Yet nobody complains when they make sequels after sequels to CGI films : Shrek 4, Cars 2, Ice age 3, Toy Story 3 etc...
Not very logical.

I wouldn't judge incredibly quickly on Toy Story 3, it hasn't even been released but I would be wary. The other 3 kinda sucked.

and have no desire to see any of the sequels to any of them.

Yet all these sequels are currently meeting huge commercial successes. (ex : Ice age 3 has made 887 M$ in theaters, while Princess & The Frog is making around 80M$ for a higher budget...yes, that's ten times more...)

They already have a proven hit, they know people will come out to see them because they saw the last one.

Ok, I'm not sure what to make of this, I LOVED Who Framed Roger Rabbit and if they keep, if nothing else, his character and the setting (a world were humans co-exist with cartoons), as well as the 'gritty' style of the plot (which mixed with the cartoony aspects made the movie such a classic) I'd like it. However, whatever villian they create needs to be worked right, that's all I can say. The Judge in the original was one of the best villians I can remember, the plot twist at the end with him was completely unforseen, I never saw that coming. So if done right, I don't care how its realized. Polar Express was pretty cool and if Monster House could make it out as child friendly, I think this could.
