I suppose I can:

A fresh layer of snow had fallen leaving almost no trace of the white spirit, yet she still feared she'd be found. She treaded on, trhough the deep drifts and freezing waters. "..it's so.. lonely here.." she said to herself as she padded along. She ran a little until she felt she couldn't. When she reached this point, she sat down and shook off the snow, shuddering. "..its so cold today. If I'm not careful I'll become a wolfcicle."

The winds could be heard roughly, mimicking those of splintered icicle shards rolling atop a frozen and barren iced lake. This sound was more then comforting for a dark wolfess that trudged silently along the frost plane. The air would slowly bristle her shoulder pelt, like thick fingers that needed to tug away at something. She was leaving lightly trace indents along the path she was on, which were soon covered by snow that the restless winds would bring along.
Pausing slowly, she could see a small current of dark sapphire water that was still untouched by the freeze of ice atop it. Lowering her head to the small stream, taking a few licks of it's icy cold waters and followed along side it, trying to come to it's source. In deed this only took her a few small moments to find the larger, container of water, which seemed to reflect a half frozen river.

The slender built large femme waded out to where the water lightly curled along her hocks. Huffing slowly she bent her head down, flaking her pink tongue against the surface of the water, filling herself a cold drink. After having sufficed her thirst she made her way back from the side of the half frozen river and leapt onto a broadly chipped bank, covered in thick snow. As dew fell from her whiskers she began looking, wondering if anyone was around aswell before the scent of another wolf crept into her nose cavities.
Swinging her head around she spotted her.. a white fae.. somewhat hiding, her white pelt helping her hide in the snow around her.. Nayelii let a sharp bark eminent from her lips to the white fae, her tail wagging faster now in hopes of this other wolfess would be of a friendly nature as herself.

Tally was a dappled, furry ball inside her small den. She was curled up in a tight ball to sheild herself from the cold and try to encase as much body heat as possible. She blinked sleepily as a snowflake landed on her nose, melting into cold water. She sat up, the cold touch waking her, and making her tassled ears twicth in surprise and annoyance. She looked putside at the secluded, snowy forest, ruffling her pelt and making it stick out in icy spikes to try and warm her cold body up. Not that it worked.

Neon raised her ears and turned to this other wolf. She twitched her ears and tail lightly. She barked a quiet bark. Standing upright slowly. She wasn't sure if this one was friendly but she sure hoped so. She needed someone around, even if just to say hi to every now and again. The snow falling on her already very white pelt, lightly coating her fur before she shook it off. She barked again, this time more curiously, pinning her ears back for a moment waiting for a response. "Friend?" She questioned quietly towards the other wolfess.

[color=#800000]Barks echoed in Tally's ears, making the tassles swing as they twitched once again. Curious yet annoyed at the same time, she stood up and slunk out into the snow. Shaking some loose ice off her dappled coat, she walked towards the barks had originated from, sticking to trees and shadows just incase they were hostile. Soon her amber eyes were gazing out of a bush at two female wolves. She heard a soft word uttered.

"Friend?"

THinking this a good sign, meaning she was friendly, she stepped out of the bush softly.

A tall, thin wolf faltered in the cold white substance that covered the ground quite densely. It paused momentarily, catching its breath. It breathed in the crisp air that blew in gusts towards him, tugging at his multi-colored hide, freezing the warm, sticky red liquid that had been oozing down its side and dripping to the snow below. Single droplets of this warm liquid, dissolving the snow, staining it red, as if it were a tiny wildfire that was eating up the grasses on some far away plain where the air was hot and dry. The wolf valued the wind; it would bring to him the scent of everything that lay ahead and cover his tracks. It would not, however, cover the scent of his blood. That was what worried him.

For the moment, though, he allowed the wind to overcome him, closing his eyes and taking in every wisp of scent that happened to flow into his nares. The main scent was the brisk aroma that traveled with winter, but there was more. He could make out the smell of water; fresh, running water, not yet frozen over in this icy, barren landscape, though it was far off. He also detected the faint smell of another wolf, perhaps more than one...and...a feline? Lynx perhaps? He wasn't sure, but this unnerved him. He couldn't go back, but he couldn't risk going onward; his weakened state would increase the risk of an attack. He opened his eyes, returning to the world that surrounded him, not the one that lay ahead.

He pressed on, staggering as he went. The pain in his side from the wound was numb and dull by now, but he knew if he moved too quickly, he would lose more blood than was necessary. His mind was busy with the dilemma he was slowly but steadily approaching. If he went on, he risked getting attacked, and he was in no condition to defend himself against an assault. Perhaps he should stop? Dig a temporary den in the snow? Just until the threat ahead passed. But that was too risky. It was very possible that he was being pursued, and every second that passed without movement allowed the enemy to creep closer. Either way, he risked being attacked, again, and possibly killed.

He decided it was best to continue on. He'd rather deal with the strangers ahead than the...acquaintances...behind. At least the wind was still blowing towards him, and for that, he was thankful.

