennals and the practice sled.She remembered the practice sled, it was light weight and wasn't built to carry any man, it was made just for the dogs to lear how to pull.So she figured they could use that one fore sure, just for starters.

Nuka bursted out in laughter when the female pounced on Ian, about time someone showed him his place, he thought to himself, still chuckling a bit to himself.

Inuit wasn't as wary as before about the wolves, he figured now that Mishka felt comfortable with them he could do the same thing.He watched as Mishka headed towards the kennels "The hard headed one can come to, he'll be a good wheel dog." Inuit heard Nuka come up to him to where he was trotting beside him "So you pull thinsg for food and a warm place to sleep, sounds good to me." Nuka laughed, the laugh of a wof was hard and sometimes even deadly, but he knew that dog sledding had it's bad sides to.

[Mishka does like Ian, she just had to show him his place, and maybe mess with him a bit to get his lighter side out and break through his hard shell, so she doesn't hate him ^.^]

(Oh, good. Wouldn't want to kill that relationship before it start ^.^)

Ian growled at Mishka but didn't fight back. He supposed it wasn't quite right to beat up on a female and there was still that strange feelings that he had gotten when he had looked at it. It had unsettled him. Ian got up from the ground with as much dignity as he could muster and shook the snow from his fur. He followed behind the rest of the group, head and tail lowered.

"We can really go now?" Kishma said with excitedment as she padded after Mishka. To finally be able to pull a sled was almost too much to take in. This couldn't really be true, could it? Kishma didn't mind that it was unbelievable because it also made Kishma giddy. She smiled at Ivy who mirrored her anxious posture.

[I'm getting pretty tired where I am]

Mishka smiled playfully at Ian, her bright green eyes sparkling from sun that reflected off the snow.The world around her seemed to be blurred around the edges, sounds were muffled and vision out of focus, everything but him.Her stomach felt tight and fluttery as she tried to pull her eyes away from him and back into the real world where KIshma was yipping about how excited she was."If your this excited now, then you'll be having a heart attack when your running with us, you and Inuit can trade places and you can be a swing dog, " SHe looked at Tony "And can Ivy trade spots with you please?They are really excited for the run and I think it would be so much funner if they ran up front." Mishka would love to give up her own spot to Kishma but the role and responsabilities were hard tohandle and could not be learned in a day.And if she had given up her spot for the new comer to try out, one of them could be badly injured.

Inuit saw the kennels as they ran up the hill "There it is!Home!" The large fenced in area was large enough for a herd of horses it seemed and a few groups of trees were found every few feet so there was alot of space."This is where we eat, sleep, and breath." The large kennels were filled with soft blankets that smelled of puppy-hood to warm and relax the team after a hard day's work.

Tony looked back at Mishka and raised an eyebrow at the look she was giving the male wolf. Ian, was it? Tony glanced between the two before Mishka finally turned to talk to him. "Yeah, of course," he said, suddenly eager to please her. "Anything you want. I completely understand." He smiled at Mishka, thouhg his brow was furrowed with his own worry. He quickly looked away.

Ian glanced up at Mishka, feeling like he was being watched. But it wasn't in a bad way. No, it was the best way possible. He saw her just as she turned away to look at Kishma again. He shook his head at himself. What was he doing? Falling for a husky? No. That was something he could never, never, never do. He was to be the next alpha of their pack. He couldn't abadon his pack and his heritage to go running of with some dog! He would just have to ignore whatever it was that was fluttering around in his stomach. Besides, after today, what were his chances of ever seeing any of these dogs again?

Kishma smiled wider than she ever thought she had smile before. "This is gonna be so great!" she said, bounding around in her sheer excitement. Ivy barked happily before running after Inuit. Kishma was close behind her. The two were absolutely giddy. Tony watched as the rest of the dogs passed him up as they ran for the kennels. He followed along in a slow jog behind them. When he caught up with them, Kishma already had her nose burried in the bedding of the kennels, taking in all the new scents. "These smell so good!" she exclaimed, laying in what she didn't know was Inuit's bed. She hadn't had time yet to recognize the different scents of the huskies. They all smelt basically the same to her for the time being. Ivy padded around the whole yard, sniffing at all the equipment scattered around and the strange food that the huskies ate. It was all exhilarating.

Inuit laughed kindly as he poked his head in the kennel "You like my be I see?" He didn't mind at all, it was just a bed to him, nothing more.He looked Kishma and smiled, her coat was so unusual just like Mishka's was, but of course they weren't wolf/dogs, that was clear to see.His ice blue and wood brown eyes were bright and glittered at the female.

