The question is: Who do you think has left a mark?

It's all opinion really, No need to sweep someone under the rug over it.

The truth is, everybody leaves their mark on the site, in some way. A good artist will motivate others to make their art better as well. Telling someone that "good art does nothing" kind of demotivates them to do better, then you have a site filled with nothing but uninspiring art.

Not to derail the topic, but what inspired you (speaking in a general, anybody that reads it "you") to become better?

Frankly, I don't see how people making art and posting it on this site has made it "better". I respect the artists who have done work which could be considered really good, but there is also a lot of really bad art on this site which does absolutely nothing but sit there...looking bad. I don't know anyway why I would have any need or responsibility to motivate the artists to do better. That's not any member's job.

There is indeed a lot of poor artwork here, but there's also a lot of really great pieces of art. And there are members that I've only seen here for the art, which have been mentioned in a previous post, which further inspires me that good artists can affect a site. I'm not defending them, or the way some people "worship" them, but I do honestly think that.

Dingo/Nick certainly was one of the most influential mods during his time. It's such a pity how most of the aforementioned members no longer attend the site. That said, Kari/Kayla was also a very popular and very-much loved member of her days back as a mod. Though I don't really believe any of them had any LASTING impression on the site, I do so say it was hard to come across anyone who didn't know their names back in the day.

BTW, just to be a dickwad for a little, it's thanks to me RPs were extended to "open" instead of always having to stick with a Balto-theme. I also helped to send off steet's first draft of his petition to Universal. Thanks for remembering.
