No, I don't think it should.

I don't know what you're trying to get at here. Your rant goes something like this

1. People ignoring and trying to prove wrong your opinion (which by the way is a totally natural thing to do if you disagree)
2. People being rude in a situation when asking a question about fact
3. Some "coding words" business (what is this?)
4. A dictionary definition of opinion
5. More coding words
6. An assumption that people do not understand that "I" and "think" usually relates to a matter of opinion
7. "I'm sick of it".

Sick of WHAT? People taking offense at everything you say? People ignoring what you say and just hurling 'joo suck' at you? These aren't really anything new. Say anything slightly provocative here and someone's feathers get ruffled and they take offense. Grow a thicker hide I say, it's not like I'm swearing profusely or something.

Don't say that. The mods may warn you for disagreeing with them.

Not really a sticky material, indeed....such conflicts are normal on a huge community like AS. It's the same in everyday life. Depends on the person, who's more tolerant than the other. Seems this is all getting summarized to the rule "Be nice to everyone". But again everyone with their common sense.

If you have an idea for a solution other than the sticky topic, then we're listening. (<- no that wasn't a sarcastic remark)

Technically speaking, you're not allowed to argue the decisions (not the opinions ;] ) of the mods in public or through PM's to the mods in question. This is to prevent bad blood.
What you should do (which will definitely not earn you any further warnings and/or bans, unlike the aforementioned example) is to contact the lead mods and put forward a case.
If you were warned/banned on the forums or for something you supposedly did on the forums, then you'll contact me. If you put in a fanfic & it didn't get accepted or it was removed, and you think it shouldn't, then you should contact LoneWolf_fanwriter (in the case of BaltoSource fanfics).
And so on.

Alernatively (if, for instance, you wanted to put a lead mod's actions towards you into reconsideration), you should get in touch with Togo - the man in charge of every staffmember on AnimationSource.

A bit of a difference, wouldn't you think?

As for a sticky on this topic, I too have to say no. Like Deni & UK said, it's just not sticky material.

What, so you're not even allowed to voice your opinion of a moderator decision? That doesn't prevent bad blood it also creates it.

There's a difference between arguing a moderator's decision & voicing one's opinion about them. One is trying to prove the moderator wrong so that your warning/ban is voided and the other is more like "I don't like what you did, for this and that reason but I'm not going to argue over it" in a sense.
The difference is small, I agree.

The only way to have a warning or ban on your account voided, however, is to contact the lead moderators & tell them why you think it was a mistake. They will review the case and act accordingly.
