Why do people think steele and jenna should be together?

I mean what does Steele actually have in his favor? A few dumb chromosomes?

I agree 100% i never saw anything between them at all, but what im trying to ask people is Why do Others think they should be together, so far i got people agreeing and making comments how they wont be together and so. Im asking why do those people think differently.
sure its ok to have your own lil mind of your own ideas. but i dont understand how people can get so far in it, like they think its ment to be them two and not balto

Well, I can't speak for everyone, but if that were the case, it would be through one of two venues. Either it would be a "bad guy wins" movie, in which case I for one wouldn't have given it a second look, or Steele would be a different sort of dog and I would view him differently. But even if either of these were the case, it would rather diminish the movie because then Steele, the one with all the obvious advantages, would win.
As JC said, it would be too bleak. So bleak, I would say, that it probably wouldn't even make it to video.

*claps* I applaud your thinking. Not as in the Steele/Jenna pairing is a good thing, but if it was in some VERY strange alternate reality, would the people who root for the main pairing think whose who like Balto being with Jenna are weird? ...yeah, they probably would.

There actually are situations like that, now that you bring it up. Like in the movie The Wild, where they have a squirrel interested in a giraffe. I'm not going to give anything away for those who haven't watched it, but I'd like to see a fanfic where one or both of them find mates of their own species. Maybe that's wierd. Personally, I think the movie makers were wierd. Creative, but still in need of a head exam.

Depends. Personality-wise, maybe. But to be fair, at least Steele/Jenna doesn't break any laws of nature.

*shrugs* I am bemused at your thinking. Not in the thought that a Steele/Jenna pairing is maybe a good thing, but that you could criticize fans of the existing cartoon in the non-existent scenario of an alternate reality where people would be rooting for them, and would think poorly of Balto. No, they probably wouldn't, as such a scenario wouldn't exist, as already discussed.

The question was merely one to explore possibility, not one to express my views. It is not whether the situation would exist or not, but what would things be like if it did. But hey, we have a discussion :lol:
