Jenna smiled and licked her owners' cheek, happy to have her there, she loved Rosie...so much.
Cachen licked her back. "Ok." he said. "Momma, what North Star mean?" he asked, they hadn't been out at night all that often yet.
Kodi nodded. "Yes Tai, momma and poppa love you all." he said, happy to have pups of his own. He nuzzled her. "And we always will."
Lena nodded. "I okay." she said. "Storm scary but we here togather." she said, wagging his tail.
Boris nodded. "But Kodi and Katie are being smart enough to handle Steele." he said. "They're strong, like you."

Rosie giggled softly, laying her head gently on Jenna's stomach. She seemed rather tired. "I won't leave, Jenna..." she murmured sleepily, covering her mouth while she yawned. "I...won't..."
Katie thought, smiling. "Well," she started, looking out at the gray sky. "On a nice night, you can see a big big star...that's the North Star. It helps people find home." she said, tickling Cachen's tummy. "Where their loved ones are."
Tai blinked, tilting her head. "Poppa lub Tai foureber?" she asked, meaning to say 'forever'.
Kai smiled, licking Lena's ear softly.
Balto nodded, continuing to look out at the storm. He didn't know what to say, Boris was right, like always.

Jenna nodded. "I won't leave you ether Rosie." said Jenna, though it sounded to Rosie just like a bunch of barking. She laid her head on Rosie's shoulder and began to fall asleep.
Cachen laughed. "I luv momma." he said, cuddling up close to her and settling down, begining to fall sleep.
"Yes sweetie, I'll love you forever." said Kodi, laying down next to his baby girl.
Lena giggled. She yawned. "I sleepy." she said.
"Now be getting some sleep." said Boris. "Don't want to be tired tomarrow." he said, laying down with the bears, hoping that'd calm them down.
OOC: Should we skip ahead to the morning?

Rosie laughed sleepily, snuggling into Jenna's fur. She was quickly asleep. One hand wrapping around Jenna's neck as the dog's head lay on her shoulder.
Katie smiled, curling up around her pups. She smiled at Kodi. "I love you." she said softly, winking at her mate playfully. She began to hum a song her parents had sung to her as a pup, eyes closed.
Tai smiled, content with this knowledge. She curled up and yawned cutely.
"I sleepy too." said Kai, who sounded a little grumpy because he was tired. He snuggled next to Lena, yawning.
Balto laughed softly, going over and worming his way under his old blanket. He laid down on the deck, watching Muk and Luk fall asleep. "Very nice nephews you have, 'uncle' Boris." he joked, opening one eye to look at the goose.

OOC: Ok, skiping ahead!
Cachen was first to wake up. He whimpered, he'd wet the 'bed' so to speak, cause he'd been scared from the storm. He nudged his mother. "Momma...I had an accydent." he said, meaning accident and blushing from emberrassment.
Lena woke up and realized the den was wet. "Eew!" she said, making a 'yuck' face.
Jenna woke up. She whined and ran over to the door and started scratching it, trying to tell them she wanted out.

Katie woke up, blinking. She smiled sweetly, picking Cachen up. "Alright." she said through her son's fur. "Everyone out for a little bit." she said, walking out into the snow. She put Cachen down. "And a bath for you." she murmured
Tai woke up, blinking softly. She noticed the den was wet. "Poppa..." she said, nudging Kodi's face. "Cachen had a asident..." she said, climbing onto his back.
Kai woke up and yelped at the wetness. He jumped up, running and tripping out of the den.
Rosie woke up as her head was set on the floor. She got up groggily. Opening the door with a smile. "Go ahead, Jenn." she said

Lena dashed out and accidentally ran into her brother, falling head over heels. "Opps, sory Kai."
Kodi sighed and got Tai out of the den. "Well you are all pups, you all wet the den from time to time."
Cachen whined. "I sory momma...I in trouble?" he asked, tears forming in his eyes.
Boris walked over to Balto and pecked him on the head. "Be waking up Balto, Jenna is probably being worried sick."
Jenna barked happily and ran out. She wondered if she should check on Balto first then go check on Katie or go straight to help Katie with her pups, the poor things were probably pretty shaken up. Maternal instinct won out and she headed towards the dens.

Kai yipped, but laughed. "It okay, Lena." he said.
Tai nodded, giggling softly. "It no fun being wet Poppa." she said laughing hard.
Katie shook her head. "No, you had an accident. You didn't mean to." she said softly. "But now you're getting a bath." she said and grabbed Cachen, heading to the little stream by their den.
Balto yelled, waking Muk and Luk. "Ow!" he said, rubbing his head before getting up. "I'll go check on Jenna, like I've always done." he said, looking at Boris oddly. Shaking himself softly, he jumped off the boat, heading for the dens. He knew Jenna would check on the pups.

Cachen nodded. "I smell bad..." he said, giving a yuck face, puppy urine didn't exactly smell pleasent.
"Wait till you learn to swim." said Kodi, smiling. "Then you'll like being wet."
Lena got up. "Kai ok?" she asked, looking him over.
A distence from the boat, Balto tripped over a red shape buried in the snow.

Katie chuckled. She didn't care what her pup smelled like. Gently, she set Cachen down in the more shallow water, putting water over him. "You'll be clean soon, little one."
Tai blinked. "How you swim?' she asked, very curious.
Kai nodded, getting up. "I okay...Lena okay?"
Balto hit the ground with a thud, looking behind him. There was a red bump on the ground. Slowly, he got up and began to uncover it form the snow. He blinked hard and seemed confused at what he saw: a dog, that looked like his mate!

Cachen shivered. "It cold momma!" he said, teeth chattering.
"You're too little, I'll teach you when you're older." said Kodi. "Promise."
Lena nodded. "I fine...but little grossed out..."
The dog buried in the snow looked like Jenna but was much younger, probably about as old Aleu was when she left. She was shivering heavily, like she'd been there all night.

Katie smiled. "I know, baby boy...almost done." she said, before taking Cachen out. "There, see? Now shake the water off." she said, smiling softly. She licked his cheek gently.
Tai pouted. "Tai awways gon' be liddle!" she said, upset.
Kai couldn't help but giggle when Lena said that.
Without even taking a second thought, he put the dog on his back, making his way back to the boat. She reminded him much of his daughter, since she was around her age. Coming back up the gangplank, he sighed. "Boris!"

Cachen shivered, he cuddled closely to his mother. "Really cold..."
"No you won't baby girl." said Kodi. "You'll be big and strong one day!"
"Cachen wet the den..." said Lena. "He was scared."
Boris ran over and gasped. He checked the dog over. "Not Jenna, but she looks like her...younger though." he said. "She's freezing, must have been out all night, be taking her to the boiler room to warm up, too cold here."

Balto nodded, shouldering the dog so she wouldn't fall he headed for the boiler room.

Cachen curled up with his mother. "Momma, how I your North Star?"
Kodi nodded. "I promise little girl." he said, rubbing her head fur with his paw.
"Like you last week?" asked Lena with a giggle.
The dog moaned when they started into town and woke up. She didn't know where she was or who was helping her, he looked familure but she was in too much pain from the intense cold to concentrait. She lowered herself and leaned against him, walked on her own as best as she could, shivering violantly from the cold. "T-th-thank y-you." she stuttered.
