"He's my dad, that's who he is!" Conall growled.

"Yeah!" Max said.

Sky sat down by a tree and sighed.

Snow smiled and said "You love anyone?"

Conall sat down and said "He was on this team, he knew your dad."

Snow blushed and said "I ah love ah."

Gardnar snarled at Conall, teeth inches from his face. " My father was a wolf who lived hundreds of miles from here, I can remember him even if I was taken to this team at a young age. The only dog he ever knew was my mother. The closest mail team is 10 miles south from here, they come up about once a month." the wolf-dog snapped at the other wolf-dog. " There is no way my father knew yours, so think before you bark next time. You can stay for as long as you like, but dont let me catch you talking about my father again." Gardnar said, he turned away heading for the house.

Amanda's smile faded. " Gardnar's father was killed when he was 5 months old, his father only 3 years of age. He is very sensative when people talk about him, because Gardnar lived with him for the five months he was alive. He then lived with his mother for one more month before he was sold and brought here." she said. " He's our lead dog, the first to join this generation of our masters sled team, so many of us hold him in high respect." her tail was curled around her legs. " Normaly he's very sweet and kind to us, this is one of the few times he's harsh." Andy explained, before following Gardnar.

"Hey I said my dad knew yours. Not yours knew mine!" Conall snapped back.

Snow looked away.

" Please enlighten me on how your father could have known mine without mine having known yours?" Gardnar asked, turning around.

Andy popped up behind him. " Well, his father could have seen and heard about yours. They dont always have to meet."

Gardnar snorted. " I never win notton!" he mumbled, head hanging low in shame as Andy sweatdropped anime style behing him.