Mishka darted to the extra halters and slipped in "C'mon!" She called happily, her tail wagging a million miles a our it seemed.She watched as the blue and brown eyed male came over and slipped into one of the team positions.His eyes reminded her so much of Inuit, but his blue was deeper."So, we just run right?" Mishka giggled, he made it sound so simple "Its harder than that, you guys will have some trouble with turning." She knew for sure this would happen, all the beginers did this.She let her mind wander, and her sight to.And the second she did she caught herself looking Ian, she quickly felt her ears get hot and she looked away.Did she have feelings for this wolf?


Echo giggled and went over to Tony "C'mon, before the new ones ahve a heart attack." She laughed, sliding into her harness next to Nuka.The male was much taller than her and much more muscle since he had been running more than she had for sure.She was a little scared she would fall under the speed like she had already done that morning.

Ooc:// Whew! I've been working on this for days now. Not really, but I was never on enough to get this all written at once, so I right bit by bit each time I could get on. Sorry it took so long to reply!

Bic:// Kishma blushed deeply when Inuit told her she was in his bed. "Oh," she said in embarrassment, padding out of the kennel. "I'm sorry. I didn't know." Kishma shrugged at her ignorance and gave Inuit a shy, apologetic smile. She was instantly mesmorized by Inuit's eyes. She had thought her eyes were somewhat outstounding since they were a golden hazel that she had never seen on any other dog. But it was clear now that she had been wrong about her amazing eyes. Both irises, though different in color, were absolutely breath-taking. She was instantly reminded of Nuka's eyes, though Kishma could also clearly see a difference. Inuit's blue eye was icy and reminded her of a lake when it is frozen over in winter while Nuka's was a warm almost torquiose that reminded her of a vast body of water in its liquid summer form. And Inuit's brown eye was dark but warm and friendly while Nuka's brown iris was merely just dark and almost menacing. Kishma became totally lost in her thoughts of Inuit and Nuka that she didn't notice that she was blantantly staring into Inuit's eyes.

Ian stood near the entrance that they had come from. He was wary of the whole situation and refused to move from his spot. But he watched the others as they explored. Ivy had been sniffing around but ran up to Mishka when she saw the husky harnessing up. "So how do you get on of these things on?" Ivy said as she nudged the leather around her nose. She lifted her muzzle and the harness fell around her natually. She smiled in delight and stepped through the leg holes. She looked up at her brother and called merrily, "Come on, Ian! Don't you want to come with us?"

Tony sighed, but trotted up behind Echo and shifted into his harness. He would have been upset that he was all the way at the back end of the team in the wheel dog position if he hadn't already been upset about Mishka. He looked up and saw just how far away he was from Mishka and sighed again, louder this time. He had never felt like he was loosing her more than he felt that day.

Mishka felt weird being so far away from her friend Tony, like a block of the earth was pulled from behind her, but she remembered that she was showing the wolves a good time so she had to fake the smile that she had already put on her face."C'mon Ian, get your butt over here." She laughed, shaking her pelt to get the falling snow off of her fur.She looked over at him as she laughed sweetly, eyes holding a small glitter.

Inuit smiled and laughed kidnly, not at her tho."So, you like me?Or just my eyes?" He joked, black and white tail wagging slowly."Your name is Kishma right?" His eyes looked into hers as she had done to him "I'm Inuit, and that Mishka, one fo the most impataint females in the world so lets get going." Laughing warmingly he nudged her and Ian gently.As Inuit slid into his harness he lookedahead of him where Kishma and Ivy would run an dsmiled at the thought.

Nuka looked at Ivy, his ears hot in embarassment(sp) at the thought of looking at her but he looked away quickly after a blink or two."So like this?" He murmmered as he slid his body into the harness.

Kishma blushed in embarrassment when Inuit pointed out that she was staring at him like an idiot. Luckily, she didn't have time to reply before he was talking again. She nodded as he asked about her name and laughed as he tried to nudge Ian towards the sled. Ian just growled at Inuit and stayed where he was. Kishma went back over to him and said, "Will you please try to get along with these dogs? They just won't to show us what they do." Ian glared at the team, or so Kishma thought, because he wouldn't take his eyes away from Mishka. Kishma sighed and said, pleadingly, "Will you please just go on one run?" Reluctantly, Ian nodded, and Kishma led the way to the sled to.

Ian trodded to the back of the team beside the light gray male. Grudgidly, Ian slid into the harness and huffed out a puff of air as he saw Kishma do the same. His eyes drifted between his sister, his pratically sister, and the lead dog. Inside, he was praying that none of them would get hurt. Even Mishka.

Ivy chuckled at Nuka, turning around and fixing straightening the harness with her teeth so it fitted on his body like it fit on hers. "There ya go!" she said with a smile. "That's how it goes." She couldn't help but noticed how tight the leather was on his Nuka's thick wolf body. He towered over everyone on the team, except Ian. But even than, Nuka was a few inches taller than her brother. Ivy smiled at Nuke one last time before turning around to face Mishka. "I think we're all ready now," Kishma said to Mishka with delight.
