Original and different, Don Bluth is well known as one of the most recognized animators of his time, separating from Disney in the 80s after being frustrated that the company's reluctance to produce more full length animated films. The film introduces more lesser known animal characters not used as much as others (horses, wolves, dogs etc, vs this movie's mice, rats, owls and crows) and has an original imaginative story that ranges from children to adults, and should have more of a fan-base. This is sort of similar: Name: Redwall Film or Series: Both General Information: Three seasons so far (fans have said there should be more) based on the popular books Redwall, Mattimeo, and Martin The Warrior, all by Brian Jacques. Redwall centers on a young mouse named Matthias and his quest to find the legendary sword of Martin the Warrior so he can save Redwall Abbey from a hoard of attacking vermin. Mattimeo, set later, sees the young ones of Redwall Abbey, including Matthias' son, Mattimeo, kidnapped by a band of slavers. Matthias and a select group of fighting beasts set out to rescue the children, while back home the Redwallers find themselves fending off a band of invading crows led by a maniac named General Ironbeak. Martin the Warrior, actually the first if taken chronologically, delves into the history of Redwall, telling of the legendary Martin's fight to destroy a fortress, free a band of miserable slaves, and reclaim his father's sword from the evil Lord Badrang. Owner: Nelvana and Alphanim. Link to the Series Wikipedia Page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Redwall_(TV_series) Why Should We Add It: Redwall started as a quite successful book series, with remarkable writing flair on the part of the author. The show has been aired in three different languages, and incorporates a varied cast highlighted by worthy and honorable heroic figures. It has shown appeal to young and old alike, and in every incarnation it blends fun and comedy with action and danger.

Since I've heard great things about Bolt the superdog, I believe it's a good idea to make a site! Name: Bolt Film or Series: Film Main characters: Bolt, Rhino, Mittens, and Penny. General Information: Bolt is a 2008 American computer-animated comedy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios, and is its 48th animated feature. It is directed by Chris Williams, who previously worked on Mulan and The Emperor's New Groove. The film stars the voices of John Travolta, Miley Cyrus, Malcolm McDowell, Claire Holt, Diedrich Bader, Nick Swardson, Greg Germann, Susie Essman and Mark Walton. The film's plot centers on a small white dog named Bolt who, having spent his entire life on the set of a television series, thinks that he has super powers. When he believes that his human, Penny, has been kidnapped, he sets out on a cross-country journey to "rescue" her. Owner/Producing company: Disney Link to the film/series Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bolt_(2008_film) Why should we add it? I think it's a movie for ALL ages. It has some humour, yet some emotion. How they have a show that involvs around him, Bolt thinks it's all real (the super hero and villian stuff) I think that's really clever, yet funny! I think the characters earned my love. I think they're great (especially Rhino the Hamster) The soundtrack, in my opinion, was great. The style of art awed me. I have nothing bad to say about Bolt. It's a great movie, and had me smiling through the whole movie!

Name: An American Tail Source
Film or Series: Both
General Information: (copied from IMDB website)
An American Tail: While emigrating to the United States, a young Russian mouse gets seperated from his family and must relocate them while trying to survive in a new country.
An American Tail II: A family of Emigre mice decide to move out to the west, unaware that they are falling into a trap perpetrated by a smooth talking cat.
Owner/Producing company: Don Bluth/Amblin Entertainment/Universal ?
Link to the film/series Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/An_American_Tail and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/An_America ... _Goes_West
Why should we add it?: An American Tail (1 and 2) are great classic movies. Sadly, there's very few websites dedicated to them, and those websites are very old and no longer updated. There's alot of emotion the first movie, which you don't find in alot of movies these days. :/

