Paige was awakened before her sister, Constance, and as she sat up, she was hit by a wall of frigid cold. Her head suddenly throbbed, so she pressed a hand to her forehead. With her free hand, she backhanded her sister. "Wake up already!" she exclaimed as Constance suddenly seemed very awake. Her black, fingerless gloves were stained with dark maroon, the color blood showed up as on black surfaces. She sighed and picked up her gray and white pinstriped tomboyish hat. She flipped it onto her head and leaned back on her elbows. Paige nor Constance could remember a thing. Since Constance was the more brave one, she spoke up first. "Dude... I think I hit my head on something." she explained. "How did we get here? ...Where is here?"

"Is everybody okay"? Ashton asked? although it didn't really matter if they were or not, it couldn't be helped right now and there was no time for resting since we were in a freezing cold cave with nothing to eat? We had to get moving. 'im really sorry to do this to you guys already but we have to get out, have no supplies and the best thing to do would be to start moving since i can already see a light at the end of this' Ashton went on. Ashton lent forward to Anabelle and put his right hand out offering to help pull her up. ' its not that far.' he finished.

She was too busy looking over her ankle before hearing Ashton speak out again. Looking up she noticed his extended hand towards her; her back seemed to push harder into the wall behind her."I think Constance may need your help more then me, but thank you of course, I'll be fine, it's no biggie. I have fallen off horses and got the same thing"She told him with a more confident tone; she figured the twin sisters were the youngest, therefore she believed they would need more help then herself. She wasn't selfish; she was just independent. Rubbing her thumb against her ankle before looking over at the call of her name, noticing it was Ty. Her thin arched brow creased in worry as she saw the thin line of blood along his eye, against his pale skin it was somewhat obvious in the rather dimly lit cave.

"What happened are you okay?" She asked mild-mannerly before reaching up, testing her trained leg as she go up onto her feet with a painful, yet proud smile. But she quickly faced Ty, leaning on her good leg, letting her other leg rest on the knee and grabbed his chin. Tilting his head down some before looking over to Constance then back to Ty, her lips set to a thin, serious smile."Looks like a ugly cut... It could get infected.. " It was too dark to her to fully see just HOW bad his wound was, her nurse in training instincts kicking in as She spoke. She quickly turned, being rather swift even if on a bad ankle and began to dig about until she reached the nylon back-pack strap and pulled it up. Unzipping it quickly she searched through her belongings and found her first aid kit. Bits of her hair falling over her face before looking to the twins and Ashton, their face a bit surprised. She felt a blush pf pride beam against her cheek."LPN... Ashton bring Constance over here please?"

She glanced to the blond, blue-eyed boy with a calm smile. She wanted to tend to their wounds before having to be moved across the snow; better safe then sorry, her mom always said. She pulled out the anesthetic cream with a roll of gauges and waited for the darker-haired twin to come forward. She would treat Ty's wound right after the girl's.

Constance figured Paige would need more help than she did. Paige was a bit girlier, but Constance didn't know anything about medicine... unless it involves skateboarding injuries. Constance went forward and peeled off her glove on her bleeding hand, tearing off loose pieces of skin as it went. The cut seemed worse once she saw how deep and bloody it was. "Yuck." was all Constance could say. She'd gotten cuts and had multiple scars from falling off motorcycles and whatnot, but those tended to be on or around the knees and shins. "Yo, doc," Constance said to Annabelle, "You think this is serious?" She just stared at her hand, then at Annabelle, then at her hand again. She turned it over and there was an even larger gash than the one on her palm. She rolled her eyes and stated, "Great."

Paige knew somewhat about medicine, since she worked in a veterinary hospital and all. She inspected her own wounds while Annabelle tended to Constance's. Paige didn't have many cuts, just perhaps a bruise here and there. Constance was more worried about her sister than herself. Since Italian was their native language, she called to Paige, "Come sta, lei?" Paige replied, "Non c'e male. E tu?" "Io sto bene."

Ooc:// 'Come sta, lei' means 'How are you doing?' 'Non c'e male' means 'Not too bad'. 'E tu' means 'How about you?' 'Io sto bene' means 'I'm good' just to let you guys know.

Ty leaned back against the cold cavern wall with a light groan. His head was pounding like never before and everything around him appeared in a deep haze. Unable to really talk, all he could do was rest his head on the freezing surface and wait for anyone to tend to him..but then again his injury was nearly as serious as some of the others. He attempted to keep his eyes open as Annabelle tended Constance. Pretty tough girl to be doing all of that with a broken ankle. He found that he could remember a thing within the last twenty minutes or so.

