Aurora stood patiently, although she could feel her heart beating madly inside her chest. As soon as Glaedr disappeared the overwhelming feeling to run crashed into her like a wall of water. She took a step backwards, but the feel of Atun beneath her made her stay. 'Glaedr?' she said softly, feeling very nervous standing all by herself.

Paws thudded over cold earth. The moonlight gleamed, everything was silvered under its blind gaze. The calls should have distracted, or at least worried the clan, so that they wouldn't venture out of their caves. The dragon paused, the group behind copying and watching their every move. Nodding at the rest of the dragons, the leader darted forwards in the direction of the clan. Scents lined the earth and grew stronger with each step taken, and amongst the cacophany of smells two stood out the most. The leader bared their teeth.

The scents split, one seemed to be approaching fast but it was hard to tell with the still air. The leader stopped, raised their head and inhaled deeply. A quick snarl and a flick of the head made half of the following group turn one way. The leader and the rest headed directly towards the moving scent. The lead raised their head and roared, the followers doing the same, to announce where they were. If one dragon was stupid enough to be out on their own then they would tear them apart.

'Children I think you should go back inside, I don't like this at all' Aurora said softly, peering through the darkness to try and spot Glaedr's familiar and comforting shape. She thought she saw movement, but couldn't smell anything on the air.

( Here comes my little dun dun duuun moment)

Atun was petrified, but allowed himself to be pushed towards the caves by Ember. It didn't feel right leaving Aurora, but she would be ok if Glaedr was with her. He isn't though, he's out in the forest somewhere being attacked he thought wildly, not even sure if his thoughts were true.

'I'm coming Glaedr' Aurora muttered under her breath, speeding off towards the cries of her friend. Instantly she heard hisses and growls following her, and when she turned her head she could clearly see a group of five or six dragons chasing after her. She ran faster, hoping Glaedr was still ok.

The leader grinned, looking Glaedr straight in the eye. She growled under her breath and her followers moved to surround Glaedr. 'Well well Glaedr, it seems you are more stupid than ever' she laughed, stepping towards him. Her mottled hide seemed black and grey in the moonlight, rather than brown and green. She roared once more, waiting for Glaedr to realise who she was.

Ooc: She's back!

Glaedr's eyes narrowed at the dragoness. 'How does she know my name?' He thought, not recognising her at first. He stepped slightly closer to the female, he stared into her eyes for a brief moment, then..realisation hit him. "Huntress?!"

( And worse than ever)

Huntress growled, a growl that was full of all the hatred she had ever had for the clan, especially Glaedr and Aurora. 'Yes, as you can see I have my own clan. We could rip you apart here and now and you would just be another death this clan would have to suffer' she sneered. She began to walk in a slow, intimidating circle around Glaedr, summing up how strong he was.

Aurora crashed through the trees, finally reaching the crowded clearing where Glaedr was. She skidded to a halt and gasped when she saw Huntress. The group that had been chasing her burst out behind her and three or four of them pinned her to the ground roughly. Aurora cried out in pain as their sharp talons and teeth dug into her.

Glaedr bared his fangs at Huntress. "Why are you doing this?!" He growled. He wasn't aware of Aurora's presence until she cried out with pain. He turned his head to see that three dragons had pinned her down. His look of anger turned to a look of worry. He turned back to face Huntress and noticed she was circling him. "Call them off Huntress or else." He said in a half threatening half pleading way.

'Why? Becuase I can, and because of all the damage that worthless clan had caused me' Huntress laughed. She paused beside a large charcoal grey male. 'After you had run off with Aurora I worked out I was being followed, and when I confronted him' she said, nodding towards the male. 'He asked me if I wanted to join him. Of course, after thinking about my life in that clan, I had to say yes'. Huntress almost purred as she thought about the story, and all that she and Kirrio had done in those two years. She cocked her head at Glaedr's demand, and replied with a curt laugh. 'Why would I do that, it isn't as if you could beat all of us if you tried'.

Aurora peered out from her squashed position. It was so strange to see Huntress again, it felt almost as if they were seeing a ghost. Aurora shuddered at her choice of thoughts. She hated to remind herself of what she really was, something she kept trying to run away from. 'Glaedr, just go, I'll be fine' she gasped. She was finding it hard to breathe under the weight of her captors.