"Mmhm" She whispered before quickly trotting towards the lighter furred female, her long strides her her with in two meters from the other one now. The wind had died down just a bit as it traversed along her neck like thick fingers, webbing her thick nail-silver pelt aside. Her docile colored, honey eyes were further emphasized with a wolfish smile, the ends of her canines slightly exposed in a friendly demeanor. her thickly furred black tail wagged back and forth slowly as her sharp eyes veiled this female over before speaking.

"My name's Nayelii.. who are you?"The young fae titled her head some, wrinkling her black and liver kissed nose as her audits pressed forward, the darker, course hair within them that protected her keen ears clearly visible. Before the white female spoke, the sound of fresh snow being touched on came to her auds as she slowly leaned her furred head from the wolf to the right, spotting a dark feral lynx. Nayelii knew these animals avoided wolves any chance they could get. She didn't know whether to growl at it or just speak to it so for now Nayelii just stood there, staring back at the lynx and then back to the female.

As the slightly larger dark framed female stood there, her ears kept rotating backwards, towards the river behind her.. she could feel something further beyond it's regimen which unnerved the normally calm femme. Being polite she side step, to have the river in near sight of her peripherals while still looking at both the oncoming lynx and the white female. Her tail would continue to sway to and fro in unchanged dismay as her bright and carting expression never left her face, with one aud tipped in the direction of the river.. just in case...

Th snow pelted female perked her nicely shaped ears and twitched them only slightly. Glancing towards the feline for a moment. She gave a soft yip towards it, flicking her tail a little - she was curious to who this lynx was as well.. She then turned back towards this other female. "I'm... Neon, Neon is my name." She barked softly, as she shifts her paws in the snow. "It's nice to meet you." She too could smell something in the air, filling his nostrils as she shifts slowly. The wind blowing as she gets a growing feeling that another was approaching that wasn't already there. She hoped for the sake of the one she had just met that it wasn't a pack member or a threat.

The male wolf picked up his pace, only slightly, being careful not to irritate his wound any further. Each digit of his large paws were splayed, trying to keep from sinking too deep into the cold snow. For some reason, he felt compelled to interact with the strangers; perhaps it was because he was gradually losing his sanity from the lack of some, or any, social correlation. Sure, he'd been in some recent scraps and fights - his wound was proof of that - but he craved something a little friendlier.

He was becoming desperate, now. He could tell he was getting closer, but it'd still be a little while before he'd reach them if he kept this pace. He entered a slow trot, then increased, forcing his paws, numb with cold, to carry him swiftly over the desolate scape, as they had done many times before, but he still stumbled here and there. His side wailed in protest, but he focused his mind solely on reaching his destination. The wind, though it had since diminished to a slight breeze, wove its transparent fingers through his rich winter pelt, however it only skimmed over the areas matted with blood. This liquid was now streaming out of the laceration, steaming with freshness and heat in the cold environment, and leaving a bit more than just a few droplets wherever the male wolf set his paws.

He continued on like this for several moments. His chest began to heave in a struggle to provide enough oxygen to keep his exhausted limbs moving; he had not rested in days. The terrain beneath his paws began to differ, adopting a slight incline, which grew to form a small hillock. As the wolf neared its peak, he slowed. Before him lay more vast stretches of ice and snow, and on the far horizon, mountains. But what he also found was a small grove of trees, the river, and three living, breathing organisms. The two wolves were fae; he could easily detect their unique scent from his viewpoint. They didn't seem to have threatening postures, but how would they react to a stranger? He briefly flicked his auds towards the grove of trees, near which the feline stood. It was indeed a lynx, and also a femme. It was a surprise to see one out in the open, and in such close proximity wolves.

The male wolf's desperation subsided. He noted that the river separated himself from the others, but it wouldn't make much of a difference. It was half frozen and could be crossed effortlessly. He could feel his side growing hot from being stretched, feel the warm blood trickling down his foreleg, staining and eating away at the snow surrounding his left paw. He knew they'd be able to scent the blood; they'd know he was injured, weak. But would they attack?

Hearing the wolfess's name uttered, Tally decided to utter her own, although she had shifted her gaze away. "My name is Tally," she introduced. She stepped farther out of the bushes, shaking some snow off her dappled pelt. THe bush was snow laden, and had left tiny white flakes on her body.

Sorry, writers' block

The wind blew against Neon lightly, blowing through her thick white pelt, it blew the snow from her pelt as she perked her ears forward. She turned towards the lynx. She nodded some and then glanced back at Nayelii. She had picked up the scent of the male, she could smell the blood. She looks around for a moment before turning in his direction. She flicked her tail some, her ears shifting back and then forward once - she letting out a some bark, welcoming him almost it. Neon listened quietly to the silence that seemed to surround them all. There had to be a reason, she was now meeting so many. if they weren't so friendly she would have thought it to be a trap. She pushed all her thoughts aside and wagged his tail lowly slowly.
