"What are you looking at?" Kali asked suspiciously, narrowing one jade-green eye.
Zane used his hoverboard he had managed to bring to skim the ground near the river, where bushed grew to hide him, but metal still lingered. He stopped the board as he caught Kali's question above the roar of water.

Kali's suspicion subsided somewhat, but a subtle doubt that the city was the only thing she was looking back at remained. SHe owuld have to keep an eye on her friend.
"I'll miss it too Emery-la," Kali said softly, pretending to go along with it, like she thought that Emery's possible lie was true.
Zane breathed a sigh of releif as Kali dropped it, and her continued on, following them.

Ooc:// For the record, it's charade. ^^
Kali noticed the glance out of the corner of her green eye but didn't say anything. Her brunette hair was blown back again as she removed her hand from Emery's arm and rode fast, the wind whipping her hair and jacket in a frenzy, chilling her more. It only made the world sharper, so she didn't care much.

Kali shrugged. "Maybe when the sun rises? We don't want Cable mad at us for being late," she said, rolling her eyes.

Ooc:// For the record, you don't have to censor crap.
"Hmmmm," Kali said. "Let's just rest here for the night, then we can pick up on the tracker signal again," she said, edging her board towards the towering and decripit ruins.

Zane saw the signal and nodded as if she culd see him through the scrub he was hidden by. HE slowed his board, wanting to wait util Kali was asleep unyil actually finding somehweres to rest.
Kali smiled at her friend. "I am too Emery-la." she agreed. She tipped the board forward and it shot off towards the ruins, the wind once agian whipping and tangling her already messy hair.

"THat one," Kali said, pointing to a strudy looooking one. It still had most of it's supports, and the floor and partly crumbled wall were still mostly intact and in good shape. SHe coaxed her board towards it, glad that the ruins were full of metal. SHe liked to save her solar powered fans for when she needed them.

Kali stepped lightly off her board, and she walked over to where Emery was, the board following the signal from her crash bracelets. She twisted them, truning them off and the board stayed still.
