Marco took the pen first and signed his name, Marco Antonio Dicialinni, then wrote down the name 'Sonic the Hedgehog'. He loved Sonic and pals since he was a little kid, and he often pretended to be racing him around the house. He handed the pen to Terra.
Terra wrote down, Terra Lucia Dicialinni, then the name, 'Wolfsbane', Wolfsbane was a female werewolf, and Terra loved animals, so she thought the heroine fit her well.
Shiro took the pen from Terra and angrily wrote down his name, Kioshiro Randal Weeden, then wrote 'Wolverine'. He always liked the X-Men, and Wolverine was his favorite. He was tough, skilled, and never seemed to lose. He dropped the pen on the table, leaving it for the next person.

Jarret took it and wrote his name, Jarret Ethan Micheals, and wrote 'Ultraman Cosmos'. He loved Japanese stuff, espcially Ultraman. Since a hero needed compassion and strength, Cosmos was a good pick.
Sally took the pen and wrote Sally Gabrial Fancious and then wrote 'Vixen' on the second line. She, like Terra, loved animals, so the powers of any animal seemed a perfect match.
Jack took the pen last and wrote his full name Jack Micheal Roberts then on the other line Batman. He loved Batman, using his own fears and making enemies of the just fear him, a protector of the weak.
Malic took the contract and looked it over. "Yes, good." he said. "Now its time to finish the transaction." he said, standing up. His body was engulfed in light, his true form as close as he could manage in this plane of reality was a humanoid being of light with glowing blue eyes. He put his hands over his chest and a small portal formed, six beams of light surging out and going into the six teens.
Jarret felt the light poor into him, the fighting experience and calm mind of Cosmos entering his form and the Comso Pluck forming in his hand.
Sally's eyes widened as she felt the power of the animal kindom, that primal energy, rush into her form. She felt wild and free.
Jack stood still, feeling the intellect, skill, and bravery serge into his mind, the spirit and strength, it was so amazing.

Marco felt the need to close his eyes and let the energy enter him. H felt it immediately, pulsing through his veins and intertwining with his blood.
Terra felt something as well, but different to Marco's. She felt her hands shake violently, and her eyes twitched readily.
Shiro stood in a strong pose, waiting for the strength and power to flow into him. Then, it felt like a wall hit him. Right then, he clenched his fists, and three steel claws on each hand tore out from under his skin, and he stared at them, amazed that it had actually worked. "It... it worked!" Shiro breathed, wide-eyed.

Malic was about to close the portal, the exchange of energy complete, but suddenly, 12 bolts of black energy surged out and flew off into the night. Malic closed the portal and returned to his human form, adjusting his tie, looking out into the night.
Jarret was excited but suddenly worried about the black energy. "Malic, what was that black energy?"
Malic looked at the contract. He then took out a phone and called his boss. "Yes, the contract you gave me has fine print, what does it say?" he asked, then listened as his boss explained it. "I wish you'd told me that before so I could've told the clients." he said before hanging up and turned to them. "I'm sorry about that, but it appears there's a clause in the contract I was not informed of." he said. "Its a poem, actuelly, to explain." he said, then cleared his throat.
"Like all things, there must be balence in the world
For the amount of good power that has entered through my portal
A larger amount of evil must come
For the power of a single good soul outweighs an evil one.
Six heroes have risen here tonight
So comes twelve of the greatest villians's might
From the fictional worlds are this very moment seeking for hearts so vile
So they may battle in a fight for suvival
You must destroy them one by one
Until the evil your wish allowed to enter this world is undone.
If you destory all twelve
A 13th villian, far more powerful than the others will challenge you as well.
If you win that war
Then the power is yours and your bloodline's forever more.
If you fail, this world to him shall go
And the world will be full of much more woe." he recited.
"Basically what that means is because I released 6 goods into this world, good being more powerful, 12 evils have been unleashed into this world to balence it out." he said. "Those 12 energy bolts are the powers of 12 of the villians in the worlds you took power from, right now they're seeking out 12 humans with as evil intentions as yours are good." he said. "You must destroy them all and then a 13th more powerful foe to cement your powers in your blood line." he said. "I sincerely apologize for this mix up." he said. "I should have learned by now to always look at the fine print." he said. "I will assist you when I can, you have my word." he said. "In fact, allow me to give you a gift." he said, extending his hand, five bolts of light shot out and materilized in the hands of the group except for Jarret. "You may use your minds to mold those lights into your costumes, Jarret, you will litterally become Cosmos with the Cosmos Pluck." he said. "I apologize for the mix up once again." he said, giving a sincere look of regrat, the first bit of emotion to appear on his face since he appeared.

