    Name: An American Tail Source

Film or Series: Both (and there's two movies)

General Information: (copied from IMDB website)

An American Tail: While emigrating to the United States, a young Russian mouse gets seperated from his family and must relocate them while trying to survive in a new country.

An American Tail II: A family of Emigre mice decide to move out to the west, unaware that they are falling into a trap perpetrated by a smooth talking cat.

    Owner/Producing company: Don Bluth/Amblin Entertainment

    Link to the film/series Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/An_American_Tail and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/An_America ... _Goes_West

    Why should we add it?:
An American Tail (1 and 2) are great classic movies. Sadly, there's very few websites dedicated to them, and those websites are very old and no longer updated. There's alot of emotion the first movie, which you don't find in alot of movies these days. :/

Don't forget An American Tail III (I can't remember if it was called "The Secret of Manhattan Island" or "The Treasure of Manhattan Island).

I'm going to kill this topic for the moment, not accepting any more suggestions.

I can officially announce that Spirit Source will be the next one, considering the amount of requests for it (as well as on the french side) and because it fits the project very well.
I'll probably organize a contest soon to determine who will work on this.
But don't overhype yet, there's still a lot to do in order to get everything working on my side...

There are four, actually... (there has been two DTV sequels)

"The Mystery of the Night Monster" and "The Treasure of Manhattan Island" (they've been produced just before Balto 2)

But I don't recommend them - the animation is even worse than the LBT or Balto sequels, and the stories are not really interesting.

That's awesome to hear that it'll be next. :D I really look forward to it. I'd better get some good Spirit fan art together though, so I can send my horse drawings. xD

I might watch them just to see what they're like.
And cool, I can't wait to see Spirit Source!

Spirit Source!
Sounds like a super cool idea. I'm on it in case there will be a site-design contest!

The film stars the voices of John Travolta, Miley Cyrus, Malcolm McDowell, Claire Holt, Diedrich Bader, Nick Swardson, Greg Germann, Susie Essman and Mark Walton. The film's plot centers on a small white dog named Bolt who, having spent his entire life on the set of a television series, thinks that he has super powers. When he believes that his human, Penny, has been kidnapped, he sets out on a cross-country journey to "rescue" her.

At the moment, Steet only intends to allow 2D animated movies/series to be part of the AnimationSource project. 3D/CGI and anime are not allowed.

Two more suggestions, although suggestions may have been closed for the moment. I keep forgetting to add them.

Name: Bambi Source

Film or Series: Film

General Information: Bambi is a 1942 American animated feature produced by Walt Disney and based on the book Bambi, A Life in the Woods by Austrian author Felix Salten. The film was released by RKO Radio Pictures on August 13, 1942, and it is the fifth film in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series.
The main characters are Bambi, a white-tailed deer, his parents (the Great Prince of the forest and his unnamed mother), his friends Thumper (a pink-nosed rabbit), and Flower (a skunk), and his childhood friend and future mate, Faline. For the movie, Disney took the liberty of changing Bambi's species into a white-tailed deer from his original species of roe deer, since roe deer don't inhabit the United States, and the white-tailed deer is more familiar to Americans. This film received three Academy Award nominations for Best Sound, Best Song for "Love Is a Song" and Original Music Score.

I like the idea of a Bambi Source, but Bolt, as you may not have noticed, has already been suggested and is not going to be made int a site for the time being.