Must..have.....really smacked my head...

The blood was still flowing freely from his forehead as his eyes slowly closed; not having the mental strength to keep them open any longer. For now...all he could seemingly do was pray.

Paige noticed Ty watching enviously of Constance's attention. His head was bleeding, and badly. Paige didn't know much about human medicine, but she couldn't just sit back and watch. It just wasn't her personality. She crawled forward to the boy and sat down next to him. "Hey..." she began. "Are you okay? You look pretty banged up." She didn't wait for a reply as she took off her scarf and ripped it down the middle. It was a shame really. That was her favorite scarf, but she'd always had an urge to help anyone who needs it. That's why she became a veterinary assistant. She wrapped one half of the scarf around hid head to stop the blood from waterfalling from his forehead. As she tied it off, she noticed his eyes were closed. Was he dead? No, he was breathing, but only scarcely. "Annabelle." Paige called. "I don't know much about human medicine, so I think you should come over here. I've pretty much done all I can." Constance thought he needed more attention that she herself did, so she nodded and said to Annabelle, "I'll be okay. I've gotten things worse than this."

Aston , pulling back his hand, took a step back for a minute and watched as they all knew what they were doing it seemed and they were sorting out the problems for now..' i guess we can stay for a minute or two?' Aston said.
Truth is , it wouldn't really hurt, as long as we were out of here before it began to feel cold and started to get dark we would be fine.

'Does anyone need any more help here?' he said.

Ty could hear her words and feel her soft fingers tending to him, but was unable to still fully grasp the situation around him. His heart was still racing at a mile a minute and his brain felt like scrambled eggs. Small beads of sweat fell from his brow before unleashing a rather violent cough. Not knowing what to feel, he fell back against the wall and gave in to a fit of shivers. Hot or cold...he was getting an experience of both as a small fever slowly set in; eyes rolling backwards.

Although his wound had been treated as appropriately as one could manage, that wouldn't stop an infection from setting in...and who knows what other types of damage might have been caused to his brain or skull. Feeling the wrap around his head and forcing his eyes open, he looked over to Annabelle with bloodshot eyes. "Thhh....thank you..." was all he could manage before passing out right there and then.

He felt a stinging sensation spread through his nostrils; strong enough to wake anyone in the deepest state of mental stand-down. Eyes wide open, he looked up at Annabelle again before shuddering against her body, his wound still pulsating and his nerves falling into another state of sudden heat. Nothing clearly thinking, one of his arms swung around her waist, pulling her closer to his form as he let a small whimper emanate from the back of his throat.

Were they going to get out of this place alive? Was their any hope for them? Would he ever see his family again? All of these questions screamed out in his mind as he huddled as close to Annabelle's form as possible. If this was indeed the end of all things, he wouldn't want to be next to any other person on this earth.

Paige took the remaining half of her scarf and wrapped it around her neck again. Knowing that the other half was used for a good cause, the half she was wearing didn't feel any smaller than the whole thing. Even though Paige nor Constance didn't know any of these people well enough, they still felt comfortable being around them. Like family.

Constance heard Annabelle say, "Die" the way she said it, and she also noticed how Ty was in feeble position, like an animal in its final hours. A great rage came over her. "We are not going to die!" she said loudly but a step short of yelling, "I can't believe this." she added in a normal volume. "You guys are such pansies..." she whispered. Constance had to get it off her chest, but she didn't want anyone to hear. The darker haired twin added in a normal tone, "I'm sure we've all been through worse than this. I know I have. Now if we figure out where we are and how to get back, I'm sure we can do it." She turned to her sister. "Right?" Constance said hopefully. Paige looked around at the other faces staring back at her, on edge for a response. Paige didn't actually believe there was a way to get back, but she couldn't tell her own twin sister.

Paige looked at the ground and sighed. Then, she recollected herself and lifted her head. She stared hard at Ashton, Annabelle, and Ty, and said, "She's right. We can't just die here like trapped rats. Now, does anybody have any idea where we are?" She couldn't help but chuckle to herself about the contrast between those two statements. Constance elbowed Paige hard. "It's not funny." she whispered. Paige recoiled at the hit of Constance's elbow, rubbing the area to somehow stop the pain.

Oh... sorry, but pretend Constance didn't know what you meant either X3 but yeah she means nobody's going to die.
