I dont remember watching a real alien, neither. Perhaps was from a comic book, because I only have a few of those not all of them. As for the plots, yeah, most of them were pretty realistic and some good comedy was added like a cherry on a cake.

Episode 5, Mommy for a Day. Sources I've found confuse me, some say the creatures an alien, some say its just a natural Earth creature from a distent land, anyway, its still a strange creature.

Ah yeah you're right! Althought, I was thinking of that character as some kind of mithologycal creature not a monster, but because he lived in another planet well, yes , we should consider him as an alien. Sorry, but I think I stand corrected, but I never thought of that one.

I just read through several things on Talespin and saw that and decided aliens may make a good plot device, particularally with there being a character already existing whose paranoid about alien invasions. I could imagine an intresting dogfight resulting from that.

I had an idea for a story that I think we can tie into this one: Quote: Baloo, Kit and maybe Wildcat get captured by Don Karnage (or something) and learn how Karnage acquired (stole) the Iron Vulture. Most of the story will probably be Karnage's fond recounting of his stealing the Iron Vulture (flashback sequences) interrupted at times by Baloo's or Kit's sarcastic comments and questions. Basically an episode with lots of action and danger punctuated with comedy. Here we go: The Sea Duck is in need of a part that's not easily available, so Baloo, Kit, and Wildcat travel far to a aircraft supplier who stocks odd parts for planes and well as sells them outright, like the Conwing L-16. Don Karnage, needing munitions and equipment for his planes (perhaps after the dogfights from A Bad Reflection on You), travels to the same supplier. Which leads into the the suggestion above. I'd like a scene where Baloo and Kit hide the Sea Duck in a lot of parked Conwing L-16s to hide.

I started writing one of my episode ideas into script format. My idea was that Cape Suzette's baseball team hires H4H to be their cargo service. When the team ends up having to play against Thembria in the playoffs, Baloo ends up in danger when the Thembrians try to cheat their way to victory (by trying to shoot down the Sea Duck!). The script is not finished (although I do have the entire story planned out) but I wanted to post the first part of it to give you guys an idea of my writing style and ask for suggestions. You can read it here. I welcome suggestions for content, style, etc, but I also want to know, do you guys think this script format would work for the virtual season if we were to do a comic for example? Also, I was thinking about starting to write something up for the second pilot. I thought I read a thread on this website with a pretty good idea for the pilot but I can't seem to find it anymore. I remember parts of the idea were Baloo wins a race and buys back the Sea Duck, Rebecca loses H4H and has to take a job at Miniversal. Does anyone know where that thread went, or can forward me that story idea? (EDIT: Never mind, I found it on the front page. It just seemed to not be showing up for some reason.)

Baseball is a great idea. It was very popular during the 30s and 40s.

That's a good idea and sample script! I honestly had a "now why didn't I think of that?" moment. I like your writing style, it's concise and efficient. You also did a good job of emulating the feel of the show. Nice work! Please post your outline over in the management forum as well as any further updates. (Don't want to let out any spoilers on the public board.) Sorry there's not a brainstorming thread on the management board, I'm still getting it organized. :\ The link to your sample script was a little hard to see though and some people might have missed it, so here it is again. Have you heard of Celtx? It's a free multi-platform program for writing screenplays (and much more). I use it and love it! Celtx has room for improvement like any other program, but for the price, I think it does well. You can download it here. Take it for a test drive and let me know what you think. As for doing a script for a comic, no matter the final format for the virtual season turns out to be, it will have to be written out first one way or another, so why not use the script format? The script/screenplay format is so versatile, it can be adapted easily to a comic or whatever. Actually, Celtx does comics too. Thanks for the sample and your help with the project, keep it coming! PS: I look forward to collaborating with you on the 2nd pilot!

Seriously, this is very good and is respectful of the series (ah, I knew Baloo could not be that good at baseball, especially with the "athletism" problems he had in "A Baloo Switcheroo") Seems like the screenplay format works pretty well. I can't find anything bad to say about what you've written so far, honest.

0X7B: Really like the look of Celtx. I haven't installed it yet but I am sure I will be using it to write these things from now on.
Also, thanks for the positive feedback everyone!

I also like the baseball idea. Is this going to be included right away after the pilot episode? just wondering, cause I believe that after the pilot episode we should have something with less action. Perhaps a funny episode with wildcat...... Just a thought..

I have an episode in mind that's actually an adaptation of a Ducktales episode, the last episode. You guessed it, The Golden Goose. Except it's a golden dog. And like the original DT episode, the plot includes Don Karnage running into his brother, J'onn Karnage, whose actually a monk protecting a golden dog with his servants in the 'Temple of the Dog.' And when J'onn entrusts Don to protect the golden dog, he manages to mess that up, resulting in him losing the golden dog to Baloo.
And when Baloo and Kit return to hire for higher, Becky discovers the secret of the golden dog and succumbs to Gold fever, which upsets everyone.
And now Don and J'onn must return to Cape Suzette to get it back and put things back to normal before something terrible happens...
More details soon.

I've got to be honest, I'm not crazy about the idea of doing a story adapted from another show... Maybe if you gave more details on the story it would be easier to decide. (If the details contain possible spoilers, you can PM them to me instead.)
