Personality:Alek is a very caring devoted male. He is incredibly protective over his family and owners
and is a social, friendly and generally calm dog. Although being so protective has its risks and he sometimes gets
himself into trouble for people who he trusts, but are quite the opposite. He gets hurt easily both inside and out
and takes some offensive comments very seriously.Aleksei also is very trustworthy himself and a good leader, despite
the fact he prefers being a follower and defender. But eventually he gains confidence in himself and becomes the leader
his father wanted him to be.
History:Alek was the biggest pup. His poor mother had a few problems giving birth to him and after being born
Aleksei had problems with his breathing and the family nearly lost him. But fortunatley for Alek, his experienced dog
breeder of an owner kept him alive by rubbing his back and chest and removing all of the sac that the pups were in
around his muzzle. His mother then licked him clean and he grew well and gained strength day by day.
As he grew, he gained a close relationship with his other brindle sibling who was his younger sister and they were
incredibly close and they played together most of the time, unaware that they would part ways at 8 weeks of age and
get new families, their father Don had not considered telling them. But when all his siblings played he had to slow down
after a while as he had a minor lung problem and would get out of breath much easier than other pups. When the eight
weeks arrived, the Alek saw people were walking in and out of the house and picking up pups and putting them down and eventually one puppy got a new home and then another followed. Aleksei waited and watched and him and his sister played a fun game, deciding what each human that walked in, would be if they were a dog. Aleksei asked his father "When do you think me and my sister will find a home?"His father sighed and replied quietly. " I'm afraid you may not get a home with your sister, but you wait and see, you might..." Aleksei was shocked. His father had never told him of this. Never. And as soon as that thought went through Alek's mind, he was picked up by a boring looking man and his sister picked up by another human. The two parted ways and howled in sorrow as they were placed in their seperate carriers and went there seperate ways.
Before Aleksei left, he heard a small amount of his previous owners conversation.
"That female will have a fantastic life in _________" (I didn't put the city because I need to see where the person who
adopts her, plans to make hr live.) Aleksei tried so very hard to wriggle free but could not. He lived for 3 months in greif of
his sisters departure, but could no longer take it. After his owner opened the door to go to the shops Alek shot out and ran
down the streets and round to the park. His owner did nothing but chuck down a book. (Which happened to contain plans
on selling poor Aleksei out to another owner as a champion breeder and the man getting a lot of money.)
Aleksei ran to the park and found the sign post which said all the ways to different cities and how many miles it was.
He remembered what his previous owners had said the day he left and he ran in the direction of the cities, his mission
begun.
Other:He still wears the tatted old, navy/purpleish coloured collar which his owner had put on and Alek had never
managed to get it off. He also will never have pups and doesn't want a mate or pups. All he wants is his sister and because
he was nuetered.
Why I want this pup:As everyone has said, these pups are incredibly cute and I had to try out for him after I saw
this topic. I like the fact he isn't a breed which you see everyday on the bloomin character pages. I love brindles and
there aren't many here on BS. I also wanted a character who lives somewhere besides Alaska, Anerica and England and
I really wanted a char with an intresting storyline and I finally found one! I hope to make a fic about his life if I get him.
Also I love his simple design and his sweet lil curly tail <3 You have totally got me hooked with the breed xD
