Breed: Rhodesian Ridgeback
History: Griffin was on his way to becoming a champion in agility ever since he was a pup. But his destiney was rudely interrupting when he was stolen from his kennel and put on illegal race tracks.
Personality: Griffin is the protector of the whole group. He'd take a fall for any of them. He is pretty serious most of the time, but if someone really gets to know him, they'd definately share a few good laughs. He is the silently handsome type that, though he would never admit, would makes most girls swoon.

March 1-Snow thickly covers the ground, pretty much how it is now with the major snow fall everywhere

Mishka shook her cream coat in the too small kennel, the annoying greyhound talking toher still stood, chattering away about the farm animals."And the chickens gossip alot.." She tried her best to block most of it out, she was scared and didn't want to hear about gosiping chickens, what were chickens?Mishka, flexed her long paw out of the cage, fidled with the lock, and soon opened it.The door swung opened quickley as she darted out, snow flying behind her and into the wooden crate that acted like a kennal.

Bumble Bee took a step back and laughed "That was a nifty trick!" She looked around ith a anxious look, like something bad was about to pop out and scare her."What is it?" Mishka asked, the greyhound looked freaked."My brother, he is somewhere, probally getting into trouble like always." Just on cue, a dark cream brindle grey hound male came running out of the hen house, a few hens chasing and nipping after him, but of course they couldn't chase the fast dog.

Jumping Jack hear a loud yell "Jack!" Stopping in his tracks he grunted, hsi sister was alwasy ruining his fun.Trottin up into the picture of Mishka and Bee he croutched down and growled."Who are you mangy mutt?" Jack was quick to growl, he didn't care if the dog was bigger or faster, the Greyhound stood his ground most of the time which caused him some nast scars and wounds.The headstrong Greyhound could be a fun loving male but yet very protective over his 'family'.

Mishka was suprised by the male's changed attitude."I-I'm Mishka, I'm new here, I live here now." Unlike the strange male, she just looked at him oddly, tilting her head quizically.

"Leave the poor girl alone, Jack," Griffin said as he come onto the scene. He came to a stop beside Jumping Jack and sat down, his thick form towering over the the skinny, lithe greyhounds. But Griffin to prove to be just as fast. He took in Mishka's ruffled look with a tilt of his head before resuming his scolding of Jack. "She's probably been through enough tramatizing experiences for one day. Lets not make it any worse," he said with a pointed look. Even though Griffin and Jack were very protective of their 'family', Griffin could be a lot more open-minded.

"Trauma already?" Elise said in her breathy yet confident voice, adding on a sneer at the end. "Didn't the girl just get here?" Elise was laying on her back, her paws haning out of the bars and pawing at the lock on her door. It was obvious by her amused expression that she wasn't attempting escape or anything. She was just entertaining herself like a cat with a string. She smiled grimly at the group before clicking her lock open with a swift movement of her claw. The door swung open, nearly smacking into Mishka. She rolled over and stood up, shaking out her long fur. She yawned as she stretched out her legs before trotting out of her cage and standing beside Misha. "Welcome to h*ll Misk," she said, dragging out her newly thought of nickname for the new dog. "Hope ya like it here."

"Now what kind of a greeting is that, Lise?" came a high-pitched male voice from a few cages over. Tango stuck his muzzle between the bars on his cage. It was obvious he was uncapable of escaping from his cage like most of the others. Elise rolled her eyes at him, but unlocked his cage anyways. He nodded his thanks to Elise and padded up to Mishka's other side. "Doll, met the ever so charming Tango and his partner in annoying happiness Bee. The third one should be here soon. You'll know Sava when you met her." Tango and Griffin simotaniously sighed at Elise, who gladly ignored them. "Thw two co-captains over there are Jack and Griffin. And you'll be happy to meet the oh-so-cheerful Error," Elise finished sarcastically.

Mishka snarled at the nickname the female had given her "My name is Mishka, not Misk." Sh ehad been given that name as a small child by her father when he would become angry at her.'Misk, look what you've done you stupid mutt!' His voice echoed in her mind, bounced off the walls of her brain.Looking around and listening to the introduction she made a smirk " I think I'll like it here." She looked down "More of a home than I've ever been in." She muttered to herself silently, then looked back up to the male that was named Jack "And don't even try to pick a fight with me, I'm not a prissy show dog." A playfull smirk ran across her face."So you guys are like a family I guess?" The dogs seemed pretty close, and they knew eachother well also.

