Sitka sighed in relief, he had prayed that the wolf was kind and the ancients had responded to his plead. He brushed his tail across the snow, clearing a space for him to sit, and sat down with a thump. He was still a wolfling, just recently leaving his home where wolves are cared for until old enough to care for themselves. This had been his third hunt with Rue at his side, and he wasn't used to hunting just yet.

"We haven't really gotten to adjust to the harsh ways of the wolf yet." He said, hoping he wasn't giving too much away to Terra.

Rue stared at the silver wolfess, her amber eyes wide with surprise. "How did you do that" she asked, striving to keep her vioce level and calm. She was amazed by this, no wolf she had ever known was able to do that. Heal a wound, by sticking it in her mouth....that was not normal, not for any wolf, or wolfess.

Luna smiled, lighting up her face, her blue eyes bright and clear. She strode forward, each step long and slow all the way, her head turning to take in all details and everything about this Earth.

Sitka tilted his head and gazed at his healed paw. It still had a faint ache but the fiery sting had vanished. In amazement, he looked from Terra to Rue and back again.

"Yah...that's phenomenal! How did you...?" He asked, a spark of hostility in his eyes.

He realized this wolf was like no other. He hadn't met any wolf before with golden eyes and such a power to heal wounds. Sitka was about to confront her but his eyes had grown heavy with sleep and he could not hold them open any longer. He lay on the dry spot below himself and rested his head on his paws, exhaustion overcoming him.

Terra gulped, she didn't want them to know who she really was, "I-It was just a trick, I learned" She said warmly. Her ears lowered slightly but then pricked back up a few minutes later, suddenly her ears twitches up. She could sense another spirit was near by, she felt it was the moon spirit. Her tail began to wag slightly, she turned to Rue and Sitka, "Someone's near by" She said so happily that Terra had surprised her own self. She sniffed the air and looked around franticly, then she let out a silent yip that only spirits and Gods could hear, then she smiled and waited for the moon spirit to appear.

Sitka sniffed the air, he could detect no scent. He sniffed until he felt as though his nose would turn inside out when he caught the faintest scent of another wolf.

"Wow. I would never have scented another wolf like that." He complemented.

"S-Sitka" He stammered, gazing at the two wolves curiously.

"You both. You-" He broke off and shook his head.

These wolves could not possibly be the great ancients of earth and moon. Sitka cursed himself for even thinking about the foolish possibility.

"Uh...you just...reminded me of someone. No big deal." He said quickly and scraped the ground with his paw awkwardly.

Far away from Terra, Luna, Rue, and Sitka, something awful was happening. The sky began to tremble mildly, then violently. The clouds were thrown from side to side and then all was still. A great flash of purple spread all over the sky, in view of Sitka and the others. Then, something started to fall from the sky, fire surrounding it as it passed through the atmospheres. It changed direction and was heading straight towards the spot where they stood.

Sitka angled his ears toward a low buzzing noise. When he looked up, he saw something was heading towards them. He let out a yelp and stared wide eyed at whatever was coming towards them.

Terra was the first to react to the spirit falling towards them, if theis spirit was to hit the ground, the impact could kill Sitka and Rue, but since Luna and Terra were spirist it would not harm them. The whimpered quietly then turned to the two wolves, "You must run...now!" Terra said nudging the two wolves to start running. Terra turned her head to Luna and gave her a dreadful glance then turned her attention on the two wolves. For some strange reason she wanted to protect but she seemed very intrested in them, espically in Sitka, she found her self quite fond of him.

Sitka leapt from his spot on the ground and dashed after Rue. His heart thudded but for some reason, he did not loose his breathe like he did when he was hunting. He glanced over his shoulder to see the gigantic thing coming towards them was pretty small but engulfed in purple flames. He ran faster then ever before, keeping his belly close to the snowy ground and feeling the cold wind pierce his cheeks as he flashed past.

The spirit zooming towards them soon lost altitude and fell into the earth with a booming THUD! The flames, now cooled a bit and red like the sun flared a moment until the fire sunk into the snow and vanished. The impact cracked the earth, sending two to ten feet deep cracks about 1000 feet from the spirit. Zein lay in the deep crater, her shining wolf chest faintly rising and falling. She was unconscious but she could not die.

Sitka yelped again as the ground fell away below him and he jumped to one side. He looked down to see a huge crack has formed under his paws.

"Rue! Luna! Terra!" He howled, calling to his friends.

He looked back at the fallen object to see it has landed. Smoke billowed from the ground and he could see the last flare of the red flame sink into the snow and vanish.

"It landed!"
