"Ok. We better be nice, so they take us home though." Mischief stated and he went over to Bailey and Rufus and laid his head on Rufus' shoes, and acted like he was about to go to sleep.
"Aww, they're tired. Now we can get them home." bailey waited for her pup to get tuckered out.
Rufus bent over and picked up Mischief, and held him against himself, stroking his fur.
Mischief looked up at Rufus with a cute, sleepy expression. He licked his face. He also winked at Sadie, his plan was working.

Sadi smiled, then collapsed near Bailey's feet, curling up into a ball of lightly colored fur.

Bailey grinned, and picked up her pup, and then they led the other teens over to the place where they found the pups, "There's where they were, you can get one." She then walked out of the woods, and into the town. "C'mon Rufus. if we already have supplies and stuff, we could probably convince our parents."
Mischief did fall asleep, and he was still asleep when they walked into the pet store. He was woken up when they fitted a collar and lead onto him, and he was placed onto the ground, "Help!" he yipped, feeling the cool tile against his paws, and the lead and collar on his neck, but then he remembered to be good. He trotted after the boy and girl, growling a bit to himself.
"He's almost already leash-trained." Rufus said, as he was carring the bags that he had gotten from the store. "Ok, you get the food, I'll take the chews. Mischief loves to chew..."
"Ok," Bailey said, her pup following on it's lead too. She took the bag, and showed it to Sadie, "This is your food, puppy! You'll love it!" she patted her head, and then tugged on the leash, "C'mon, pup!"
OOC: Maybe we should wait... A few more posts, and then we have to let Jordan263 catch up.

Sadie followed, the collar scratchy against her neck, pushing on her fur. She sat down and scratched at it, whining slightly.

Bailey stopped, "It's ok, puppy, it's ok. What should I name you anyways? Puppy is geting old... Maybe Sadie. My mom used to have a dog named that. Another good way to get her to accept you." She looked at the collar, "Is it too tight?" she said, and checked it, but it was fine.
"Uh, Bailey? Why'd you stop?" Rufus questioned. He stopped too, and walked back towards her, "Puppy's collar too tight or something?"
"No, I think it's just that she doesn't like it. I wouldn't either. it's like breaking in new shoes." She petted the pup again, "Anyways, I named her Sadie. C'mon, though. We need to get home."

Nick looked in the last pup's eyes. "You look like a Marley," He said as he picked him up. "That's what I'll call you." Nick's parents were on a cruise ship. His Mom said to go out and adopt a dog, and if he did a good job with him he could keep it.
Marley was suprised. He didn't know who Nick was, or even what he was, but he liked how he smelled. He licked Nick's nose. "Hi," he barked. He looked up at Nick as to say, "I'm hungry, Feed me."
Luckily, Nick had a collar and leash in his back-pack. He let Marley smell it before he put it on. Then he hooked the leash on the collar. He caught up with the others. "What's her name?" she asked Bailey.

"Sadie." Bailey said, "Rufus' is Mischief." she looked at Nick, "What's yours?"
Rufus smiled, "Yeah, his name's Mischief, cuz that's what he's full of."
Mischief panted and yipped at hearing the word.

Nick smiled. "His name is Marley." he replied. He smiled. "Do you think they wanna go for a ride?" he asked.
Marley barked, "Yes, I wanna go for a ride!" He jumped up on Nick's legs. "Take me for a ride!" he barked.
Nick laughed. "Marley does." he said.

"Nah, I'd rather walk." Bailey said, gently tugging on Sadie's leash, "It's better for the pups to become leash trained, you know."
"So do I, for the just about the same reason, and we're near my house already." Rufus stated, "Don't want my parents to freak for me being late and bringing home a new puppy."
Mischief barked and ran in front of them, but the leash ran out, and he choked a bit on it, so he stopped walking for a second so he could catch his breath, "So, your name's Marley now?" he barked at Marley.
Bailey stopped too when Mischief choked, but when he was ok, she laughed, "Mischief, you can't run that far out, the leash does end at some point!"

Nick looked at Marley. "We'll go for a ride later." he said gently. "Well, I'll see you guys tomarrow."
Marley looked at Mischief. "Yep." he barked. He saw Nick was walking the other way. "Well I'll see you tomarrow." he barked as he walked away.

"See ya!" Rufus said, and he walked down the street.
Mischief followed him, after yipping, "See ya, leater, Marley!"
"See ya!" Bailey walked up her road, and up her driveway. She picked the pup up, and carried it to her room, past her parents. They didn't even notice. She got it's new home all set up.

Sadie sniffed the air eagerly, her ears pricked forward. She wagged her tail again, looking up at Bailey. She pulled on the leash slighty, the new smells that filled her nose eciting her.
"Let go of the leash already!" she barked, her paws scrabbling against the wood floor.

Bailey took the leash off Sadie, after closing the door. She left the collar on though, "Alright, here, you stay in this bed-" she pointed to a doggy bed- "while I go get you some meat out of the fridge. I'll say i'm hungry if they ask, cuz I'm going to get myself some too."
Rufus set Mischief down on his bed, and closed the door, "Ok, pup, you stay here while I fill your bowl." he put some table scraps in it, and a bit of dog food, and picked him up and put him by the bowl, after taking his leash off, and closing the door. "Go ahead and eat, bud."
Mischief wagged his tail and burried his muzzle down into the food, expecting some wonderful meat, but he tasted some dry kernel-like-bits of food. He ate the table scraps first, and then refused to eat the dog food, even though it was one of the "best" kinds. He turned around and layed his head on his paws.

Sadie immediatly ran of after she was freed from the leash. First she ran into the living room, the television on and blaring sound. She looked at the moving pictures, amazed. Where they trapped inside the box? THe thought got her slightly worried, and she let out a few concerned barks. What if they needed help? She winced as a car crashed on the flickering screen.

"Sadie, shh!" Bailey said, and grabbed her before she could run into her parent's room. She carried her back to her room, "You stay here. Don't go bother my parents, they'll kick you out into the streets, not the woods, or call the Pound."
Rufus looked at the pup, "You OK? You didn't eat much." he tried to hand-feed him.
Mischief turned his head again after Rufus tried to hand-feed him. "Uh-oh. Well, a sick Mischief or an out-on-the-streets-but-well Mischief? I choose the first, becuase you're not sick, you probably don't like the food, you're wild." Rufus said. He picked up on of the new toys he bought for Mischief, and put it in front of him.
Mischief sniffed at the toy, and just about ignored it. He bit it when Rufus looked at him with a worried expression though. it then sqeaked, scaring the poor pup.