"What?" Marco said. "So we have to defeat super-villians and the thugs who burned down our school?"
"Just great!" Shiro remarked. "And how does 12 even out 6 anyway? I knew I shouldn't have wasted my time with this!"
Marco stared at the ball of sullen light resting in his palm. Sonic didn't really have a costume, did he? He did have running shoes, though. That's probably what they were. He needed his shoes to keep friction from wearing them down like regular sneakers.
Terra's shaky hands once again shook even more violently, then, sprouts of brown wolf hair evenly grew all over her body. He face morphed into a snout and a wolf's head. Soon, she was fully a werewolf. But... there was a downside. In the process, her clothes had ripped off. "My clothes!" Terra shrieked as she remembered the ball of light that would soon be her costume. "How do I make this into a costume?" she asked without patience.
Shiro looked down at the spinning light unit in his hand. So this is going to be just a leather suit, right? He hoped it wasn't that weird yellow and black leotard that the old version of Wolverine wore in the ancient cartoons. He heard Terra shriek and looked over, and she was a werewolf on two legs. Her clothes were in tatters by her feet, so he chuckled and said, "Hey, maybe we should sell tickets."

"Just invison the custume you want, complete with the qualities you need to go with your powers." said Malic. "And it will come, that will also help with hiding your secret identities." he said. He looked to Shiro. "Its even in my boss' eyes, his reasoning is that good is superor to evil, so more evil was required to balence out the good I've given you, why do you think a single villian can never beat the superhero?"
Jack decided to try it. He wanted to be a real life Batman but not completely like Batman. He concentraited on what he wanted and the light formed into a mask simular to Batman's, only covering his full face instead of just the upper part. It was based mostly off the Batman Begins style costume, only the style was more bat like, complete with claws on the hands and feet. It was completely black as well, also light weight but extremely tough, though had the appearence of being more like armor than Batman's. "Amazing." he said. "Call me Steel Wing." he said, liking the sound of the name.
"The full face mask is a good idea, we don't want the gangs to have any idea who we are, or these supervillians." said Sally. She concentraited and the light washed over her and soon she was covered in a brown leather costume that had a cat motifi but she made it so it'd take on the characteristics of the animal she channeled. She practiced with a porcupine and the face became more like a porcupine and quils grew out of the back. "This is beyond amazing. Malic, I don't know how this works but its awsome!"

Marco envisioned a mask. It was completely dark blue, and maybe some anti-friction sneakers as well. He closed his eyes and thought hard. When he opened his eyes, the mask was blue, and around the eyes was the color that Sonic had on his arms and stomach. "This is incredible!" The sneakers were there too, so he slipped them on and put the mask on right away. "Sweet!" Marco remarked. "Call me Velocity!"
Terra needed clothes, so she quickly closed her eyes and thought of a loose purple robe, comfortable and big enough to fit her new werewolf frame. And there it appeared in her hands. She quickly threw it around herself and curled the end around her neck to keep it from falling. "I'm Canid now!
Shiro thought of a black leather jacket with steel plates on the shoulders and red rings on the sleeves. It was attached to black pants and black combat boots. And there it all was. He took off his old jacket and put on his new one and zipped it up to the top of the collar. He also slipped on the pants and fastened the belt, along with stepping into his boots. He shot his steel claws out and crossed them in front of his face. "This is really happening." he told himself. "Then you can call me the Predator!"

"You can materilize them at will." said Malic. "USeful when you spot a crime and need to change quick." he said. "And what is a superhero team without a secret lair?" he asked, turning into his light form, he flew into a closet and made an alternate pocket dimmension at the back of it, which was behind a hidden door. "The door is voice activated." he said, his voice a distorted due to his transformation. "Only opens if you say open directly at it." he said, right now the space was huge but just a large metal room. "Pick whatever you like from a superhero comic or show or movie and I will make it for you." he said. "I want to set up my clients so they can fufill their mission, just think it and I will make it."
Jack decided to try it, he imagined the Batwing, only more menicing looking and bat-like, his vison appeared in the lair in a flash of light. "Wow!" he said.

