I've never been a GI Joe fan myself, not that I don't like it, just never got the chance to watch it. So I'll probably walk into it more open minded than someone who is a fan. Still, I'll admit it seems too CGI for my tastes. I prefer more like giant monster films myself, monster films in general.

I just saw an action clip from it and, while its nothing amazing, it beats the crap out of anything in Transformers. Why? Because I can tell what's going on. That being said, some of the effects look pretty fake.

I do have to say something though, if you hated Transformers, try watching Asylum Studios low budget rip off of it called Transmorphers...I'm serious. If you hadn't heard of Asylum before, they're known to do a lot of low budget rip offs of big movies, ether with their names or their plots.

I have seen it and I laughed hysterically. I guess you can kind of say I prefer it because it at least delivers on comedic value.

I'm assuming in a so bad its good way, correct? I hear a lot of Asylum's films are like that, though I enjoy some of them, the ones I've seen on the Syfy channel, but most are just low budget ripoffs.
