Rue scented a small deer, only a fawn, lost without it's mother by her side.Rue dropped into a crouch, stealthily sneaking up behind the deer and pouncing on it. The fawn was bowled over, pushed to the ground, it's large eyes wide with fear. She ended it's terror with a swift and long bite to the neck. It fell limp, the life fading from it's large brown eyes. She dragged it over to where Eternity was with his catch, a small rabbit, then let it flop to the leaf-strewn forest floor.

Rue's mouth watered as she bit into the deer, the salty and fatty taste filling her mouth. Her brown eyes closed in half pleasure as she finsihed the bite.

Rue couldn't finishe the whole deer, but she ate a pretty big chunk out of it. She licked the excess traces of the prey off of her light colored muzzle.
