My eyes Opened Weakly, a bright white Light almost blinded me and I blocked it with my hand. So this Is what being dead is like? Well, Its not too Bad. Then i sat up, My head spin but I could see everything Clarly. I was in a room (A Hospital?) And My sister was In a bed next to Me. I looked at my Arm, noticing it was strangley Pale. I shrugged it off And Swung my leg over teh side of The bed, Deeling Strangely numb "Maya Are you awake?" I aske dQuietly.

'Wha'?" I groaned, feeling strangely light, not in pain at all. I remembered biting flames, a large crash....then nothing. I looked around, my vision strangely clear, everything sharp and in bright detail. I sat up, bedsheets surrounding me. "Alex?" I asked, then my gaze focused on someone. She had the same look in her eyes that my sister would have...but she didn't look like anyone I knew.

"Yeah, Its me" I whispered, did i really look that Different? I Yawned adn Sat down On the bed again, ANd flicked Back my hair, Hold On. Id never had to flick back My Hair before, It was shor (I Men, ridiculously short) So How... I Looke din the mirror. whoever Thsi Was, it wasnt me! I suddenly spund round and looked at maya. She LOoked different "Oh My..." i whispered "Maya, look in the mirror.

I glanced in the mirror, expecting to see my normal nlonde-haired self. My blue, no gold eyes widened as I looked back at my pale self, straight black hair swinging around my hips, a startled look on my different face. "What happened?" I half-whispered in horror. Surely nothing could've gone this wrong, wrong enough to change my, no, our, appearances.

I whirled to face my sister, black hair flying in a circle, landing neatly at my hips again as I stopped, my gold eyes wide and scared, slightly paler than before I looked in teh mirror.

I just Stared at my sister, unable to speak. My mouth was completely dry, I Glanced at My reflection again. My Soft deep brown eyes were and Icy Blue, My normay Blonde hair Now a deep honey brown, And shorter than It had been. My skin was pale, MUCH paler than Before. My eyes swung back to my sister aned i couldnt help but smile "Well, You always said you wanted long hair" I pointed Out wryly.

I had to grin, my sister turning a shocking situation into something almost normal, like usual. "I guess so," I said, adding a laugh. "And you always thought brown eyes were boring," I added, unconsiously touching my hip-length black hair as I spoke.

I laughed, his seemed strangely Easy. I brushed my hair back ith one hand, Sweepig it bhind my ear. Now I understood why Maya had wante dlong hair.I Looked Down And Saw A chest fo drawers beside me, That was when I realised we were in some sort fo hpospital gown "UgH" I said "Lets see whats in here" I knelt On teh floor and dug through, Some Jeans, Arfully ripped and fade, And A NAvy blue T-shirt were the first COmfertable looking thinGs I pulled out "See whats in yours" I said, Wondering what they'd given my ister.

I knelt down on the floor, the linoleum tiles cold against her bare knees. I quickly pulled it open, hiding my slightl blash as I began to feel self-consious about the hospital gown I was in. I found some flared jeans, tight at the top and loose near the bottom, sequined on the pockets and pre-ripped along the knees and thighs. I also found a tight fitting tank-top, also slightly sequined, a silvery color that shone slightly, accenting my gold eyes and black hair. "Nice choices," I said, impressed at the outfit.

£"Someone has taste" I remarked. I Pulled the curtain around my bed and got changed "What do you think?" i asked. Feeling strange in the clothes, As if my body didnt seem toi fit right. I Looked at my sister, waiting for an answer.

"You look much prettier than before," I teased, a small laugh rising up in me. I held up a pillow infront of me incase Alex decided to aim a hit in my direction.

I growled Playfull and Tackled Maya onto the bed. punched ehr softly in teh arm "Oh really?" I grinend "Well, Lets see what ;you look like changed"

Get off of me, you great lump!" I laughed, pushing her off lightly.

I laughed and Jumped off the bed. The ease that I stayed upright surprised me, Lets just say i used to be famed at School for being the clumsiest girl in out year,seriously. I sat Back doen on my own bed "Go on, i wont look. Not like its anythin i havent seen before anyway"

"You wont look at what?" I asked, confused. I mentally reveiwed the conversation.
