"Well, the gym leaders all used to be humans. But since they're gone, we pokemon are the gym leaders now." he grinned. "In you're world there were no such things as gym leaders?" Blake asked, tilting his head slightly.

"Memory gone, remember?" asked Martha, a little sacastically. "We probably do, I just can't remember...I seem to remember teams though, like a human had a of team of Pokemon they worked with, but humans are gone here, so how does that work?" she asked, still confused.

"We're all one team. There's a leader who helps coordinate what the others should do, and the others follow at their own will." he said, then laughed. "Sorry, I can't get used to the fact you lost you're memory." He stopped laughing and began to walk forward. "You coming? We can talk along the way."

Martha thought it out and nodded. "I'll be part of your team...but lets keep it quiet that I'm human, you almost didn't believe me, so I doubt anyone else will." she said, following him. "I mean maybe if we recruit other team member and I know I can completely trust them, but no one else." she said. "So how do I join?" she asked, to join, she needed to be regestored to a Poke Ball in Blake's poccession, basically get sucked into one and and come back out. Civilized Pokemon normally just gave their Poke Ball to their leader, but of course, Martha didn't have one.

"Alright, no problem there. To join, all you need to do is hand me your pokeball. Unless you don't have one?" Blake asked, waiting. He then realized Martha probably didn't. "Well, just go in here and come back out. That should do the trick," he said then showed her an example. He took out his own pokeball to show her. "Look, this is my pokeball. We use them to get better if we can't travel to the Pokemon Center."

Martha blinked, this seemed familure. She poked the white button on the Poke Ball and soon found herself turned into a red light and sucked into the ball. She was started when she got inside and found what seemed like a miniture envirnment that was actuelly pretty comfortable, for a Pokemon. Once she heard the sound of the Poke Ball locking, she concentraited on getting out and was soon outside the Poke Ball where she started. "Wow, who'd have thought its so roomy in there!" she said, suprised. "So basically, if I get beat up in a Pokemon battle and can't move, you'll put me in there to recover?...What happens if the entire team can't move? You included?"

"Well if the entire team is injured, then what happens is that everyone goes inside their pokeballs and we are taken to the Pokemon Center." Blake said, then winked. He motioned for her to follow him. He began to walk along stiff rocks and through trees and shrubs.

Martha nodded, following. She did enjoy the fresh air though, it was really nice. "The world sure is a beutiful place, huh?" she asked. "I don't know what mine looked like, but I wonder if it was this nice."

Tuck was with his team nearby. "Ok, so the Viridian City Gym is closed, we'll need to go to Pewter City to get a badge." he said. He then heard voices. "You guys hear something?"

"It sure is. But I'm sure yours was too." Blake soon began to climb up rocks, unaware that their voices were being heard.

Lightning nodded and said, "I sure do."

Jake looked around and sniffed the air. "I know one of them is a riolu, but I can't tell the scent of the other. I've never smelled it before."

ooc: like in the game how when they came to the place, the diglet couldn't identify them? ;D

Tuck nodded and followed the voices, leading the team till he saw the Charmander and Riolu climbing up some rocks. "Well looks like we have some rookies here." he whispered. "What do you say we do about that?" he asked, smiling mischviously.

Martha started climbing as well. "So is the gyms the only thing you can do or are there other options?"

Blake shook his head. "No, there are plenty of other things to do, it's just fun to do battle." he laughed.

Lightning grinned. "It'd be fun if we just show them the rules of this place." He grinned a bit more now, as he thought about how much fun it would be to mess with the rookies.

"Fresh bait." Jake grinned.

"Nah, not yet, we'll beat them up next time, see we don't know how much skill these two have." said Stunky. "And if I'd rather figure that out before we fight and risk a butt kicking." he said. "I'll just mess with them, watch." he said, dashing ahead. Once they'd come up off the rocks, he popped out and sprayed a terrible smelling gas on them from the base of his tail. He could chose whether it'd stick for 24 hours or not. He chose not to make them suffer that long, just till the stink blew away. He dashed off before they could follow him.

Martha blinked when a Stunky ran in front of them and sprayed gas on them. The moment she smelled it, her eyes watered. "Peeyew!" she cried, covering her nose quickly, coughing. "Ugh! That really stinks!"

Blake covered his nose as the gas came over them "Yuck!" he said in a muffled tone. He looked around, but couldn't see anyone around. He took his hand (or paw) from his nose and tried to direct the stink another direction.

Lightning and Jake snickered as they watched the two suffer the gas.

Martha gagged. "What was with that Pokemon?!" she cired, tears running down her cheeks from the nasty smell. "We didn't do anything to him." she coughed, finally the smell started to clear enough she could take a breath without gaging. "What was that stinky little Pokemon anyway?" she said, fanning her nose with one hand while still covering it with the other. "I mean what species?"

Tuck got back to his team and smiled when he heard Martha call him a 'stinky little Pokemon', actuelly proud he stunk so bad. "That'll mess with them." he whispered to his team mates.

Blake finally regained oxygen and answered, "I'm not sure, but it was probably a stunky." He coughed twice more. "An unfriendly one at that."

Lightning snickered some more. "You showed em' good!"

Jake laughed. "Yeah, good one!"
