Free_Wolf - Sincwe Talon already said that he/she would join as the lone wolf, I want to give him/her a chance to send in their bio. Not too long though, since I want to get this rp started!

Tigress - That would be great!

OK then, here we go...

Name: Steele
Nickname: popularly known as glory hound to most of the dogs in Nome, though before his downfall he used to be called Steele the Great
Age: 8,5 in human years, meaning circa 65 in, should I call it "Malamute years"
A short justification: Average Malamute life expectancy is 10,7 years - therefore, I guess, a maximum is circa 14 years. 8,5/14 times 100 (top age for most people) gives 65 years. The result is similar for common "times 7" rule.
I assumed, that during the action of Balto, Steele was Balto's equal, having circa 5 years. Therefore, having 2 years old pups, he has to be at least 7. However, Valeki's mother had an important influence on her, so they must have known each other for at least a year. Add some time "just because" and there it is, 8,5 years old Steele ;)
Gender: Lemme guess.. Male
Appearance:
A stout, big black-and-white Malamute, pride of his breed, Steele looks just as tough and proud as he really is. Years of boasting about himself made him look down at almost everybody he happens to talk with. The fact that he left comfortable shelter he had in Nome don't seem to have broken him. Maybe he's not looking so clean, but he's just as strong as he was in the days of his glory.
Personality:
Egoistic and self-concerned, Steele always liked to have a group of flatterers hanging around him. He was never truly fond of anyone until his daughter grew up. Steele's also bitter after being brought down by Balto's heroic deed. Long time spent at pondering over means of taking his revenge taught his something though: patience and prudence.
History:
Born in a family of champions, Steele was literally destined for greatness. Strong genes taken after his parents combined with intense training made him become a really strong dog, capable of leading one of the best sled teams in the western part of Alaska. His life consisted of constant triumphs, which is the main reason for the awful character that made many dogs secretly loathe him... and finally led to his doom. In 1928, during the famous serum run, Steele made a crucial mistake. Instead of accepting Balto's help, he assailed the whole operation and came back to Nome to bask in the glory of lone survivor, never caring about the sick children. When the real fact became known to all the dogs of Nome, Steele wisely decided to run before his previous admirers decided to maul him. He hoped to find a new home in one of the near cities. Too bad for him, news about his treachery spread around very quickly with the post sled teams.
Afraid of coming near any dogs, Steele adapted to living in the wild. He was strong and fierce, so he learned to hunt relatively easy. Not much is known about Steele's life in the wild, the only thing we know for certain is that he never stopped to hate Balto, blaming him for everything that happened. During his stay in the Alaskan forests, he met Mosvik, a female wolf separated from her pack for unknown reasons. It is unsure why, but the two decided to mate. They had two pups, one of them - Zelda - being Steele's favorite. He would teach her and fill her heart with hatred over whole days, ignoring his son, Fang. Therefore, the boy was mostly raised by his mother and remained of a much calmer character.
After making sure Mosvik taught Zelda everything she knew, Steele asked his mate for a walk one day. In the dark evening hours, only one of them returned. Fang, being very fond of his mother, immediately ran to Steele and asked him what happened. His only answer was a scornful snort from his father and a derisive smirk from Zelda. He wanted to leave and find her, worrying the worst. Unfortunately, Steele provoked Zelda to practice her fighting skills on her brother once more. After a harsh beating, Fang was unable to search for his beloved mother. When he regained enough strength to conduct the search, Mosvik was nowhere to be found. Since that day Fang's frustration towards Steele deepened greatly. He still believed there is some goodness in his father, but it seemed very, VERY well hidden.
Several weeks passed. By that time, Fang developed a deep hatred for his sister, as she used any possibility to practice pouncing and fighting, using him as her training dummy. One day, Steele he decided the time is right and his daughter is truly ready for assault. The two set out to take Steele's revenge upon Balto and his family. Fang probably left in the same time, either knowing about the plan and wanting to prevent it... or simply sensing that wherever his father was headed, it would mean nothing good for whoever lived there.
Crush: Seeing as crush is not a lasting emotion... And considering the fact Steele's hardly able to feel such emotions, none
Mate: Mosvik (combination of ON mo?ir (mother) and svik (treason)) [[ suspect to change, should someone decide to play as her and wanted another name ]]
Pups: Fang and Zelda
Other: I'd try and make some picture of Steele, but I don't really feel like it. I guess everybody knows him anyway, otherwise, there's a great image of Steele: CLICK. This is NOT my image, just a great example of how Steele looks ;)

That should wrap up all the stories together well. As always, I'm open for suggestions of changes.

Balckrose, Godzillawolf - I hope you don't mind that I added some details about your characters that weren't mentioned in your stories? If there's something against your vision of those two, just tell me ;)

Mostly, no problem but Fang is not angry at Steele, he's frustraited with him and realizes Steele's done a lot of bad but he's still holding out that there's still good in him, but he really can't stand his sister. Also, Fang was seperated from his mother at some point, so you could add how that happened. Anyway, other wise no biggy.

I've added the changes you mentioned into the text, mostly at the end of the two last paragraphs.

I left some information uncertain or unknown, it should be fun to fill the details as the roleplay will progress.

Sorry it's taking me so long to post at all, but I've been trying to sort out my thoughts and how all the histories are going to work and all that stuff. Just so we're all on the same page, I have typed a sort and general (I hope) summery of what all has happened before the start of this roleplay. (And we still have to wait for Talon to reply!)

