I suppose Killer was doing fine back in Orlens and had no reason to be dropped off somehow in Frisco...I do adore him as a character but he had no reason to be in ADGTH 2 for the purpose of, as you said, Carface taking his role.

I'm not a fan of the sequel. At all. All of the magic and charm from the first is completely gone. Charlie should NEVER go back to Earth...I mean his sacrifice was the whole point! Itchy should not have been killed-he was supposed to stay with Anne-Marie!! Bluth had no hand in this "cheapquel" as I'm sure he was against the idea. I really sort of wish this sequel had never been made...and since the original creators had nothing to do with it, I do not view it as canon.
Sorry to the fans who like it but I reeeeeally disliked this one. I don't like anything about it.

XD I mean, no, they're nowhere near as fun as the books but I still really like them. The writing could use some work as far as dialogue and plot points and what should be kept out/kept in from the books. But I love the actors. They do a pretty brilliant job. Sometimes I even prefer the movie versions of the characters to their written counterparts. I didn't like Snape until Alan Rickman played him. NOBODY could play a better Snape!!

Yes, we will go back on topic now. XD Anyway when animated sequels change voice actors for characters, that really bothers me. It's hard for me to enjoy the movie. This may feel silly to some but it just....really really bugs me and the character is no longer the same character to me! So I couldn't connect with Charlie in this one. He is not the same Charlie to me. But it's not just his voice but OOCness. Which I blame the writers for. >_>

I never heard of All Dogs Go To Heaven.. and I never would have.. if it weren't for the sequel.. of course the problem with sequels are usually the quality is never good as the first.. but .. sequels are indirectly promotion of the first. I doubt people would pay money to watch a movie that flopped in the past.. 1989 to be specific, because of the been there done that situation.. but if there's something new on the table.. well.. at least people will come to like it and maybe look at the movie before the sequel.. which basically I did. Due.. to seeing the sequel first.. I feel more neutral about it..

Personally, I think the second movie isn't worth a dime of my money. First one was good, but they ruined it with the sequal. And Ann Marie, cannot be replaced so easily, cuz that brat David isn't a very good character.

If that's your opinion, on the movie that's fine, but like Mo said, it was the second movie that caught my eye, and it's the second movie that's my favorite. And, What? I never knew there were books... I knew that the movie was kinda based off the title of the book.

I watched the orignal one first, and the sequal, watched years after, so yeah, I think the second movie is worthless.

I think the first one was better. I loved both films, though.
