Abini gasped and spoke. "I don't not like you for that, obviously your nothing like him! The parents personality doesn't always pass down to there pups." She said, putting her paws on the operating table and licked his cheek as a reassuring gesture.
Jenna leaned against Balto and padded down the beach more.
"Sure!" Dipsy sprinted into th Post Office, a bag of jerky was behind the desk and it was open but no one was in sight, Dipsy quickly grabbed the jerkey and pulled it back to Dusty. "Here!"

Fang smiled. "Thank you." he said. The owners couldn't take Fang and the vets' office didn't take strays but in Nome, strays normally handled themselves well, half the sled dogs didn't have offical owners and nice people would feed the dogs, plus there weren't many cars in Nome so that wasn't a worry, once Fang was better, he'd be released but the vet promised to keep an eye out for him and would vacinate Fang. "Do you know Balto?" he asked Abini, unknowing that was her father.
Balto smiled to his mate. "Have you see any of the pups today?"
"Thanks Dipsy, everyone, lets have some." said Dusty, handing everyone a little Jerky before eating herself.
Ralph bit the jerky and pulled but lost his grip and his head went back and nailed Kirby in the nose. "Oops, sorry pal, you alright?"

Abini widened her eyes. "Hes my FATHER." She said, twitching her tail.
"Not yet." Jenna said, shaking her paw of sand.
Kirby yelped in pain. "OW! Its ok Ralphy." Then he ate some jerkey.
Kodi took a bite of jerkey and chuckled at Ralph and Kirby.
Dipsy helped herself to most of the jerkey.

Fang blinked. "Well that's conveniant." he said. "I want to find him...if my mean, bully of a dad hates your dad so much, your dad must be a really good dog...or wolfdog." he said. "I'd like to meet him...my dad did a lot of bad stuff to your dad." he said. "I want to make up for it."
Balto nodded. "Hey speaking of flirting, remember when you tricked Steele and burned his butt?"

Abini giggled. "Sure, I can show you when your all better." She said, a smile on her face. "Yeah, my whole family except for my grandparents were wolfdogs."
Jenna almost fell over laughing. "Yeah! Did you see the look on his face?" She laughed. But then she calmed down, "We should check on the kids."

"Of coarse she will!" Jenna barked and Rosy looked down. "Where to girl?" She asked, clipping her leash back on. Jenna looked at Balto and started padding towards town.
"My dad was a wolfdog, of coarse you would know, and my mom was a dog, but were not mostly dog or mostly wolf. Since my grandma was a wolf." Abini said, wagging her tail at Fang. "Well, Fang, how long did the vet say he had to keep you?"

Balto followed his mate. "I love Rosie, she's such a nice girl." he said. "I owe her one for always liking me, no matter what anyone else said about me."
"Not long, most of my problem was lack of food and water." said Fang. "After a good dose of medicine, the cold should clear up." he said. "Is it true your dad saved this town?"

Abini nodded a yes. "The Diphtheria Epidemic." Was all she said, she looked sad but if anyone saw her they would have no idea why. The reason why was because Abini HATED talking about the Diphtheria Epidemic. Abini thought it was sad, all those dying people. Must have been scary.
"You know she loves you." Jenna said, nuzzling Balto. "She thinks your the best dog in the world next to me." She laughed softly.

"Well I did save her life but it was for the right thing, I did it for you and Rosie, even if most of the town hated me." said Balto. "I'd do it again if I had to."

"Its ok, don't feel bummed." Abini pinned her ears back and tried to smile but Fang's sadness was keeping that smile back. "It doesn't mean you will be as bad as him."
"Yes you did but she loved you before that, and she still loves you now." Jenna said, padding along the beach and into the town, snow replacing sand.

Abini blushed. "Eh, thanks, I think hes even nicer then me!" She giggled, pawing at Fang's face playfully.
"So it is, is it?" Jenna laughed, heading towards Mr. Simpsons house. "Kodi?" She barked.
Kodi heard barking and turned his head. "Hey mom!" He shouted, padding towards her.
"Me and your father were just coming to see the kids. Are you OK?" Jenna asked, licking his face.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm fine mom." Kodi assured.
"Hello Mrs. Jenna!" Shouted Kirby from the porch and peeked his head over the railing to see Kodi's parents.

Abini laughed and nodded. "He will accept anyone!" She reassured him, nudging his paw. "I don't think weve got much longer, here comes Doc."
Kirby rolled his eyes. "As always." He turned to Balto. "So hows our town hero?" He asked jokingly, hopping off the porch and walking to everyone.
Jenna giggled and nuzzled Kodi. "Hello Dusty, Kirby." She greeted, hearing some strange music coming from someones house, she looked behind her and a couple was dancing with the window open, leaving them in complete sight. "Strange people, these days."
