Denya and Sidney were walking in the beach "Well, where did you bumped Chad?" asked Sidney "Mom! I already told you this two times, in a street near the post office, it was an accident...nothing much" replied Denya, embarassed "Why don't we go there? We always walk in the beach, it's a bit boring doing everyday the same road, don't you think? We can change today" said the older female, the younger sighed "Okay okay..." and they went in town, Denya hoped to find Chad again, so she could know him better this time. "Here we are, I was wal...running here" and looked in front of her, she saw a black figure laying in the ground "Chad!" she shouted

Chad was laying on the ground when the rottweilers left, but then heard someone calling his name. When he rose to sit, and shook his fur a little, he noticed Denya running towards him.
"..Denya?" he asked quietly, looking a bit surprised but then again he was very glad to see her.

Denya ran to Chad, that was now sitting in the ground, it didn't seem that he was hurt "Chad! Are you ok? What happened?!" she asked, worried for him, he didn't seem the guy that lays in the ground to sleep, he was probably attacked by someone.

"It was nothing...just a bunch of rottweilers that think they own the whole town" Chad sighed, turning his head towards Denya.
"But now that you're here...everything is more than fine" he then said to her smiling, with a soft tone in his voice.

Rottweilers?! Denya was so scared, she already heard some rumors about some rottweilers that were scaring many dogs in town...she smiled at him, glad that he was fine and sat next to him. Sidney watched the two from far and decided to retunrn at home, smiling, happy for her daughter and so, she left them alone. "I'm happy ot be here and to see that you're okay" he said, blishing a bit.

Chad turned his head towards Denya, smiling softly.
"Yeah...heh, then next I see those rottweilers I swear I'm gonna kick their butts" he then laughed, trying to sound as brave as possible. Maybe he was trying to impress Denya, telling her he could easily take down those rottweilers, even tough they were a lot bigger than him...and stronger.

Denya smiled and looked at her paws, then she shooked her head and chuckled "But pay attention, I heard that they can be very dangerous" she said, she knew that maybe Chad was trying to appear brave and strong but rottweilers are bigger and stronger than husky and, for sure, she didn't want that her new friend got hurt "Well, why don't we go somewhere?" she asked, Denya knew that her mother left them alone.

Chad smiled at Denya, and turned his head to the sky. Then, he turned his head back towards Denya.
"Yeah, why don't we go for a walk" he then suggested with a gentle smile on his face.

"Sure! A walk is ok!" replied Denya and she stood, waiting for Chad. That day was very unusual! All her days were made by the same routine, the walk with her mother, seeing her father and playing with her little owner but this morning she met Chad, he broke the routine and Denya was happy.

Chad smiled, then he got up to his feet, and started walking beside Denya.
"So wait, you said you're the daughter of Sidney? That means you're the grandaughter of Balto, right?" he then asked, with and excited smile on his face.

Denya proudly smiled "Yes I am, Balto is my granpa" she said, noticing the exited tone of Chads voice and she felt important for a time in her life, truly important "And Jenna is my gramma but I spend more time with granpa than with her" she said.

Chad nodded, still smiling and then asked:
"Wow, it must be cool to be related to such a hero?"

Denya blushed at those words "Well, it's nice...granpa always tells me the story of the race for the antitoxin and I really like listening at him, it's very interesting and cool but I don't mind if he's a hero or not, he's just my granpa!" she chuckled and looked at Chad "And who are your parents?" she asked, curious to know something about his life too.

"Well, my parents are named Devon and Tekeara and..heh, they're no heroes, but I love them anyway" Chad said with a smile, as they walked on wards.
"I also have a brother, and seven other siblings but I never get to know the others, since they were adopted. But my brother and I have always stayed very close" Chad told Denya, smiling and his tail was wagging after him.

Denya assumed a confused expression Devon, she already hear this name somewhere but in that moment she couldn't remember where or who he was, she tried to search in her mind but, nothing. "Well, they're your parents, I don't care if mine is a hero's family, I love all the members in family, heroes or not" chuckled Denya "I have many siblings too, what's your little brother's name?" she asked.