Bee nodded quickley "Yeah, its pretty fun here when we aren't racing or-" The cream greyhound stopped talking and put her head down, not wanting to scare the newcomer.But like alwasy her brother Jack just had to barge in "She means fighting, some of us are stronger than others and are chosen to fight other dogs till the death." He acted like it was nothing, like killing one of his ow kind was just like killing a bird in the feilds."And by the way you look, you'll probally be one of them.." Bee pushed her brother on the snow covered ground and let out a girly growl "Oh great Jack!You've scared her half to death now didn't ya?" Jack looked at the cream husky mix female, she seemed calm."Well she isn't freaking out." Bee looked at him with a hard stare like a mother would "Not freaking out my-Oh, your right, shes fine." A smile went on her face, happy that the dog wasn't flipping ad hiding in a corner."Its ot that big of a deal, I've done it before, I mean ot like this, but living on the streets you might as well." Sh elaughed, remembering her year on the streets, crazy and wild dogs would tear apart any dog that came through their path, but she always managed to get through the alley.

History: Basco was raised to serve one purpose..be an effective breeder that could add strength to other lines. Doesn't mean he enjoy the thought of what he might have to do, so he's developed more of a rebellious nature when it comes to obeying trainers. This nature of his often alienates him from others of his kind, though it's not something he isn't use to.
Personality: Strong and determined, Basco gives all others clear notice of his intentions with each strong stride he makes. Although he's been raised to one day breed with multiple pairs, he has yet to violate one female without their own desire for it to be so. Quiet and reserved, he rarely lets others know of his intentions..though they would never be hostile in any means unless one deserves it.

Strong paws crossed against the hard dirt as his muzzle rested upon them slowly. One thing he never expected was to be here..among all manners of species. Why? To breed. Yes indeed breeding is what he was raised to do...what he was taught to do. All they needed was his genes to help solidify a certain line of dog...and it wasn't what he wanted to do. The only reason he ended up in such a place was because he refused to obey. Many times he was instructed to breed...and many times he refused to do so. They said he was worthless now...he wasn't worthy of even trying to breed with others as he might infect them with his attitude.

Scoffing against the dirt, his eyes gazed forward into the yard. Many different animals presented themselves time and again..but as of yet nobody had spoken a word to him. Needless to say, this didn't bother him at all. Being a loaner is something he was more then use to. Closing his eyes, he dreamed of having a different life..one where he was free to do as he pleased and not be forced to give part of himself to others.

He wouldn't breed with anyone...unless it was someone he truly loved. That day, however, was yet to come. Until then he was no longer being forced, more like tossed aside to waste away..as that was all his 'skills' were to the masters now.

Mishka watched her sorroundings grow smaller as more and more dogs came into the picture.She saw a brindle male, strong and rebelious looking.Leaning over to Bee she whispered in her ear "Who is that?" Bee giggled "Don't think about that, if you like him then its going to be too bad, he is stubborn." Bee's voice was calm and a slight bit tense, was she scared?Mishka looked back up at Error and weakly smiled "I'm Mishka, I'm new here." Her voice was a little bit tense like Bee's had been, she was nervous.Something seemed off about the male, and she liked it.

Elise persed her lips and shook her head at Mishka as she yelled at her for the nickname. Rolling her eyes, Elise wondered what was wrong with that girl. She definately had some issues that she needed to work out because Elise was too stubborn to give up anything, even something as insignifigant as a nickname. Besides, everyone else had one. Mishka would just have to deal with it.

The faint whispering of Mishka and Bee reached Elise's ears, and she was about to lean in to hear what they were talking about when the dark brooding form of Echo caught the corner of her eye. Of course the new girl would be interested in the tortured soul of the mysterious Echo. Elise sneared at Mishka. Good luck with that one, hun, Elise thought as Mishka greeted Echo. Elise had to hold in a laugh. Who did this girl think she was? "And ain't she ever so charming, Echo? I think all of us have already fallen in love." Elise couldn't help but let out a small snicker.

Griffin throw Elise a look that obviously said, "Shut it." Elise just smiled at Griffin, but she did keep her mouth closed. Griffin turned his attention to Echo. He had always been concerned about the mix dog. He seemed to be holding back something and as Griffin thought about, he wondered if he had ever seen Echo laugh. The dog just mostly looked on with a face of indifference. Mishka's greeting sparked a hope in Griffin that maybe this wolfdog would get Echo to open up at last. "You should at least greet a newcomer," Griffin said to Echo. He could at least try and push things along between the two.
