oooh ok but do you think Zira would actually kill one of her own cubs?She cared for Nuka when he died right?

Here's my take on it: Zira used to be a realtively normal lioness who truely did love Scar completely. Seeing him die destabilized her mentally. However, I think it was being banished that caused her to utterly snap. She outright said she was 'exiled, persutcuited, left alone with no defense', she was pretty much abandoned. She had her cubs, sure, but presumibly the Outlanders weren't with her at first. Scar's death made her mentally unstable, being banished and left alone made her go insane.

In my perspective, I think Zira was probably framed for whatever she was exiled for, she mentioned Simba LAST in My Lullaby, after the exiled and pursacuited, which she counted as one thing. Then she says "When I think of what that brute did", that brute being Simba and probably killing Scar. So I think she was probably tormented for being Scars wife and exiled for something she didn't do (think about it, how easy would it be to frame Scar's widow?).

As for threatening her daughter, its rather simple. Nuka dying shattered what sanity she had left. After Nuka died, Zira went completely insane to the point what love she had for her children was gone.

In the end, I don't think Zira was really evil, I think she was a broken mind who'd snapped due to loss and persecution.

My take on it anyway, but the point is, Zira is pretty dang complex.
