Miki's eyes widened. "Exstinct?" she asked, confused. "But if I'm human and...and Pokemon couldn't talk where I came from...that means I must be from another world, or something." she said. "Could there be another world?" she asked. "I mean I know that there's a pokemon from another planet...what was it called? Deoxous?" she asked, misprouncing the name.

" Well yes, and he's called Deoxous." Eevee said correcting her on the name. " It's probably the best answer we have for now." he said biting into his berry. " Ether why your on our planet now, and until we can learn more about this your stuck here. But your welcome to stay with me Miki. Unless you want to spend another night out in those woods, and with all the storms coming and going now a days that's not such a good idea." Eevee said.

Miki nodded, deciding to begin to eat. "...I think we should keep it secret that I'm a human." she said. "I mean I don't want pokemon thinking I'm nuts." she said. "But something I wonder, even if I'm from another world, why did I get turned into a Pokemon?"

" Gladly Miki." Eevee told her. " Oh Miki, why did you get sent here? Why was I the one to find you? Why does anything happen in these worlds. Fate works in mysterious ways my friend. I've learned not to question it. Everything is reveled in time." he said quoiting another book.

Miki chuckled. "I guess that makes sense." she said. "But I'd still like to be able to remember who I was, not just WHAT I was." she said. "I'm curious if I was a good person or not." she said. "Would I still want to be your friend if I had those memories?" she asked. "I guess we may never find that out."

" Perhaps they were taken for a reason. Ether way your going to have to learn how to use your new skills, for now your a pokemon. And with all the storms and things going on lately your going to need to know how to fight." Eevee said, finishing his berry. " And even if your memories were taken away, surely that would not change your personality." he added.

Miki nodded. "Yeah, you're probably right." she said. "So how do I tell what attacks I can do right now?" she asked, curious. "I know I can do that aura thing but that's not really helpful when it comes to battle." she said, rubbing her head.

Eevee thought for a moment. Looking over his new friend he came to a conclusion. " Well, I'm guessing you should be able to use the moves Tackle and Quick Attack for sure. Lets try out those first before moving on to other more complicated moves." Eevee said. " Follow me." he said, leading her to his backyard. He ready himself and glanced back at her. " This is the simple tackle, I'll show you first then you try to see if you can do the same." the pokemon said. Then Eevee rushed the tree, performing a perfect tackle.

Miki nodded, watching her friend do the move carefully. She decided hitting with her shoulder was probably best. She charged forwards and tackled the tree with her shoulder, managing to shake it a bit. "Wow, I thought that'd hurt." she said, looking at the dented bark on the tree. "I guess Pokemon are pretty tough."

" That was very good! And we are incredibly tough. My goal in life is to one day be one of best fighters and Rescue Team member ever seen in history. Moving on then, next is quick attack. Again watch carefully and try to replicate it." Eevee said. He moved back to were he started for the tackle, moving into an attack form he bolted off at an amazing speed and preformed a quick attack on the tree.

Miki watched closely, not sure. "I'll try." she said. She launched forwards but didn't get enough speed, ending up falling flat on her face and messing up her blue fur. "Well I need to work on that one." she said, dusting herself off. She tried again, this time getting into the dash but tripping and falling her over heels before colliding back first into the tree. "Ow..."

" Well, you can get the speed that's for sure, but your balance stinks." Eevee said flatly. He thought for a moment and grinned. " Follow me, we're going to work on your balance, seance it's key to a lot of moves." Eevee said. He lead her to a river with a thin tree laying across it. " Miki, your going to cross this until you can do it with the speed of a quick attack." he smiled plotting himself down in the grass.

Miki nodded, gulping. She started across and managed to do it after almost sliping. She kept doing it until she was able to speed up. She kept speeding up, but making sure she could still keep her balence. She was glad she was even able to make it across, that was a plus for her. About midway across one time, her legs slipped and she ended up strandling the tree. "Ow..." she moaned, covering her groin and doubling over in pain, male or female, this still hurt.

Eevee chuckled. " Try again Miki! Feel the tree under your feet and let it guild you to safety! Your doing great so far, so I'm going to up the difficultly!" he smiled. Standing up he prepared himself and shot several shadow balls into the river, stirring it's flow, making it toss and turn, also increasing it's speed. " I'm doing this for your own good!" Eevee laughed. He hadn't had this much fun in forever.

Miki thought Eevee was being a bit harsh but didn't say anything. She stood up once the pain wore off and continued across. She kept doing it until finally she managed to do Quick Attack, feeling a bit mischievious, she flew straight at Eevee but jumped over his head and landed behind him at the last minute. She broke out laughing. "That was for turning up the river." she joked, seeing she'd startled him.
