The Lion KIng came first too.. and as we know there are a few similarities between the two movies. I once heard TLK was loosely based around Hamlet too which might add to it.

I think Bob Hoskins is Russian. For some reason i like that accent people from london have(no insult) and it doesent sound to me like it was that london accent.

Why is it that a lot of people can't get their heads round the idea of putting on an accent? I can do an Irish accent but I'm not Irish. To quote Team America "that's why they call it acting".

lol, ron from harry potter!!

Well, he can be a little of both. In my opinion, london and russian accents sounds almost exactly alike...if they are at all.

LOL they don't sound anything like each other... that's like me sayhing the American accent sounds just like Jamaican accent lol.

The London accent is actually refered to as "Cockney" and is famous for the rhyming slang used to confuse tourists e.g. china plate = mate, bubble bath = laugh. It is quite close to Muk and Luks accent in the original but more so in the sequels..

Hmm...

Well, after some research, I found that Bob Hoskins is actualy British. So unless you think an English accent sounds somewhat like a Russian one, well...
