"Oh, yes!" Loki sprang on the box, ripping out a slice of the pizza, "I love pizza!" he sighed, happily. He finished it, and sat down. "So, where do you stay? I hang out by the junkyard, and the woods too."

Sadie shrugged. "I move around alot, I don't stay in any place to long. They put a tracker on me somehow," she said, flicking the ear that the tag was placed on. "I can't get this thing off, so I have to move alot," she said, wondering if they were coming right now.

"Ok, well I could probably get out, by ripping off part of your ear, but that would be painful. I move around too, there's a lot of space in the woods." he said, still sitting.

Sadie looked at Loki hopefully. "You could get it out? I don't care how painful it is, please, do it!" she said, stepping near him, her almond eyes shining at him.

He bit at the tag, and the ear a bit too, and it and part of the ear fell to the groung. "There, it probably hurts like all get out, but there, hope you're happy."

Sadie winced, letting out a small cry as it was torn. "Thank you Loki," she said, staring at the tag distastefully. "Lets get out of here before they come, find somewhere else for a while," she said.

"OK," Loki said, "follow me, we can hide in the junkyard'" He started to walk in tht directon, "it'll be fun there, we can hide."

"Ok," she said, her voice soft again. Sadie followed him, glad to be leaving the beeping tag behind.

He started running fter she started following him, "It's good to move fast, people can't really see you, but if I need to slow down, just bark." He also loved wind in his face, which is also why he ran so much.

die caught up with him, her long legs closing the distance quickly. "How far is it?" she asked.

"Oh, about halfway across town. Far enough from the humans." He panted a little, and let hi tongue fly out of his mouth, "You might as well enjoy the run, though!"

Sadie smiled as his tongue lagged oyt of his mouth, waving in the wind that he created by running like a flag in the breeze.

"This is SO fun!" he said, loudly, and he ran even faster, but slowed for Sade to catch up, "Do you even know where the junkyard is?"

She shook her head. "No, I've never been there before," she said. "Are thhere other dogs there, or will it be just us?"

"Just us, the others hang out on one side, we'll be on the other, why?" Loki questioned her. "Does it matter? They don 't hate us, they're mutts themseves."
