The City of Ember... heard lots from that. I might check it out!

Oh wowie do I have a recommendation for you! (8
I highly recommend reading the "Percy Jackson & the Olympians" Series. This has to be THE best series I've ever read. In fact, I became so obsessed with it, I read the first book in less than two days X3 But this series will literally make you obsessed with it. Overall, there are five books and you can ask anyone who's ever read it that it is fantastic! It's basically about demigods and Greek Myths and all that and just so I don't spoil anything for you I won't say anything having to do with the plot line (8<

But it's AMAZING! Please please please read it! I promise you will not regret it! ^^
Here are the five books in order:

~The Lightning Theif
~The Sea of Monsters
~The Titan's Curse
~The Battle of the Labrynth
~The Last Olympian

Now... Rick Riordan (the author) is working on a new series that sort of continues from the last book, except it has a whole new group of demigods. Although, Percy and his friends will still show up there to so no need to worry.
Anyways, hope I helped and if you haven't read this series already, read it and I'm almost positive you won't regret it! It's unlike any series you've ever seen before!
