Rue lept in, her muscles clenching nervously. She was buffeted by huge gusts of wind, until it suddenly stopped. She saw Nook, her cta eyes able to see in the darkness that surrounded them. "Nook?" she asked tentivaly.

Nook jumped up, his fur as puffed up as a bush from anger. "If we get hurt, it's NOT MY FAULT!" he yelled, his tail sticking straight out, then he dropped to the ground and sighed.

Vetch looked around as the portal closed slowly. "Where... is this place?" he said, his voice echoing.

"I don't know," Rue said, looking around curiously. "And Nook, shhhhh. No one is blaming you, and no one is getting hurt," she said slowly and patiently, trying to keep annoyance from creeping into the simple sentence.

All of a sudden, Vetch's paws are tied together by a net of yellow, shining goo. "What is this?" Vetch yelped as he fell to the ground.

Rue's paws were quickly tied after Vetch's, and she struggled ti free them. "How am I supposed to know?!' she cried, her violet eyes wide and paniced. WHat was happening?

Nook was was enveloped entirely by the netting goo, and no matter how hard he struggled, he couldn't break free.

All of a sudden, a creature that looked like a giant green lizard emerged from the shadows with a net gun. "Salutations." he greeted. "I'm afraid you're not welcome here. I shall now take you to our prison, where you will certainly not be comfortable, but we will do what we can." His voice was like a robot's or a recording's, and he smiled throughout the entire conversation.

Rue stared at the giant lizard, rage showing clearly in her purple eyes. "Prison?!" she spat. "You can not be serious!" she said, her voilet eyes narrowing, her claws unsheathing, even though she couldn't actually use them.

"I am quite serious." the lizard replied, unphased. "Now the truck to bring you to the prison will be here momentarily." And with that, a self-driven truck pulled up, but it was balancing on one single ball in the center instead of four wheels. "Here it is." the lizard said.

Vetch found himself suddenly in the truck, the effect of teleportation from the alien.

Nook was in the truck, but on his back, his head hanging down. "...blood...rushing...to the...HEAD!" he cried out, his voice rising throughout the sentence.

Rue was suddenly in the truck with Vetch and NOok, who was yelling something about his head. rue was still struggling to break free, her claws useless. She didn't retract them though, she didn't feel like it. Her violet eyes flickered from place to place inside the truck, panic welling inside her. SHe had no idea what was going on, she had jumped into a storm, ended up who knows where, had NOok yeel the whole time pretty much, had a giant lizard suddenly say they were going to prison, now she was in a truck. Adrenaline seeeped through her veins, and her muscles tightened even more.

As the truck smoothly and quickly rolled away, Vetch tried to use his fangs to cut through the bottom of the truck. No use. The truck was made of something not of earth, because Vetch's fangs would've cut through solid metal like soft cheese.

"I'm guessing you can't bite through it?" Rue said, desperation enteing her voice slightly. "Can you bite through whatever this is?" she asked, moving her paws slightly to indicate the yellow nettiing goo.

Vetch clamped down on it and stretched it out. He let it go, causing it to snap back on his paws. "No..." he sighed. "It's too stretchy!"

"Well, cr@p," Rue said, stretching her own paws apart to see if she could break free herself. It didn;t work. "Any idea of how we can possibly get out of here?" she asked dully.

At that moment, the truck stopped suddenly at a gigantic building made of something that seemed like light.

"Perfect," Rue muttered. "Prison." She stared at the building with anger filled violet eyes.
