In other words, bearing on your comparisons to the other two historical figures, Jackson really didn't do anything with his music to move people to action the way either Lennon or Kennedy did (for better or worse in those respective cases).

Now, I don't mean to bash you.

Oh don't worry, I get bashed all the time. You were stating a valid point, certainly a better read than an idiot coming out and saying "I'm glad wacko jacko is dead, that one person touching boys," those are the lowlifes that just want attention.

But, if you ask me, when it comes to the music itself, while John Lennon and the Beatles were basically the kings of rock (at least in my opinion), Michael Jackson was the one who broke down the color barrier in modern day, mainstream America.

R.I.P Micheal Jackson

I have to say,I never liked him till my Halloween party about three years ago. My mother had his dvd of all his music videos, everyone(the kids at least) watched the whole thing about 5 times till we started to dance! Then Halloween came and we played Thriller, everyone came to our house, dancing, singing,it was a blast! I really can't believe he died,at age 50 to,and he was about to maake his big come back right? I'm so shocked and sad,he was the best when he was younger and present day.

I heard he passed away yesterday. Not only that's a shock, that is worldwide. I will never forget about Micheael Jackson. The song I only liked from him was Thriller.

All I can say is R.I.P Michael Jackson.

He truly was the King of Pop.

Two of my teachers at school bought tickets to see him live at "The O2" in London.

I find it kinda funny how when he was alive, everyone made fun of him but now that he's dead, everyone is saying how great he was.

It just makes people realize that he was good in some ways.

Its sad when anyone dies, but I wasn't much of a fan, for various reasons. I heard about his death while getting ready for my High School graduation.