In that case, I should throw this one out there before I get the chance. - Name: Land Before Time
- Film or Series: Film
- General Information: (copied from Wikipedia) The Land Before Time is a 1988 theatrical animated film, directed by Don Bluth (with production based around his Ireland-based studio), and executive-produced by Steven Spielberg and George Lucas. Originally released by Universal Pictures and Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment, it features anthropomorphic dinosaurs living in a somewhat fantasy-based version of prehistoric earth. The plot concerns a young Apatosaurus named Littlefoot, who is orphaned when his mother is killed by a Tyrannosaurus. Littlefoot flees famine and upheaval to search for the "Great Valley", an area which has been spared devastation. On his journey, he meets four young companions: Cera, a Triceratops; Ducky, a Parasaurolophus; Petrie, a Pteranodon; and Spike, a Stegosaurus.[2] The film explores issues of prejudice between the different species and the hardships they endure in their journey as they are guided by the spirit of Littlefoot's mother. It has since spawned many direct-to-video sequels and a TV series, though none involve the participation of Bluth, Lucas, or Spielberg.
- Owner/Producing company: Originally released by Universal Studios and Amblin Entertainment.
- Link to the film/series Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Land_Before_Time
- Why should we add it? It's been listed alongside An American Tail and Balto in the classics package, and it certainly deserves that place. Like the other two films of that distinction, it holds appeal to a range of age groups and demographics, and it demonstrates timeless virtues in action.

Two more suggestions, although suggestions may have been closed for the moment. I keep forgetting to add them. Name: Bambi Source Film or Series: Film General Information: Bambi is a 1942 American animated feature produced by Walt Disney and based on the book Bambi, A Life in the Woods by Austrian author Felix Salten. The film was released by RKO Radio Pictures on August 13, 1942, and it is the fifth film in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series. The main characters are Bambi, a white-tailed deer, his parents (the Great Prince of the forest and his unnamed mother), his friends Thumper (a pink-nosed rabbit), and Flower (a skunk), and his childhood friend and future mate, Faline. For the movie, Disney took the liberty of changing Bambi's species into a white-tailed deer from his original species of roe deer, since roe deer don't inhabit the United States, and the white-tailed deer is more familiar to Americans. This film received three Academy Award nominations for Best Sound, Best Song for "Love Is a Song" and Original Music Score. Nope, I don't want people to focus on that, that's not the aim of this "new" topic.

I have one, Steet. - Name: Toy Story Source
- Film or Series: Film
- General Information: A little boy named Andy loves to be in his room, playing with his toys, especially his doll named "Woody". But, what do the toys do when Andy is not with them, they come to life. Woody believes that he has life (as a toy) good. However, he must worry about Andy's family moving, and what Woody does not know is about Andy's birthday party. Woody does not realize that Andy's mother gave him an action figure known as Buzz Lightyear, who does not believe that he is a toy, and quickly becomes Andy's new favorite toy. Woody, who is now consumed with jealousy, tries to get rid of Buzz. Then, both Woody and Buzz are now lost. They must find a way to get back to Andy before he moves without them, but they will have to pass through a ruthless toy killer, Sid Phillips. Written by John Wiggins
Toy Story is about the 'secret life of toys' when people are not around. When Buzz Lightyear, a space-ranger, takes Woody's place as Andy's favorite toy, Woody doesn't like the situation and gets into a fight with Buzz. Accidentaly Buzz falls out the window and Woody is accused by all the other toys of having killed him. He has to go out of the house to look for him so that they can both return to Andys room. But while on the outside they get into all kind of trouble while trying to get home. Written by Marcos Eduardo Acosta Aldrete
Imagination runs rampant when toys become mobile when not watched. Two toys, Woody and Buzz Lightyear despise each other like no other. But, when the toys are separated from their home, a truce is formed between them all in an effort to journey home. Written by Joshua Davis {[email protected]}
A toy named Woody has it all. He is practically the leader in Andy's toy room, Bo Peep has the hots for him, and most importantly, he is Andy's favorite toy. But when the clocks strike Andy's birthday, a new toy arrives. Buzz Lightyear, a space cadet who thinks he is a space ranger, (not a toy in a room) instantly wins over Andy, thus becoming Andy's new treasure. But when Woody is accused of knocking Buzz out of the window, he must go into the world and find Buzz, with many delays... Written by neo101
Andy Davis is an ordinary boy. Or so he thought. His baby sister, mother, and he live in a nice little house. The only problem that Andy doesn't know about is his toys. After he plays with them, they come to life. Woody, Bo Peep, Rex, Slinky, Mr. Potato Head, Hamm, Lenny, Slinky, Mr. Spell, and a few others are his toys. Then, as a rivalry begins between Woody and new toy Buzz. - Owner/Producing company: John Lasseter (story) & Pete Docter (story) ...
- (If Possible) Link to the film/series Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toy_Story
- Why should we add it?: Because it is a great movie, and it'd get lots of members.