Marco looked at Jack's idea of a lair and said, "It's too... depressing. It needs a touch. Maybe a computer?" He imagined a huge computer that covered the entire back wall, and it was so. "There we go!"
Shiro nodded at the lair and said, "I like it. It's mysterious and cool-looking."
"It's to bat-ish." Terra complained. "How about a security dog to make sure no one comes in and so I can practice my canine language?" And there was a big dog, a mix of what looked like wolf and dalmation, for it was a spotted brown and black wolf. It said to Terra,
My name is Ronno, and I am at your service.

"Lets make it more high tech, less dull." said Jarret, thinking, the lair suddenly changed into what looked much like the inside of an alien ship or something like it, much cooler.
"Better, but we need some more transportation." said Jack, imagining a sleek looking, high tech jet, which materilized. "And of course an opening for it to fly out of." he said, one materilized. "It opens into that cliff above the city, seemed like a good spot." he said, the police scanner he'd added to his suit activated. "Wait, I'm getting something."
"We've got a fire fight on main street, Black Shark Gang." said the dispatcher. "Multiple officers pinned down, we need back up ASAP."
"Black Sharks have some police pinned down in a fire fight." said Jack. "They want back up, maybe we're just what they need."

Marco saluted and said, "Leave it to us!" as he sped off.
Terra rolled her eyes and remarked, "There goes Marco. We'd better back him up. Everyone in the jet!"
Shiro pulled his claws back into his hands and climbed into the jet. "This'll be fun."

Jarret nodded. "I'll fly there myself, flying doesn't cost Ultras much energy." he said, taking out the Cosmos Pluck. He trust it up and activated it, being engulfed in energy, emerging in the form of Ultraman Cosmos. "Cool." he said, though it was telepathically."
"Your energy doesn't deplete through time like the real one but as a trade off you cannot grow to full Ultra size, but nether can those inhirting the evil powers from his world." said Malic. Jarret nodded and flew off up the flight hatch. "I will remain here, as a...what do they call them? Adviser." he said.
Jack nodded, he and Sally boarding the jet. "Good thing I inhirted Batman's piloting skills." he said, sitting down in the pilots seat as Sally also set down. "Alright, everyone ready?"

Terra climbed in next to Shiro and strapped herself in. As she did, her hands slightly became human skin again. "Finally!" she said. "Since my body's used to its powers now, I can form form human to wolf." Soon, she was fully human again.
Shiro grinned sneakily and said, "You know, when your clothes ripped off-"
"Don't even start!" Terra interrupted.

Jack rolled his eyes and pressed the ignition, taking off after Cosmos. "Alright, lets land in the park, we're fast enough to get there quick, don't want to tip off the gang. If our buddies haven't kicked butt first."
Jarret flew next to Marco. "Think you can get any injured police officers out of the corss fire? I'll use an energy field to provide cover, we need to get them safe first, then we can kick butt." he said. He looked forwards. "I hear gun shots, lets go." he said, flying up higher so he could take them by suprise.
The Black Sharks had a group of police pinned down behind their car, shooting at them, one officer was bleeding rather badly. Suddenly, Jarret landed in front of them, between them and the police. "Who the heck are you?" asked one of them.
"Who cares, shoot the fool." said another. They opened fire.
Jarret recoiled slightly from the shots but they just bounced off, they stung a little but he was far more durable than any human. The gang members were stunned. "Is that all you've got?" he asked. They began firing again. He trust his hands forwards and a golden light barrier eracted between the thugs and the cops. "Alright Velocity, get the cops to safety and the injured to an amblaence, I'll keep up the barrier."

Marco, in a flash of blue lightning, rounded up the injured cops to the nearest hospital. He left them in the care of the doctors and nurses when he came back to help Jack. There was only about two cops that weren't so badly hurt, so he told them to hang on while he sped them to a safe distance away. He zapped back to Jack's side. "Do you mind if I do the honours?" Marco asked.
