It's possible to have four 2TB HDDs, and stripe them in pairs to create two 4TB volumes, but that's not the same thing as having two 4TB hard drives. It's not the same, no, but as long as it works like two 4TB drives I doubt anyone's really going to care much beyond the educational level.

A person who would run that kind of rig (if those parts did exist today) would probably know and most likely name the manufacturer of the various parts. If I know that there is now such thing as a 4tb drive i would not tell people that i got one. Agreed. Staying on topic: I've got a crap HP computer with 6gb RAM & a dual-core CPU not worth mentioning. I am, however, going to upgrade to this (Mac Pro) in the future (if I can ever raise the $12,000+ for it): Quote: Two 2,93 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon "Westmere" (12 cores) DDR3 ECC SDRAM 32 GB (8 x 4 GB) Mac Pro RAID Card 2 TB, 3 Gb/sec, serial ATA-harddrive with 7200 rpm 2 TB, 3 Gb/sec, serial ATA-harddrive with 7200 rpm 512 GB SSD-disk (solid-state drive) 2 TB, 3 Gb/sec, serial ATA-harddrive with 7200 rpm 1 GB ATI Radeon HD 5870 Quad-channel 4Gb Fibre Channel PCI Express card

Wow, LC. I don't see a single streetlight. Hehe - I'm bumping this topic cause I like it, it's on the second page, and cause I can. My station while I'm at my internship. Giant tablet on my lap. I use a PC of somesorts with Windows 7. Which fried a few things on my laptop, but that's cause it had to be downloaded. It's a good program otherwise.

I remember that laptop and tablet when I was visiting you. xD
Except when I visited you it had Windows Vista.. But the tablet was the same though. xD
I need to take a pic of how I set up my computer on the table...
I don't need a tablet though cause the screen on this computer is a tablet. xD

I have had my old laptop (The one you see in that pic that I took up there^ xD) Since I got it new in 2008.
Now its really worn and the keyboard is a wreck...
This new computer should work nicely though. The keyboard is by far a better design.
I wonder how long I will have this computer... xD