Everything starts off, not when Steele leaves Nome, but when Mosvik has her first litter of pups. Valeki and her brother were born into a good pack, but when they were almost one, their mother went missing. The pack searched for her, but she seemed to have disappeared into thin air. No one had any idea that she had either run off with Steele or been kidnapped by him. Either way, she bore him two puppies two months later. Steele waited until the pups were old enough to live without their mother and without someone raising them before taking her for a walk. It is unknown what happened out there, but Mosvik kept walking and left her pups. Steele came back and never gave an explanation to wait had happened, though Zelda already knew. When Fang went after his mother, Zelda followed her brother, passing him along the journey and earsing the scent of their mother until Fang was completely lost. While Zelda was returning to her father, she erased Fang's path so we couldn't follow it back to safety.

A few months later, Valeki and her brother went on a hunt, but were separated during it. He came to Nome to look for her, bumping into Balto's daughter, Saba, who offered to help. Whether they find her not by the time Fang comes to Nomes is not determined yet.

Is everyone good with this. If I got anything wrong tell me, but I might have changed one or two things to make everything fit better.

Sounds good, though I'd like Fang to arrive before Mosvik is found, that way there's actuelly something to bind the half-siblings togather.

Name: Ranger
Nickname: Omega (weakest in the pack)
Age: 2 1/2 dog years
Gender: Male
Breed: Timber Wolf
Appearence: Strong at the shoulders and the legs Ranger , is a well-built hunter born to kill. His gray but nearly white fur almost blends with the snow.
Personality: Too kindhearted is what makes Ranger an Omega. For some reason though a wolf's first instinct to hunt is great, he is unlike them and refuses to eat meat from any animal that he kills because of his ability to be pushed around that is how he got his lowest rank.
History: Due to being exiled from Valeki's pack for reasons he never talks about much of it is unknown
Crush: Saba
Mate:
Pups:
Other:

Ooc:// Accepted. Sorry Free_Wolf, you can join as Balto or Mosvik, though.
Anyways, time to start!
We can start the day that Ranger and Fang come to town, remember that Ranger comes first!

Bic:// Sabaka wondered down the streets of her home town, Nome. Of course, her thoughts were slowly drifting North where her sister and best friend, Aleu, was probably having the time of her life right now while Saba was still cooped up in a house. Funny how Aleu used to want a home and now Saba was the one wishing she had a different one. Saba stopped when she came to the end of the street and the end of the town. Every day she dared herself to go farther and into the woods, but she just didn't have the courage to run away and disappear without a word. With longing eyes still wathcing the horizon, Saba reluctantly turned around and started towards her house.

Jenna laid on the front porch of her house, just looking at the sun shine, it was beutiful, like always. Jenna had learned to enjoy life, all the years with Balto had done that, but she was fiercely determined of one thing, next time that wolfdog risked his life, Jenna would be there with him. She was tired of staying on the sidelines like the last two times and worrying herself sick...Mel didn't help. She saw her daughter, Saba, walking along. "Saba!" she called out, getting up and trotting over. "How are you doing today?" she asked, curious.

OOC: Hey, since I'm only two characters, could I be Dipsy and maybe someone else be Mel? I love those two, they make good comic relief.

[[ ooc: Sorry for the delay, but I've got a firm explanation - being not used to this type of roleplaying I thought things worked... not really how they work. Never mind, BlackRose enlightened me. Here we go then... ]]

In the meantime, several kilometers away from Nome...

Steele was walking through a shady forest, paying little attention to his surroundings - mainly because he got used to watching it during the months he'd spent there. Moreover, he'd never been very keen on watching the nature around. Plus, at the moment he was deep in thought. The thing he thought about, however, wasn't his last conversation with his wife, he wasn't concerned about whereabouts of his son either. All he cared about at the moment was his plan of revenge, devised and perfected over such a long time. 'Now, with an ingenious plan,' he thought, 'and a perfect minion... Wait a minute, where is she?' He looked around with concern clearly visible on his muzzle.
Now, for someone who hadn't met Steele for several months, that would be a huge shock. The cold, unfeeling glory hound finally developed true, warm emotions towards another animal... Regretfully, that wasn't going to change him for the better, on the opposite - with an obedient, loving follower he was beginning to feel really powerful.
"Zelda!" he barked with annoyance. He loved the girl, but lacked many basic fatherly instincts and he never hesitated to punish her for any disobedience. Fortunately for the temporary absent wolfdog, another thought popped into his head and Steele started to ream of titles he should obtain once they get rid of the dreaded Balto...

In the same time, yet another place - few kilometers east from Nome

Valeki woke up, yawned and stretched, shaking off the remains of her sleepiness. She looked around and for a moment wondered why no terrain features looked familiar to her. After a moment, all the recent events came to her mind. Her pack was probably miles away, she was alone in unknown terrain...
"Focus," she scolded herself. "Panic's the worst option."
One thing was certain - she had to find a way back to her relatives. 'That won't be hard...' she thought. 'I'll just have to follow my own track back as far as it's possible, hopefully reaching the more recognizable areas before my scent fades away.' She looked in the direction she came from and shivered. 'What if those hunters are still after me? Darn humans...' She sighed. 'I guess I'll think about it when need comes. Still, there's one thing I definitely need to do before I go. After all, humans aren't the only hunters around...'
With that thought, Valeki remembered the direction she needed to follow and turned around, giving in to her hunting instincts. New place meant new hunting occasions and after yesterday's run she was - literally - hungry like a wolf.

[[ ooc: Once again, I have to ask, just to get the feel of such RPing - should I go on in describing Valeki's hunt or wait for BlackRose's post, describing further events? Sorry for all the problems. ]]
