14 year old Skye is a normal kid, until one simple game of truth or dare. She and her friends, Lark, Bridgette, Connor who were also 14, and 13 year old Mort joined in the game, and it changed their lives forever. They were dared to go to a haunted house that had been standing on the side of an abandoned street for years. Haunted house really didn’t do the decrepit building justice though. It was something that would even terrify a grown man. Unable to back down, they accept the challenge.
The next day they go to the run down and large house. Taylor and Lark chickened out before setting foot in the rocky yard. Mort was killed when they stepped foot into the house, Skye and Connor getting away barely, with only a few what looked like bite marks to show for it. They soon collapsed in agony, having been bitten by a vampire and a werewolf, but only partly, so they were still partly human. Connor was a werewolf, human mix, Skye a human, vampire mix. It dawned on them what had happened soon after the changes were complete.
They had been changed, and remade into something that they had no wish to be. They tried leaving the decrepit house, stopped by a few vampires, and a few werewolves. The managed to fight their way through, and got out. People had been dared before to go into the building, and they had turned up dead, or not at all. So they had been presumed dead, having been in there for a day or two without coming out. When they tried to see their family, and rejoin with the world, they were thought living dead, which in truth wasn’t to far off.
Now they have to make the two different worlds collide, and keep peace between the two species. But it isn’t made easy for them. Vampires and werewolves have been sent out to stop them, they don’t want to be joined with humans, they want to stay secret and undetected. So they are both thought dead, have to make two different species’ worlds collide, and are being chased by rabid vampires and werewolves. Somewhere in the trauma, Skye and Connor have bonded, closer than ever before when they were human. Something grows between them. Something new. Love.


Ok, I was asking someone's opinion for the plot of my novel. So, what do you guys think?
